As a fellow Disney adult (literally got back from the OG Disneyland today) I absolutely LOVE that you love Disney as you do and are an avid fan of dressing well. Proves we can do both ❤️
The reason I moved to the countryside too …..my 6 doggies….the upkeep on the house is a full time job as is keeping hair off my clothes as our dogs are family and sleep and live indoors …the house is never perfect never a show house …but I don’t care Love my doggies ..
Late January is my absolute favorite time for a WDW trip - the best way to beat the dead of winter, post-holiday season blues. I'm excited for you and Simon!
There were 3 items with tags on so I wouldn’t say there were loads and 2 of those items were things I bought for occasions which were cancelled due to the pandemic and then life changed so I wouldn’t wear them now. Not everyone can afford things which aren’t high street so whilst I think it’s great that you spend the time putting thought and effort into purchasing items for your wardrobe the same can be done with high street clothing. It doesn’t have to be expensive to have thought behind it.
You should do an entire video devoted to DISNEY wardrobe & accessories. I would be so here for it!! ❤ It would also be fun to hear your top few rides, restaurants, shops, memories, or tips in each park since you’ve been to so many locations!✨
I actually have a TikTok account for Disney as I want to keep it separate as not everyone likes it (weird I know 😆) but I haven’t started creating yet but when I do I’ll share the link x
Busy week, Emma! Those lucky little B’s, such lovely walks. So happy for you, planning your Disney trip. I’ve been wondering if you’d want to go back soon! Wishing all of you a great week ahead!
Emma, I adore you for being so open about your love for Disney! I'm not a Disney person myself, apart from sometimes listening to Disney as comfort music. But I fall asleep every night with an audio play of a children's/youth series that I already know from my childhood. I'm always quite embarrassed about this fact and wouldn't admit it to other people outside of my inner circle. I think it has a lot to do with society's expectation that you behave in an adult way or only do things that are considered grown up. Especially as a women I don't want to evoke the feeling of being "childish" or "weak". To see you talk with so much joy about Disney made me smile so much and gave me more confidence to own up to myself and my ritual of falling asleep.
Enjoyed this little vlog life update, always nice to see the dogs (and Simon). Great decorations but it’s a big no on the scary 🕷️😱 for me 🤣. I feel like Derek has a backstory?! I don’t think you can ever be too prepared for a trip, loving all the Disney clothes you’ve got for your holiday. Happy Sunday ☺️
Great vlog, perfect for a crisp autumn morning here in NY. Have been wanting to try Hello Fresh, I can't boil water without something going wrong so HF is probably a great way to start learning how to cook without collateral damage.
Your love for Disney, talking about the Florida Disney as “home” …. Oh, Emma. Just when I thought you couldn’t be more endearing 💕 I had a goofy grin on my face as you laid out your outfits. I’m not a “Disney Adult”. Ive only been to Disney World and only once. I went as an adult. I’d always wanted to go but that is definitely the exact opposite of any place my parents ever wanted to go to, so …. Anyhow. As we entered the gates at The Magic Kingdom and I began walking up the Promenade to the Castle, I am not embarrassed to say I burst into tears. I had no idea just how much the little girl in me had really wanted to be there until that moment. I was overwhelmed with emotion. And I have to say, after 4 days there and visiting every Kingdom, one day being an utter downpour, I was, indeed, happy every moment. It really IS the Happiest Place On Earth 😊 I’m so excited for you.
