Great video. I use the old palm method of packing bearings as well, cheap and easy for sure. Had a CJ-A years ago, wish this conversion had been around then. Back in the market for one, this will be one of the first upgrades, thanks

Having bad brakes and a high BAC with tar in your lunges is all part of the operating experience of these old Jeeps. Might as well drive a white 2wd soccer mom Wrangler if you’re going to put disc brakes on a Willy LOL

Seth, I just bought a complete front disc kit from Kaiser and a dual master cylinder. do i still need proportion valve since the rear is a drum brake. i noticed you used a single master cylinder reservoir, anyway, you have a great tutor video and well presented. thank you, Bob

Hi Bob, I have done a lot of testing on this topic. While companies generally recommend a rear proportioning valve I have not found them to be critical. A residual valve for the rear would be a good idea since you still have drum brakes. I do have a video showing the dual master install on the Jeep shown in this video. Hope this helps. 👍

Do you sell a 2WD version that will fit my 49 Willys Jeepster? I order a fuel tank and some other parts the other day from y'all. Do you typically send a its shipped email with tracking number?
