Maybe because through extraction of 8 teeth he had enough room to move the occlusion. Extraction sites are more malleable and not as rigid. The outcome was so good actually 🤩
So why wasn’t reverse pull headgear used to help advance the maxilla forward so it can catch up to the mandible INSTEAD of recessing the whole mandible to follow the already incorrect position of the maxilla? The problem lies within the maxilla and not the mandible. Instead of extractions which proves to negatively affect airway, exacerbate any TMJ issues and also make a flatter face, why don’t you get some expansion and arch development to fit all the teeth? This is routinely done without major surgery in adults his age.
Headgear on an adult is a complete waste of time. Stop listening to those Mewing looksmaxxing people. If a patient doesn’t want to do surgery, then this is the best way to go about it.
My Dentist looked at me like I was stupid when I mentioned this treatment. Do you know anywhere in the U.S where I could get this treatment with BS? I have had under bite since I was a kid and dont want to do surgery.

If your doctor tells you to do the surgery... DO THE DAMN SURGERY. 'Camouflage Orthodontics' will not fix the underlying problem and you will need to deal with it later on in life.

I dont agree with the Diagnosis of this being a True Class III malocclusion, its a pseudo Class III with a functional , crossbite, therefore the case is actually a simple one of extraction and de-crowding, yes the selection of brackets with the right torque and use of Bite Turbos definitely are noteworthy.