That’s so lovely to hear and I love that is has that effect on people who didn’t go as a child, it really is like being fully immersed into a world of magic, imagination (shout out to Figgy) and happiness. What was your favourite park and did you get to meet any of the characters? Oh and, Happy Disney 100th Anniversary to you today ✨
@@EmmaHill Thank you 😊 Happy Anniversary to you, as well. I have to say, the Magic Kingdom has my heart. It’s so quintessentially *Disney*, but it’s hard to choose. They are all special for their own reasons. As to meeting characters, we had young ones with us so via them we met quite a few. Mickey and Minnie probably gave all of us the biggest spine tingle lol. Although, whilst not strictly a Disney Character, the one that really got a big reaction out of me was Darth Vader lol. I was goggle eyed looking around the Star Wars ( I’m a huge fan) installation and not really aware of my immediate surroundings. I heard a bit of a commotion behind me, heard that iconic breathing, turned and was face to chest with the Sith Lord himself. My body and brain were suddenly 5 yrs old and I froze in complete fear and panic 😆. He played the part very well and there was a bit of a back and forth and I have to say, I wasn’t really play acting along hahaha. My family thought it was THE BEST THING EVER and its a story that is told faithfully around here. I shall never ever forget it. For the kids, by far the biggest moment was when the pirates landed on the beach outside the hotel (we stayed at The Grand Floridian) and captured one of them. There was a momentary panic (could this be real??) on their face, but the sheer delight of the experience definitely won over. In their mind, they were 100% living out their Pirates of the Caribbean fantasy. Every one of us had a truly magical moment while we were there that will be cherished forever 💕
Oh how amazing! I have yet to see Galaxy’s Edge in real life as I haven’t been since 2019 when I saw it being built, although I watch a lot of Disney park videos and listen to podcasts so I can already navigate my way around the area with my eyes closed 🤣 The Grand Floridian is beautiful, by far one my favourite hotels on property along with Animal Kingdom Lodge. The Foyer of The Floridian at Christmas is just beautiful 🥹 Haha the characters are great, if you converse with them they are always prepared and you can have some really unique interactions with them. Me and my husband had a chat with Cinderella right in front of her castle about what she likes to eat and what she does at the ball 🤣 Mickey steals my heart every time though, I just cry my happy tears 😭🙊
Loved the vlog. Your films are always so relaxing to watch. I may have spent a lot on Amazon after seeing your decorations. Can I ask how you stuck the spiders on the brick wall?
I grew up in the countryside in Cornwall so I can’t say anything was a shock, that said I didn’t have JustEat when I was a kid so the only thing I was surprised about is the number of takeaways that deliver 😆🙌🏼 Otherwise nothing else shocking. The two lifestyles are very different but I wouldn’t go back to city life again, this is right for us ❤️
Love seeing the Bs on walkies ❤ you even make hallowe’en decks look stylish Emma - so cool. Loved the outfit planning ahead of your trip - such a good idea of taking a photo of possible outfits….might have to borrow that idea for planning work outfits. That HF meal of honey peri peri potatoes looked delicious. Have a great Sunday ahead.
Eeeeek!!! Very excited about your trip!!! 😁 love some of your Disney pieces, I too am a self confessed adult Disney lover, no feeling compares to walking down that Main St!!!!x
The Disney Cruise is top of the line in luxury and leaves from Cape Canveral Florida ( I live in Miami) This is the best cruise and the kids have their own levels, there are adult only places and plenty of comedy shows and SHOW shows. It's expensive, but is the same price per day as staying at Disney, I love the cruise so much, especially the week long ones as they offer more fun things. It's a MUST for a Disney fan!
Oh I know, we’ve done one 🙊 We did a vlog on it back in 2018. We did the 4 day Castaway Cay/Bahamas one on board the Disney Dream and it was so much fun. The shows were amazing, the Castaway Cay day with a Cabana was awesome and I loved the food on board, it was right up my street. I cried when we had to get off the ship, but I cry a lot when Disney is concerned 🙈 Arriving, leaving, seeing and meeting Mickey, the smells, sounds and memories 😭 I would definitely go on another cruise though and I’m sure we will, many of them probably 🙊😆
@@EmmaHill Just to let you know that Disney Cruise now has a Concierge Level on some ships. It is just like in a hotel, it has your own lounge where breakfast is there, and they are open all day with drinks, champagne, even very good appetizers, really anything you want. It was worth the price, plus they made arrangements for those cabanas FOR us, as well as guides and things most guests don't have access too. They were trying it out a few years ago, and got great response! So ask for that, next time you go, and now with the European cruises, it's even closer for you!
@@janelleespinosa6247oh that sounds great. We did club level in Animal Kingdom Lodge and that was so handy having the special lounge to get snacks and drinks whenever we wanted to. I used to go in there in my PJ’s before bed for a cookie 🤣
Loved this, especially the Disney part! Would you consider doing any Disney packing videos etc? Also what do you search for to find some good Disney buys on Vinted? I haven’t used it before. Thank you. X
You can just search Disney and then refine to women’s clothing, and men’s if you also want men’s. It’s full of Primark because they have constant Disney collections but every now and then you can find a gem which is either from a Disney park or unofficial but really cool. I will probably share what I’m packing on insta or the Disney TikTok I set up, unless O decide to vlog the whole trip but I’m going with a friend, not Simon, so I don’t know if she’ll mind me having a camera out a lot because it is quite annoying 🙈
It was soooo good 🤤. I usually only eat chicken because it’s the only meat that doesn’t make me feel dodgy 🙈 I also avoid most dairy for the same reason even though I love cheese 😭 and there are plenty of options. We only had the 1 meat dish with chicken and that was made with coconut milk so zero dairy 🙌🏼
They have a lot of recipes on their website, I find it so great for quick ideas to change up the meal plan each week and then tweak the for preferences/allergies when I’m doing my grocery shop
Funny to see Halloween taking off there. A friend moved to Devon area years ago and talked her neighbors into doing trick-r-treating for her kids and the other kids in the neighborhood. It was pretty funny. It’s truly the best holiday ever!
