A DAZZLING night on Virgin Voyages Valiant Lady - Episode 3

- Join us as for our third Virgin Voyages Valiant Lady vlog! In this episode, Valiant Lady arrives in to Cannes, France.
We start our day off in Razzle Dazzle, a "Virgin Voyages culinary experience".
We then take a tender boat ride from Valiant Lady over to Cannes, where we enjoy a little time wondering the streets, enjoying the sunshine before finding a little spot for some refreshments (Wine and beer!).
Back onboard it is to the Dock House for some delicious nibbles, the hanger steak and king prawns are lush!
For dinner, we're back at Razzle Dazzle!: "Serving familiar favourites all day and then into dinner, prepared from consciously sourced ingredients served in a fresh, no frills, and downright delicious way. There's sure to be something here for every Sailor on our menu of American classic comfort foods, from veggie-conscious fare and juicy meats to tempting sweets, and gluttonous treats. With so much variety, you won't need to worry about checking the menu ahead of time for that one picky eater in every group (you know who they are).
Mindful eats are the name of the game at Razzle Dazzle Restaurant, but there's something for everyone to enjoy."
It was a delicious meal with great service! After our meal, we went to catch 'The untitled dance show party thing'. Here we join the Virgin Voyages dancers for a one-of-a-kind dance show - its weird and wonderful!

Our Valiant Lady cruise started in Barcelona and we cruised to Marseille, Cannes, Palma De Majorca and Ibiza, before returning to Barcelona.

We are bananas about cruising! We started cruising in 2014 by doing a mini cruise on P&O Aurora. We may not be the youngest cruisers but we are trying to break the stereotype that cruising is for retired people. On a cruise you will normally find us wondering around the ship taking in the atmosphere (and working our way through the cocktails).
We have sailed on Celebrity Cruises, P&O Cruises, Cunard Line, Princess Cruises, MSC Cruises, Royal Caribbean, Virgin Voyages and Avalon Waterways. Razzle Dazzle is my absolute highlight for brerakfast/brunch. After spending the last 12 days on this ship, I've only just realised you can get fresh smoothies in there every day - d'oh!

It comes to something when you have to go all the way to Cannes for a working McFlurry machine lol. Cannes does look like a lovely place to spend a sunny day just wandering around taking in the sights.

Lovely update chaps. My good lady likes eating all that seafood stuff, not for me though and especially octopus, I have thoughts of it being like one of those anti slip bath mats sliced up and cooked. 😁👍

I used to as well have even had some quite chewy stuff but if your good lady could tempt you to try Spanish octopi you might change your mind,,,

I'm new to your channel and i absolutely love you both!!! Currently binge watching all your vlogs 😊 done a couple of cruises when i was in my twenties and now got a family, my youngest has ASD and we would love to do a first family cruise. Are there any cruises that you would recommend for children? Thining maybe certain p&o's or msc would be our best bet? Happy cruising love you guys!!!!
Welcome!! Glad you like our vlogs! Oh difficult one as we’ve not cruised with kids, but you’d be looking at Iona or Arvia for big modern ships but if very busy ships are an issue, Azura or Ventura are smaller so might be better. The MSC ships are stunning but again can be busy but have amazing water parks! Princess are one to look at too, they sail from the UK and have Discovery club for kids of all ages. Best advice is to talk to a specialist cruise travel agent who knows lots about family cruising. We use Martin at the Holiday Village but can also recommend Emma Otter at travel councillors both should show up in Google - you’ll never pay more with an agent and you can have a good chat about your requirements and etc.

I like Cannes, but if you want somewhere a bit smaller and quieter nearby jump on the train to Antibes

We went for 8/8.15 and would just make it so if you want to be sure to see everything, go earlier, around 6:30-7 we’d say! 👍
We went between 7 and 7:30 each night and found that fit in perfectly with the shows.
