If I saw Norman Reedus on a plane I would do what any considerate fan would do: look, double take to make sure it's him, say nothing, go to my seat, and proceed to have a mental breakdown as quietly as possible.
Shanthini Mahendran yeah but to them i guess it's normal they don't release that if they're in a plane or somewhere else outside a panel then they're just regular people who sometimes don't want to be disturbed
Unbelievable. I met some celebs in my life but I always asked politely if I could have an autograph or a picture. Because sometimes they are not in the mood for a picture and that is totally okay. Just let them decide. You are the one invading their personal space.
people so often have no understanding of boundaries these days and no respect for other people's privacy - it literally is not hard to be polite and ask first, or simply understand that maybe sometimes a celebrity is tired or busy with something else and just don't bother them
Rft T being excited doesn't excuse being a selfish demanding ass, which is what often people turn into when they see their "favorite" celebrity. I'm not faulting people being excited, but actors are people too, human beings, they are not zoo animals for you to gawk at and do whatever you want nor are they suppose to ask how high when you demand them to jump. they do not exist for other people's enjoyment. it is not difficult to follow the idea of treat others as how you would like to be treated. I have been in a room with my most favorite person in the world and I have walked away because precisely I understood that they were on their personal time and was clearly hoping for some peace and quiet. I'm not opposed to people asking celebrities for photos, but more than half the people don't do it politely with any manners and when they do, they start demanding more. I've seen it. people become so selfish and it's disgusting. it annoys me even more especially when nowadays they have conventions set up for fans to meet actors and behave "excited" and make demands because hey you paid for it and the actors are working so that's fair. that's the only place where a fan can demand what they want. what people are is selfish tbh, they think more of their desires than be considerate of the actor they come across. look, reality is, it isn't hard to ask permission first. if you're really excited and really want to speak to the actor or get a picture, ASK THEM POLITELY and take a hint if they say no.
Rft T and actors should not be forced into a corner to be responsible for someone else's emotional well being or happiness, that is incredibly unfair and selfish of other people to demand. again, I'm gonna just say it's selfishness and lack of manners, I completely understand the actors' POV on this because I have seen fans behave simply abysmally on the streets when they run into celebrities, suddenly it's like they crowd around someone who's just out for a stroll or running personal errands and it's just simply rude and horrible
Rft T I've even seen fans do this when actors are out with family members or kids. people have no consideration or they're apparently not perceptive enough to pick up on the fact that this is someone's personal time and to leave them alone.
I'd treat them like a normal person. I'd be like "It's good to see you, you are awesome!" Not ask for a picture or anything, I wouldn't even want to invade their personal space.
***** Well I mean sometimes they don't always want pictures being taken of them. I don't need the bragging rights, it'd just be awesome to meet any of them in person.
domanskikid Oh, so acknowledging someone like that is not normal? You must live a very depressing and lonely life, because I acknowledge my family and friends like that all the time. It just makes people feel good to let them know you acknowledge their success and appreciate them. So that is normal, your life just sucks, clearly.
I hung out with Norman and the director of "The Road" in Manhattan at a bar...then I dragged them to the bar below my apartment...Great guys..we had a great time..He hit on my chicky friends only after asking if "Any on of them were my girlfriend"..very respectful guy..great fun and the MAN CAN DRINK..
Sounds like a fucking blast. Now everytime you watch walking dead you can be like "I was technically partying with daryl and merell before the apocalypse" lol
There's never any good reason to stick your phone in someone's face and take a picture, celebrity or not. Whoever did that to him on the plane is a scumbag.
old vid but i ran into norman at the airport a few yrs ago. he looked tired asf so i left the dude alone but it was fucking sick seeing him in person ! family still dont believe me which kinda sucks lmao
Joel Same right here dude. None of my friends believe me when I say that I met with Finn Wolfhard (Mike from Stranger Things) in person at the airport in Cali. xD
Many years ago I and my classmates were on a school trip to a popular UK theme park. Whilst there I spotted a British "celebrity" on a day out with his family. Even at that age I would have never dreamed of walking over to someone and bothering them for an autograph (especially if they were with their family). However I did point him out to my friends who promptly ran over and made a scene. I remember the look of despair on his families face as they stood huddled to the side and waiting for the crowd to disperse. They had come there to spend the day as a family and now I (with my big mouth) may have ruined that experience. So that was the day I promised never to bother or draw attention to a "celebrity" in public again. I also realised that the whole concept of "celebrity" honestley means very little to me. These people are just like you and me. They're doing a job and when they're on their days off they deserve exactly the same treatment and respect as everyone else. Over the years I have met many "minor celebrities" both in the working enviroment and in passing. Not once since that day at the theme park have I ever aknowledged that I knew who they were or treated them any differently. When these people are on the streets they are members of the public. They have no obligation to stop and talk to you or take a photo with you. So don't feel offended or insult them if they tell you to go away. If you expect special treatment then visit a convention where they are being paid for their services. Indeed I myself have experienced similar reactions from people who think it is their right to have there picture taken with me. I'm 7 foot tall (something of a spectical here in the UK) and people ask to take photos with me on a weekly basis. When they ask it's not an issue, but when they hide or secretly snap a quick picture it can become slightly annoying. I almost always notice when it's happening and usually politely inform the person that it's kinda rude. I tell them that if they simply ask, I will almost always say yes and ultimately they would end up getting a better shot anyway. The point is to just try and remember that just because these people appear in your home on a weekly basis that doesn't make them your best friend. Or give you the right to envade their personal space. However if you must approach them always judge the scenario first and think how you would feel if you were them. Just remember to stay cool, respectful and be polite. Hopefully treating them the same as you would anyone else.
