Brilliant video mate, some things there I learnt that others haven't explained in their really quick and basic videos. I'm looking forward to your assembly video as I've had my gearbox and transfer case sitting for 18 months waiting for reassembly but I'm not technically minded enough to read through and understand the technical manual...basically I'm a bloke with zero experience doing this sort of mechanical work. So as soon as you post up your video I'll be able to have a crack at getting my boxes done.

Awesome! I’m glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the feedback! The assembly video will be up really soon. I’m working on it now. Building the spicer-18 is one of my favorites! Thanks for watching!

@redeyecafegarage7484 hopefully you'll have it up by the weekend? That's be great if you did. I saw you did a disassembly video for the L134 block, am I right to assume you'll be doing reassembly as well as that's another one on the cards for me in a month or so. Saving up for the machining of my GPW block so as soon as I have that done I want to get it reassembled but I have so many questions in regards to using old parts like valves, valves guides, rods, tappets etc.

Nice video Seth. The more I watch the more I want an old Willys but without all the effort. 😀

    Excellent instruction. Thanks so much.
I rebuilt a 45 GPW tcase about 15 years ago and as you said its mostly gaskets/seals, but also replaced intermediate shaft and bearings. At the time was warned to avoid the very cheap ($10) import intermediate shafts as they would disintegrate in no time. I also opted to leave out the interlock pill.
    Thanks again!

Really interesting, good video. Do you ever work on diesel motors?

Yes, almost everything I own is diesel including my other flat fender 👍

@@Hinesfarm-Indianasure! Did you have any specific questions. I’m no diesel pro but I know enough to be dangerous! The gmc was my latest diesel swap. 👍

@@redeyecafegarage7484 yeah I was just wondering if you got into working on them much, I overhauled our one John Deere tractor this winter, it was neat to work on.
