Totally exhilarating! The possibilities are endless with technology.
Future generations starting up old electric motors won't be so much fun.
It’s just too bad that the two locomotive engines shown to entice our viewing was NOT started and run as I and I’m sure many were waiting for.😢
7:41 I love it! Every part visibly busy with its appointed duties!
I don't know why with all the cool engines why they have to CLICK BATE the picture.
Health and Safety AWOL here.
I don't know the US name of the spray the old guy is spraying in the intake of the Fairbanks Morse to help it get running. In Australia it's called 'Start ya Bastard'. A stationary engine owner's best friend. 😂
First picture was an EMD love them.
the way the kid in black coat at 7:10 flinches... tells me he had something backfire on him
The best sound is for me the Fairbanks.
That Fairbanks sounds like it playing a tune in perfectly harmony.... fantastic sound...👍👍
The thing that scares me about old Cummins is that the color of the smoke makes them look like they are going to run away at any second.
That 500 kva cummins has a stuck injector.
Bout the 500KVA Cummins: OK, I know one exhaust says "pope" and the other one says "non pope", but once in a while, they spit some fire from hell. Now that's a whole theological engine!
Great - could have been even more interesting with some time indications and uses, though 🙂
Well now I know why the climate has changed - due to all that pollution....
Don't breathe those fumes!
The start up picture of a huge engine was never shown. Opps
Click bait.
how many people are thinking maybe that would fit in my truck ?
Just you then hahahahahah
Greta Thunberg!!!😂
Why are the thumbnails to these videos always a Kharkov 10d100 diesel? I didn't see a ТЭ10 locomotive start...
GM V12 567 2 stroke dynamite engine
Love it. We love our train videos in Clemson SC, Go Tigers! Keep it up
that was supposed to be a video of start up sounds? I didnt count them, but most of them were already running when filmed...
Man, there’s years of memories in this video. Overhauling a F-M sitting on a pumping unit (pumpjack to some) in the middle of winter was cold work. But in hind sight it was good work. Great memories of the engines and people I worked around.
How about a Norberg 16cyl...
Any Norberg would be great to see. I had a Norberg straight 6 in my 1952 26 ft Chris Craft. It worked good, didn't use much gas and was so quite..
Dungarees, straw hats, baseball caps and long beards optional.
I did not know Lycoming made a piston engine
2:36 not only supercar can do 2 step, diesel also can do dawg 🗿😎
That Fairbanks Morse was built in the year I was born ,1947....makes me feel old.
You are old.
CLICK BATE…….NO locomotive engines as pictured
