    Awesome video! I 100% agree with everything you said. For CF to stay in the game they do need a turbo model. Also believe they need to redesign the breathers in the back as someone else commented. Maybe redesign them higher as a snorkel look a like. As far as suspension that’s a must as well. My only concern would be all this means higher prices in return may mean a little slower sales because admit it, right now that’s what helps CF is price difference. Which there is alternatives. People like us have to keep advertising these machines as being able to keep up with other top brand competitors as well as be dependable machines. Thanks for the video and taking time to make! Hopefully CF will see it!

    Interesting video. I still think if the price goes up more people will just buy the other brands with more local dealers.

    I just purchased the Iron Baltic skid plate for my zforce 950. Its was fairly pricey for it. Compared to other brands Cfmoto is still the cheapest brand out there with good quality. Polaris, CanAm and Honda are more expensive and you still need to replace or upgrade parts. I’m not complaining about it because it’s fun to upgrade my sxs.

    • @mjmisadventures950

      Absolutely agree with ya it’s fun to make it your own. I’d love to see some upgrades that are worthwhile like shocks. The skids are kinda trash from all brands “besides can am” theirs are pretty good actually.

    Re-style the rear end. The breathers and their rocket tubes are kinda giving it a kid's toy vibe. Its like the body vanishes behind the doors. Make it so you can retro-fit existing machines to use the new body style. BAM, double your sales.

    I agree it would be awesome to do what you are saying but I think cfmoto's market is the guys and gals that can't afford over 25 grand for a machine. When you're talking r&d, performance suspension, and turbos the price starts to be comparable to the other top brands anyway. I guess it would be cool if they made an expensive model, but they would definitely have to keep their low end models to stay in business.

    • @mjmisadventures950
      @mjmisadventures950  6 месяцев назад

      I agree the z950 is a great platform and I’d love to see it stay. But giving us the option to choose better suspension or more power would be great. I’ve talked about companies making a long travel kit for these machines but nobody is interested in doing it. But imo if they made a 68-72 inch wide machine with good suspension I’d be perfectly ok with spending 20k.

    I definitely can agree with you. I have a 950 gen2 and while a decent machine it’s just not quite the unit some people make them out to be. Under powered and I have found the overall quality of the chassis just so so. No regrets but not so sure I would buy another. Hopefully they can step things up. Thanks for the video

    1000$ more dollars for shocks would get you the same shocks you got now. Most high-grade shock packages are in the 5 -7k market

    • @mjmisadventures950
      @mjmisadventures950  7 месяцев назад

      Yes in a way but when purchasing in bulk they can get those prices way down. Even Hester shocks are around 3k for a set of stage 4’s and that’s if purchased individually. So it can definitely be done

  • @bullionbouncer5080
    @bullionbouncer5080 7 месяцев назад

    If they did any of these things that most are asking for, they would cost as much if not more than the other bigger brands. My 950 was trash right out of the crate, cfmoto in plymouth MN was a big run around with lies and just straight B.S.....they have plenty of potential but again, all these upgrades from the factory will just make the the price higher and that seems to be the biggest reason people are buying them is because of price, if any of the other brands knocked their prices down i dont think cfmoto would be able to breath. So they need to do many of them upgrades to stay relevant in my honest opinion but again thats going to hurt a lot of feelings when they up the price, be careful what you ask for.

    • @mjmisadventures950
      @mjmisadventures950  7 месяцев назад +1

      I think the price would go up some absolutely but if you compare the price of cfmoto shocks from the factory vs Polaris rzr 1000 fox or walker evens shocks their about 200 dollars more per shock. I’d gladly pay the 800 dollars more for the machine for a set of fox shocks that can be tuned and adjusted to each riders uses.

      Or look at the new 1000 as well it has a ton of tech that is cool but honestly not really all that useful I’d rather see skid plates and shocks over an infotainment system

    the problem is everything you want will raise the price big time thats why thier as cheap as they are thier not gonna give ya more n not charge ya for it n if they start giving ya all high end stuff it will be priced like a polaris or can am without the horsepower

    • @mjmisadventures950
      @mjmisadventures950  7 месяцев назад

      Your correct it will change some but call your local cfmoto dealer and ask how much a stock z950 ho sport shock is and then ask how much a rzr 1000 shock is. Their about 200 dollars difference. If they charged said 800 dollars more per machine to get fox or walker evens shock’s wouldn’t you be ok spending that little more for a far better shock?

    Well I have a 2021 z Force 800EX at the time I bought mine I like to looks a bit better than I did the 950 a time I bought all the aftermarket parts windshield lower door panels rock bars aftermarket pipe aftermarket air filter done a Ray Parker ECU flash and the list goes on when I first got it I went over harbor bolt on it I haven't had the oil lake in between the case like everybody else has I've checked in bolts I change oil even when it don't need to be changed and I change your rear diff over time I changed the oil and I am running Lucas side by side oil synthetic but I like the 800EX but it did not like the original stock pipe it makes the rear end and the back of the bed run too hot which I'm modified the stock pipe but I'm running my aftermarket pipe since I paid money for it Mike in 2021 when I bought mine it wasn't a whole lot of bikes around I found mine and a lawn mower shop out of Huntington West Virginia lol I am from West Virginia I'm still on factory belt and factory tires no clutch mods or no brakes yet but I know it's about due for brake shoes and tires definitely only problem I've ever had which they didn't even want to warrant it give me the runaround I've done the water pump seal because I never took out the antifreeze soon enough only the outside water pump seal was compromised so don't have a whole really a lot to talk about with you on the 950 h o or the others but I do like the new Gen 2 950s and the 800 trails a lot of people slurred me when I got my CF Moto but I like it very well it has over 4,000 miles and most of them is on hard road and it is street legal only do trail riding no major mud bogging or use it like a submarine it looks as good as the day I bought it I'll see if Moto could do some improvements on a lot of things like where the battery is located like where the air filter is located plus I paid an extra $300 for the signal light kit which I know these different signal light kits out there I don't really like the price of the OME belt I've already talked to main Street cycle they are very good company also have talk to redneck garage have really learned a lot about my CF Moto I am disabled and I'm over 61 years old being a mechanic all my life road ATVs dirt bike hill climb my daddy worked at the Yamaha shop when I was a kid let's see if Moto could do a lot of improvements it's like I said on the EX the battery is definitely in the wrong place along with the air filter but I really don't have a whole lot of major complaints with my little z Force I've had a lot of people tell me they really like the looks of my machine
