Notice that all of the Maulers who came through the portals were different. Knowing they'd be going into a dangerous battle, each different set of the Mauler Twins only sent one of themselves, so they have a backup to create a clone if things go south.
"Huh, the other one didn't come back. Guess that means I'm the original. Time to make another clone."

Gotta respect how Levy doesn't try sampling with just 1 or 2 other consciousnesses first, he just goes full send and tries to cram like 100 of them into his brain hole all at once.

@@KhaosOfficialYT his memories are getting messed up with the other versions of himself where invincible kills millions of people because he is evil in those other universes. He then blames invincible for causing the accident because he can't remember it that well.
Having characters pause before they say "Invincible" and seeing no title card pop up is seriously getting on my nerves.

He swept the leg, used a 360 roundhouse, I even saw a shoulder throw! Mark definitely spent the last month in an MMA gym after the amount of times he got hospitalized in the first season lmao
I kept saying to people that Mark in the comics throws a bunch of kicks, elbows, knees, Viltrumite hand slashes, ear bashes, and the like but people say he just swings his fists without paying attention
His adaption ability as well also helps
Angstrom should've portaled Mark to another dimension until the mind transfer was completed
or even teleport the maulers away once they occupied him enough.

He can't teleport Mark anywhere against his will. The only way he can forcibly teleport someone is by catching them by surprise by opening a portal under their feet and letting gravity pull them through it, and Mark can fly, so that's obviously not going to work.
As well, given the circumstances, he was not thinking clearly. He was doing his best not to be overwhelmed. When you are stressed, you make dumb choices.
I only just noticed that at 2:28 you can see the Angstrom that specifically gets pissed at Invincible's arrival is the one from the universe where he's evil
He is evil in a lot of dimensions but maybe that’s the one he killed his son
They really portrayed the existential dread of having the knowledge of 1000 minds occupying your own quite well. Can't even imagine Angstrom would have been sane even if everything went the way it should have.
also some minds came from universes with omni man and invincible taking over their planet
Nah he would have been sane. That was the point of the mini arc. Theres this one dude who finally is gonna make a change but Mark hits the wrong time at the wrong place (right after catharsis) and shit is gonna fly all over once again

It's really sad how in a try to save Mark, Levy messed himself up into becoming a monster that wanted nothing but to get revenge gainst Invincible
Pretty sure it's the Levy from the other dimension that survived, or at least his consciousness did.
All he had to say was, "This isn't a weapon. It won't hurt anybody. We're just sharing thoughts."

-He had already broken the Mauler twins out, so he couldn’t just ask Cecil, or he had tried that already in a different universe and Cecil said “no.”
He used this dimension because he lives in it.

This show is so much deeper than i expected! Love it so much. Binged entire first season in one day.
I think it's interesting that he took the helmet off to stop the maulers from killing Mark but then after the explosion he's like "THIS IS INVINCIBLE'S FAULT"
All the collected memories caused him to go insane
They had all one thing in common though which was Invincible being evil
So it's not really a surprise he lost himself

Anyone find it weird that invincible can be bruised and bleed very badly by the twins but unaffected to the explosion even his clothes while the twins are vaporised/melted cause I find that very inconsistent lol
Tbf, an explosion is a rapid pressure change pushing outwards. We know Mark is Impervious to that whereas we know with consistent, Blunt force trauma, he is weaker too.... Actually now that I say it, it is quite odd
In Invincible, an overwhelming number of weaker opponents can still pose a threat to an enemy even three times their strength. Happens like 4 times to different characters

@@lucasbroome1048 well to be fair he was being hit by all of them and with war woman's weapon which might be a very strong material, and all of his hits were basically kill shots while theirs were just a normal punch. But yes this show has very inconsistent writing in terms of power.
I am looking forward to the epic rivalry between Mark and Angstrom Levy. Things will get much worse, bloody and brutal than Season 1 was😂
I think we're all hyped for when we get to see Angstrom make his first real scenery-chewing supervillain monologue.
I think it's safe to assume that the original Mauler died a long time ago & the clones just keep cloning themselves, though this does beg the question why Mauler doesn't make a handful of clones instead of just 1 at a time?

There is a power dynamic between the clones of which is actually the original. This is demonstrated with King Mauler when it is obvious who isn't a clone. The clone immediately poisons the original.

It was really dumb of Angstrom Levy to not just send Invincible to a safe dimension until the experiment was finished and he could explain things and come to think of it why didn’t he just recruit versions of the Muler Twins that were good guys

Wrong, he had no reason to expect that outcome from pulling off the helmet, most likely he was taking it off so he could focus on talking or otherwise stopping the mauler twins.

Maulers are capable of breaking metal with their punches and fighting on par with and also harm the old guardians of the globe, The Guardians of the globe can harm Omni Man and tank hits from him. Hence why they messed up Mark this bad

Looking back, Angstrom's condition actually was Invincible's fault to some extent. Now that we know how strong Mark actually is, it's pretty clear that he was holding back against the Maulers to the point that Angstrom tried to save him by putting himselves at risk.
Cecil played by Walton Goggins is so good
Those multiple versions of Mauler explain how Levy build that machine in the first place: he didn’t. He used the other maulers to build it.

I think its all the other versions memories in his head. All those other memories see invincible as the villain and now he cant tell them all apart. The maulers did warn him about not forgetting who he is and the other versions are.
Also I don't think he wanted invincible at all. The reason for merging memories was to use the ideas of all his alternate selves to make every universe better by helping with medicine and technology.

Marks ended up evil or something, our Mark is an outlier - it could very well be several Angstrom Levys merged together. It does appear to be more than one's memories based on how he talked after the one Mauler pulled the rubble off of him, ngl. The good and kind Angstrom we know is still kind of there, just jumbled because he more or less forgot which memories are specifically his and which aren't.

That particular Angstrom Levy looks angry and vengeful at the sight of Invincible. He also said, "he killed so many people, people I loved" which os exactly what that specific Levy went thru at the hands of Invincible and Omni-Man in that dimension during the first ten mintues of Season 2 opener. I think he's the dominant persona of all the Levy people
It's explained, he confused his memories with that of other dimensions, so he no longer can tell which ones are his original memories and what aren't
I imagine the maulers from alternate dimensions harbor hatred for invincible. Since every invincible except prime invincible becomes ruthless and evil, and most likely ruling over them. and seeing the opportunity to beat him to death, they didn’t hesitate.

He probably couldn't get all of them at once because he was in the chair he was multitasking keeping the 9 portals open and getting all that information into his head and threatening to take it off would probably not work because they know he's a pacifist that's why they were panicking when he actually took it off because they didn't expect him to be that dumb

If I was in Amstrong's shoes I'd not take the helmet of, sure Invincible would die, but if I did take it off all other me's would also perish. Just snatch a baby mark from another alternate universe and bring him here and make a story real Mark (dead one) somehow got turned into a baby by the explosion. Problem solved and everyone is happy and I get to keep my brain at it's normal size.
