I love Sondos, I hated it when I first got it because I smelt what you discribed but I let it sit for 3-4 months and it has fully changed to a caramel oud scent. Soo happy I forgot to give it away😂
Really? I am glad I did not declutter it then lol. I will keep holding on to it till December. I hope it macerates because I adore Caramel scents ❤
Oh yes. I didn't like it at first but a few months later I love it. Same happened to me with Amber Oud Gold so I think it's the fruit notes that need time to macerate.

I'm obsessed with Sondos...it smells so damn good....I was in love at the first initial spray but I thought it was a little too strong...let it sit for almost 3 weeks before I sprayed it again and omg...I'm in need of another bottle. I love it sooo much!!!

I would say Shaheen gold goes in the way of amber oud gold edition. But Shaheen gold is sweeter, brighter and more feminine. It has a hint of oriental spices too.
Awww I like Sondos! I layer it with ny Miss Dior Cherie dupe oil from Luxador and i feel like I smell really sweet and feminine. I really think all of our noses smell things differently. Love the video. ❤
You have made the purchase of many middle eastern perfumes for me much easier. I do not think you are confusing in any way. Your videos are not stuffy nor snobby like others. I respect your opinion. I also have rewatched many of the videos so as to not miss perfumes that I would otherwise miss. Thank you for your reviews and opinions they help a lot.
I love Sondos 🤩❤️ It smells expensive and elegant to me. Sweet, floral, fruity, slightly spicy and a little woody. It is gorgeous 😊 Maybe yours needs to macerate.

I love Sondos. It’s too sweet, that’s my only con. But if layered it’s wonderful. 48hrs on my cloth it’s still there, showered 3x now and I can still get the faint smell. It’s not synthetic to me though. It wasn’t love at first sight, I hated it at first but after letting it sit, I enjoyed it.
Sondos reminds me of a different twist on la vie est belle. But so much better. I smelled this on a man and I walked around asking who was wearing this perfume!! He said it was him and he had the bottle with him. ( this was at my leasing office btw). I sprayed it on my hand and bought immediately! It’s gorgeous. It does not smell like miss Cheri. That was my signature sent back in the day. So yeah no. Not the same. Very happy with this 23$ purchase on Amazon.
Oh my goodness.. you talking about the oil brought back my PTSD from blind buying Swiss Arabian Amaali!!
Did I get sucked in to the viral vortex? Oh yes.
Did I love the bottle design? Also yes.
Did I turn green around the gills and become instantly and insanely nauseous upon first try? 2000% yes!
I’ve NEVER ever had such a visceral reaction to fragrance in my life..and I hope to never ever experience that again! Although Bond No 9 Greenwich Village had me gagging! So there’s that.
But you’re so right about body chemistry playing such an important role in what scents work or don’t; oddly enough my teenage daughter LOVED Amaali and to my absolute shock, it smelled lovely on her!

Lol! I have thought so many time to buy those three oils that have the same bottle design but somethin g always stopped me. I dont particularly like using oils for the same reason as your trauma lol.

Khadlaj newly released Hareem Al Sultan EDP. I love to combine oil and parfum for added longevity and performance. I was sent a 20 ml sample card of the EDP at it's wonderful. Hi Simin. I really am thrilled by your perfume stories and comparisons❤❤❤. I bougt Armaf Signature True but for me it was just ok. However, my mother loved it do it is in her collection. And then my sister. They are both very happy with it. Hareem al Sultan in an oil version is not for me but I patiently waited for the EDP version and I like it. Sondos is beautiful, it is pity that it is not Miss Dior Cherie dupe, but still it is very nice for me. And I am very interested in Ajmal Evoke Silver. Greetings from Poland❤

I mixed shaheen gold with Tharwa and with libre too and it smelled amazing. You gave me that idea when you said it reminded you of libre so thanks

In Dubai unfortunately the stores that have these particular brands are in the old Dubai perfume market. And you do have to explore them to find some.
I am planning on doing a vlog visiting the perfume market in Winter to avoid burning into a crisp in the current weather lol.
On the other hand, brands like Ajmal, Rasasi, AlHaramain, Swiss Arabian, Ahmed AlMaghrabi, Lootah Perfumes etc. all have physical stores in most Dubai malls.

Sondos is just weird on me. It has an odd metallic note on my skin. I’m sure it’s the same note that is ‘plasticy’ to you. Whatever it is it’s just sharp as heck. I’ve been letting it sit for a while, but I can’t get rid of that note!
After your review I won't get Sonos, at least not before getting a sample first. Many I love it, not all. I want to get my hands on that harem Al Sultan, but I've not seen it on European stores. But I'll keep on looking.
I really enjoy Phantom for myself even. I find it a pretty Unisex fragrance. I hope this one doesn't smell exactly like it though. I like when fragrances add a twist to it, or improve on the formula. Instead of matching exactly. Not sure if they tried to dupe??
Always enjoy your reviews! By the way, we have similar tastes in bottles. I can't stand even J. P. Gaultier's Le Classique, although I love the fragrance.
Weren't Vintage days so good with Packaging? Chanel, Dior, YSL, they were all so classy. Now it is all about shock value I suppose 😂❤

Oooooh my current fav is Haya by Lattafa. What an addictive Floral sweet perfume. It smells like strawberry dipped champagne and florals ❤

Me too. It’s very nice. It smells like Tootsie Rolls or Caramel candy. That goes to show that everyone nose is different and fragrance reviews are opinion based.

Dead by 2/10😂😂😂. Yooooo now I am torn between Shaheen gold and signature 😢. I really love la Nuit tresor DNA, I bought jazzab bcs of that similarity. But this Shaheen sounds intriguing. Maybe I must stick to signature. Thank you Simz for another nice list. And you can spray your perfume tests anywhere you want, we are here for it. I can't find evoke gold for her in SA🇿🇦. I thought the silver was for man, we learn.
I’m confused with afnan because they also made modest which is the same dna as La nuit tresor now signature lataffa is the queen of reforming and repackaging wasn’t expecting that from afnan 😢😂
There is silver for her and for him. Same as gold also has both. I've had silver for awhile and I enjoy it something awful. Only atomizer is none too good and tends to leak. I was so happy seeing your review on it, there is not many of it.

The Sondos bottle bothers me so much. I just see it falling over and breaking. Same thing with those Lancome bottles too that you have to lie down or they fall over. I find them so annoying 😒
That Sondos bottle is wild 😳 😂 The box reminds me of a French tapestry so in my mind it should contain L'air du Temps or something similar.