Halloween has always been big in Scotland - but we call it 'guising' i.e. getting dressed up in a disguise. It also involves going around local houses to get some sweets but here you must have some kind of performance to earn your treats, even if it just a silly joke. I really hate seeing the Americam 'trick or treating' edging this out. Oh and we would hollow out a turnip - or 'neep' - for a lantern, tho I will admit a pumpkin is a lot easier! It is a real community event, especially in villages.
Yay! We’re currently planning our honeymoon going to Alberta (been watching your videos) and then on to Disney World next year, we too are Disney adults 😊, can’t wait to see your Disney World content!!!
Halloween originated in the British Isles, it’s the Eve of All-Hallows, or All-Saints Day, November 1. So it’s All Hallows-Eve, or HallowE’en. All-Saints is, of course, a Christian holiday, but the pagan belief persisted that the barrier between the material and spirit world weakened in the evening before this day, allowing ghosts and evil things to walk the earth. I think the early Christians chose the date to give a Christian overprint to the pagan Celtic festival around this time of year. I think the Jack-O-Lantern, or carved goard, later pumpkin, lighted from within with a candle, might have originated in Ireland. There is a Halloween house decorating contest in my neighborhood every year.
The lantern in Scotland was originally a turnip (or neep) - much more difficult to carve out than a pumpkin! Here we're trying to hold on to the tradition of dressing up and going 'guising' on Halloween rather than the awful 'trick or treating'. We put a lot of effort into our 'performance' at each house for the sweets, even if it's just telling a daft halloween joke - makes it an very entertaining evening as the kids come to the door!
Disney and Mickey mouse tshirt for mecan you sent me one tshirt 😅. I really look forward to your video and seeing my fav. Simon at the rear frame is just love....❤ Seeing you cooking is hilarious but I'm happy you have done a marvel job..... I have been a fan since 2017 and you have come a long way. I'm so proud of the things you have achieved and as always Simon for the support in every little things you do. ❤ Much love Jen
Your description of the grey sweatshirt is coming up with a different item Emma , please can you tell me where the lovely grey sweatshirt you are wearing in this video is from ? Thankyou
I love a spooky theme! We love Halloween on our house 🦇 ( and we are all grown ups 😅) and this year we prepared for it early by growing our own little Japanese squash which look so cute gathered together on the kitchen table! I love then putting up other bits, like the autumnal door wreath and bats, skulls and spiders also creep in, I find spooky month so comforting 😂 I have recently learnt though that fake webbing is not good for our wildlife, as real insects do indeed get trapped in it and of course they are a valuable food source at this time of year for our birds 😢 so glad you are enjoying cooking with the boxes, it looks great to have all those new recipe ideas and ingredients all put together for you, perfect when you're so busy ❤
We have lots of wildlife in our back garden and 3 cats that are constantly out at the front of the house so birds have learnt not to hang about there and head to the back garden instead, very wise 🤣🐈
@@EmmaHill oh no! When I had cats they always had tinkly bells on their collars to warn the wildlife, as I've always fed the garden birds, the bells were really effective!
I’d love to try and understand the adult Disney thing. Went to Disney as a teenager with my family but to repeatedly go as an adult with no children. I don’t get it? But I don’t have to have fun
You don’t have to get it. People like different things, but we don’t all have to understand them. You probably like or enjoy doing things that I don’t but I don’t feel like I need to understand it, it’s just that we’re all different.
Doing the things you love, revisting the child in us, it keeps us young, creative and happy! I've recently joined a choir and we are singing musical medleys like The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast etc, it's utterly joyful ❤
I got back from 10 days in Orlando this morning, it was our 14th visit, we went to all the Disney parks, water park etc, we don't have children and we had the best time, it's not just for kids. In fact there are significantly more adults than children.
