Hi I’ve been buying hmt’s since 2017 from eBay I have a ridiculous amount all different faces I have well over 100 , the straps are rubbish so I buy nice straps leather and NATO’s, one in 20 arrives not working! But my old watch repairer can almost always fix them,he says the quality is on par with vintage timex, most mine have the lug holes & mushrum crowns and screw backs,I’ve noticed they are now hard to find, I believe in years to come these hmt’s will be worth alot more than what I pay for them,but I don’t think I’ll ever part with them,I also collect Ricohs really funky! My wife has 40 hmt’s mostly Micky mouse dials all the different colours,great but sad history on them closing down, don’t know why they don’t export them to the west before! But they are old fashioned and that’s the CHARM.
Hmt few models were only popular in the market. They were lagging with new attractive, innovative designs, and poor sales strategies, mismanagement, no expansion of production were all the reasons led to close down the factory
I remain astounded at the model range, and variants, of HMT watches. Sublime video for which I thank you.

Yes I did it for guys outside India, from other countries. Many of them are tricked into buying counterfeit from eBay. This would be a basic reckoner for them