People forget that celebrities are also just people who deserve their space. Imagine how annoying it would be if someone shoved a phone in your face 24/7 😑 and they're such humble and down to earth guys too :(

I never ask for a photo because it's a bit forward in my opinion, for me a handshake is always good enough and a major privelidge just meeting them to be honest!
My grandpa overturned his 18 wheeler truck, he is big and sweaty, and he was in Georgia when his truck flipped. My grandpa might have met a celebrity and didn't even know it
Wow that's some story. Imagine getting saved by an already bloodied Daryl Dixson. Imma move to Atlanta. I wanna hopefully see him on a motorcycle. Hehe
why fans think its ok to do what they do is beyond me. coming to your house bypassing the security gate , trying out door knobs or stealing your shit is just crazy.
When I first heard Andrews voice it freaked me out I’ve lived in Atlanta my whole life and his southern accent was so convincing I didn’t even think for a second it was fake I mean yeah the “Thang” and the “Coral” thing was a little funky but I thought it must’ve been a dialect thing
if i was working on a flight and norman reedus walked on i would internally be flipping out and acting super shy and awkward on the outside and like have another flight attendant ask for a picture with me haahaha
Ok I don’t understand why people are so rude about it tho like whenever I met a celebrity out on the street or something if they’re with their family or friends I don’t go up to them I let them do their thing but of theyre alone I will walk up and quietly ask if it was ok if I shake their hand or get a picture and if they say no then I would respect their decision and leave it’s common decency because I empathise slightly about having people in my personal space I hate it I like my space and I like being alone so I respect those boundaries with others too no matter who they are
I've never understood this obsession for pictures. It's like you want to ride on their coattails, using the picture as proof of how awesome you are because you are able to harass an actor. I'd be more than satisfied with just telling them thanks for their work and getting a nod or some sort of acknowledgement from them.
Or, some people just want to reflect on that time they met that celebrity. I do not condone taking pictures without permission, but some people that ask for photos at appropriate times, like at conventions, just do it to create memories.
If I saw Norman Reedus on a plane I would do what any considerate fan would do: look, double take to make sure it's him, say nothing, go to my seat, and proceed to have a mental breakdown as quietly as possible.

I love when actors who live to get noticed act like they're annoyed when they get noticed. They love the attention and they love to complain about it.
I would sit down next to Norman and show him memes of the Reedus Feetus and never say a single word for the rest of the flight.
“So many bugs in ga” it’s true we have one to many bugs here during the summer it sucks 😭
I never ask for a photo because it's a bit forward in my opinion, for me a handshake is always good enough and a major privelidge just meeting them to be honest!
thats funny somewhere out there is a trucker who was saved by norman and not one of his fellow drivers believes him lol
Stop flicking us off norman 😂😂
My grandpa overturned his 18 wheeler truck, he is big and sweaty, and he was in Georgia when his truck flipped. My grandpa might have met a celebrity and didn't even know it
Wow that's some story. Imagine getting saved by an already bloodied Daryl Dixson. Imma move to Atlanta. I wanna hopefully see him on a motorcycle. Hehe
if i saw Norman Reedus in real life i would just say "Hi Norman" and give a handshake take a picture maybe then walk away
No one does more for their fans than the cast from this show. You would really have to do something rude as all hell to piss them off.
"Not to throw any names but... I got hurt."
Andrew did you punch him
I might just smile, say "Thank you for your work on the show" then leave him alone.
why fans think its ok to do what they do is beyond me. coming to your house bypassing the security gate , trying out door knobs or stealing your shit is just crazy.
When I first heard Andrews voice it freaked me out
I’ve lived in Atlanta my whole life and his southern accent was so convincing I didn’t even think for a second it was fake
I mean yeah the “Thang” and the “Coral” thing was a little funky but I thought it must’ve been a dialect thing
I would just die before taking the pic if I saw any of them lol
if i was working on a flight and norman reedus walked on i would internally be flipping out and acting super shy and awkward on the outside and like have another flight attendant ask for a picture with me haahaha
Wow thats there real voice! Not what i expected.
when I’ve met celebrities in the past I simply went up to them and said “hi! do you mind if we get a quick picture?” and they say yes. simple as that.
This music sounds like an 90's video game
Ok I don’t understand why people are so rude about it tho like whenever I met a celebrity out on the street or something if they’re with their family or friends I don’t go up to them I let them do their thing but of theyre alone I will walk up and quietly ask if it was ok if I shake their hand or get a picture and if they say no then I would respect their decision and leave it’s common decency because I empathise slightly about having people in my personal space I hate it I like my space and I like being alone so I respect those boundaries with others too no matter who they are
this is somehow great that their jobs are following them, i'm refering to Andrew Lincoln's story^^ that one is just great
Andrew is a young Peter Capaldi but with Simon Pegg's voice
Good googahmoogah! Norman says 'Georgia' so nicely..... [that's my name, btw... extra tingles]
Who tf just shoves a phone in someone’s face
I've never understood this obsession for pictures. It's like you want to ride on their coattails, using the picture as proof of how awesome you are because you are able to harass an actor. I'd be more than satisfied with just telling them thanks for their work and getting a nod or some sort of acknowledgement from them.
Or, some people just want to reflect on that time they met that celebrity.
I do not condone taking pictures without permission, but some people that ask for photos at appropriate times, like at conventions, just do it to create memories.
ohh Rick can laugh too😂