@@lucyc3696 I think most adults are big kids at heart......or would like to be lol ♥ colouring and mud pies were 2 things I loved as a kid, and the Disney classics at my local cinemas Saturday morning club, now I've substituted garden mud for clay and I draw and design instead of just colouring in....oh and i'm singing Disney classics 😅 do the things you love, it makes the world a brighter place 🔆
@@lucyc3696 ahhhh amazing! I hope you had an incredible time although I already know the answer to that because it’s impossible to have a bad time 🙊 We always go outside of school holidays as we have no kids like you so there are always more adults and I absolutely love that Disney community. Making friends in a ride queue after chatting about a Loungefly I’m wearing, singing along with the parade, crying together whilst watching Happily Ever After with no judgement. I’d happily live amongst Disney adults for the rest of my life 😊🙌🏼✨
Lovely video Emma. I wonder what you think of Disney these days? The old Disney from our childhoods I adore however these past couple of years they have gone so Woke and their new releases re bombing, loosing Disney money hand over fist, along with re-releasing all those classics with a "modern twist'. Just curious on your thoughts? x
Every generation is going to be different so I whilst I prefer the Disney films that I grew up with there will be a new generation which love these new films. Having said that Encanto is a newer film and it’s actually one of my favourites. The live action re-makes are again just catering for a new generation who live in a different world in comparison to when we were growing up (assuming you’re a similar generation to me). The classics haven’t gone away and I must admit that o get a bit tired of people moaning about the new releases. Ok have an opinion but at the same time we still have the films we grew up with, no one’s forcing anyone to watch these new ones. I went to see the new Little Mermaid at the cinema and I enjoyed most of it (apart from Eric’s song 😖) but what I noticed was all the little girls sat in the cinema who were giggling and when it finished were excitedly talking about it, just like I did with the films that were released when I was their age. Disney has always had films that don’t perform as well at the box office and ones that blow everything else out of the water, it’s just that same hit and miss.
I agree, no one is forcing people to go see the new releases but i do find it sad for such an iconic brand, that I too adored growing up, enjoyed visiting the parks, watching with my nieces has changed so fundamentally from what it was when we were young. I appreciate companies change and move with the time, but at the cost and detriment to loosing their customers and pretty much, billions of dollars seems strange and sad to me. I find it sad that they cast and change their characters to fit a narrative and ideology for this generation and do not and have not stuck to what they were always about and to me looks like they are selling out. That being said, I agree, no one is forcing people to go see these new releases and that's very true and clearly Disney are seeing this in their pockets with most new releases bombing time after time. I dare to think how the Snow White will do 🙈 I can't remember so many of them missing as opposed to hitting. Anyway, I was just interested to hear your thoughts on a beloved brand x
@@loubella32I’m totally on the same page that they definitely don’t have the same feel as our classics, because ours are just that, classics 🙌🏼 That said there are some changes in narrative which I totally understand due to a change in ‘the times’. Some things which were just classed as ‘the norm’ back then which just aren’t ok now. I still find Disney to be as magical and captivating as it always was to me as a child though. The parks are getting more expensive, mainly thanks to the f***ing Chapek days 🙄 and Disney trying to pay for Disney+. More IP is integrated into certain areas of the parks which I’m not sure Walt would have fully been on board with BUT I do still get that same feeling every time I walk through the gates to any of the parks and so long as that remains, I’ll continue to give Disney all my money 🤣
This was the most fun holiday for us kids growing up in the US in the 60s and 70s. Do children in England go trick-or-treating? It seems to be be a declining custom here now, some gruesome urban legends, all false, put many parents off allowing their kids to go out and do it. My brother and I use to run as fast as we could from house to house to maximize our candy haul! The places that gave chocolate candy were the best. I no longer even buy candy, I haven’t had a trick-or-treater in decades, it’s a bit sad.
Cold for Floridians but not for British 🤣 I’ve been 3 times before at this exact time of year as mentioned and always been able to wear shorts, granted not every day but definitely for a good few.
The black and white thumbail really threw me off, almost skipped over the video, not realising it was you! Loved the video, so lovely to see a vlog from you ❤
Man I was so excited when I saw the thumbnail, an actual Emma vlog! I loved those, your sense of humour really came through. While I understand why you don’t do them anymore, a voiceover vlog is just not the same. :(
I could watch your videos and listen to you ALL DAY LONG! So soothing🩷. So glad you are going to Disney again😋😋. Be careful you don’t get sick… Florida does not encourage vaccines, so with so many tourists you will be exposed to many people who are not vaccinated. Just wanted to give you a heads up🥰.
Tbh whenever travelling before Covid I would usually get some kind of lurgy, it’s only natural given that you’re surrounded by so many people from different places with different germs. I caught Covid after going to Disneyland Paris in the Summer and Europe is big on vaccines so I don’t think it makes a difference, it’s just one of those things we all have to get used to now because it’s everywhere.
