Good tips Dr. Arora. The new desktops and laptops might have a cloud drive (like OneDrive) linked with the file chains. There is a possibility that the config.py file is there. You may want to mention it, although that happens rarely. Usually, the config file is created in C:\Users\{myuser}\.jupyter directory. Your lessons are clear, and I have shared them with my students. @@DrNishaArora Post this change, this will affect only when the jupyter notebook is opened from anaconda navigator. If we open the jupyter notebook from the default command prompt. This change will not affect. Is that expected?

Exactly what I was after, great work. But I also notice that the ipython, continuum, conda, jupyter and .condarc folders still start up in C drive (which is annoying, - how do we change this so that it opens in my D drive not my C drive)???

I even went right to Jupyter docs to make sure nothing changed since she posted this video and right from them it doesn't work.
I just get a menu for the arguments that I can use of which --generate-config isn't one of them.
Really makes me wish that all the Udemy courses would just use VSC or PyCharm or some other IDE that isn't a pain in the butt.
All this stuff, including a basic config file, should be created on install or ask when you install to avoid this stupid kind of flash back to DOS command line to do everything from 34 years ago.
Oh, and of course, using the Anaconda.NAVIGATOR to run a command prompt doesn't even work properly.