Dear Emma, I found three items that I would like to buy from you 🙂 Will you list all items also on Vestiaire ? This would be the only chance for me to buy them 🙂if I'm fast enough ;-) ....Or would you make an exception and send the things to Munich? 🙂 Andreja
I will be listing some items on Vestiaire but only higher value over £500. Everything else will be on Vinted although lots of items have already sold as I started listing on Friday. I’m afraid if buying on Vinted it’s UK only because I use UK Vinted and it doesn’t allow other users x
Florida is not the OG, California is. But regardless, it's fun to see you enjoy Disney and Halloween so much. You seem a bit more serious! Great video as usual
I’m a very avid fan so regardless of if I have a trip planned or not I listen to 5 podcasts a week as well as watching videos from my favourite Disney creators and I have American friends who both work at WDW or just live local and have annual passes so I don’t miss a beat. I know exactly what’s changed and what it looks like, what things cost, lightening lanes, Genie+, opening hours, what will be closed, what food to buy where, how to book a virtual queue and what time to do so, every mode of transport available. I am that person 🤣
Oh Emma ! How encouraging to see you have a junk room too , thank you for showing the room we all try to hide 😂😂😂😂
Haha well, not any more but yes, it was definitely a dumping ground for over a year 🙈

Smashing vid beautifully filmed and narrated- best to both ( and the bees )
You both are wonderful! ❤❤❤
Fantastyczny vlog 💚
I usually avoid those meal boxes as I’m dairy free and eat little meat/fish but that potato thing you made looks yum!
Loving Derek 😂😂😂😂😂
I've felt in love with these big spiders 😁😁😉 halloween items in your chic/stylish/awsome house rocks everything !!! I love it !!!
Have a nice day 😘
Disney and Mickey mouse tshirt for mecan you sent me one tshirt 😅.
Thankyou
It’s sold out now I’m afraid but was men’s H&M
Phew lol 😂
@@lynnmichelle5482we loose more birds and mice to those 3 cats than I care to think about 😳🙈
@@EmmaHill oh no! When I had cats they always had tinkly bells on their collars to warn the wildlife, as I've always fed the garden birds, the bells were really effective!
@@lynnmichelle5482that’s what I would do if they were our cats but alas, they’re not 🙈
Emma, I really like your Halloween spiders & Bats.
Thanks 🎃
Loving the vlog content!! ❤
4:35 - I would absolutely LOVE this jacket! 😍 Has it been up for sale yet?
Everything in this this video has already gone up for sale and sold I’m afraid, although there will be more items listed over the next few weeks 👍🏼

Love the spiders
This was the most fun holiday for us kids growing up in the US in the 60s and 70s. Do children in England go trick-or-treating? It seems to be be a declining custom here now, some gruesome urban legends, all false, put many parents off allowing their kids to go out and do it. My brother and I use to run as fast as we could from house to house to maximize our candy haul! The places that gave chocolate candy were the best. I no longer even buy candy, I haven’t had a trick-or-treater in decades, it’s a bit sad.
Yeh I remember trick or treating as a kid and I’m 38 now 🤣 but over here children tend to be supervised so mum &/or dad goes with them.
Where I live ( small coastal town south of. SF) we get 100 or so children . it’s so fun to see their costumes !
Disney trip VLOG pleaseeeeeeeeeee Emma!
You know Orlando in January is cold no need for shorts.
Cold for Floridians but not for British 🤣 I’ve been 3 times before at this exact time of year as mentioned and always been able to wear shorts, granted not every day but definitely for a good few.
Omg that huge spider freaking me out😂
Well the house is covered in them, we have 9 🤣
Omg Emma why are you getting rid of that navy blue arket jacket?! WHY? 😮😮😮
I don’t have a navy Arket jacket 🙈

Man I was so excited when I saw the thumbnail, an actual Emma vlog! I loved those, your sense of humour really came through. While I understand why you don’t do them anymore, a voiceover vlog is just not the same. :(
I’m glad you understand as they definitely won’t be coming back and if these vlogs aren’t your thing then you don’t have to watch them, I won’t mind 😜
Hello Emma:) it was nice to see you:)
Your hair is so long now:)
I don't have Instagram and by the time I get a notification from Vinted, the bits are already gone 😢
Sorry x
@@EmmaHill good for you though that they sell so quickly 😉
Ooooohhhhhhh excited x

Yes I know, that’s what I said ‘apart from the OG Disneyland’ 🙈 I’m far from serious 🤣
Are you back to vlogging? 🤩
Noooooo not every week, I might just do one of these every now and then x
❤
Disneyworld is now going to be the same as you remember..
