Weirdly as a former Corpsman with 5/5B 2014-18 I said the same thing to my wife. They managed to capture a really nuanced viewpoint that few can understand. And then exploited that. Somehow the conversation during that scene made it worse
I think Deputy Nick's actor was great! His muffled screams sounded like true agony. Not over the top screaming like a Terrifier movie. The sounds he made seemed almost involuntary and it makes the scene so effective
What a fabulous introspective you have here, okay, so I don’t know HOW I missed this movie cuz I’m a horror fan. I have to guess that cowboy movies put me off😂. So I’m gonna watch it for sure, I admit that I am actually nervous about it ❤. I just hope it not gore porn
@TheresaBielewicz definitely NOT gorr porn! Yes, it does have some of the most grisly violence you've ever seen but it's few and far between and is integral to the story/plot... Never gratuitous. Zahler does a great job of using horrific violence to further invest you in his story and characters Bone Tomahawk IS a Western tho. A beautifully shot, written, and directed Western. I don't consider it a Horror movie but the movie definitely has a sense of dread/horror loaming over it at all times
😂😂😂😂😂 this was so damn perfect. I found the movie on Netflix just now and thought, this sounds familiar, and i was like, isn’t that the movie that i witnessed a scene that made my stones drop to my toes😂 apparently it is. Imma watch it. Ive never watched the movie just that one scene. So here goes
Hard for me to understand some of the Foolish decisions made by the characters. Including having a bone weapon within reach, an waiting till after a Trog figures out how to reload a rifle, and Shoot the sheriff in the chest, before the sheriff gets the weapon an proceeds to kill the Trog. He could've killed the trog before he was shot an survived having his stomach cut open, cause the hot flask may have cauterized that wound some. So many foolish issues, dumb decisions, and a Inexperienced injured husband surviving, that make this a possible 3* out of 10 for me. One of Russell's worst movies in my opinion
Subscribe if you can do the splits.
That movie was traumatizing and im a 38 yr old vet with 2 tours to Iraq.
That review should be on the cover.
God bless you and thank you for your service
im not an iraq vet and it made me nearly vomit just seeing clips online. truly sickening.

3yr Army vet, thanks for your service. Some gave all, Some still give
To me, this movie is a Tough pill to swallow with some foolish Decisions.
This video is therapy for those who watched the movie
Van Damme in a Western? I think they tried that year's ago and it didn't exactly pan out.

So bone tomahawk is basically The hills have eyes but set in the old west
That made me f****** laugh
The one thing I never knew I needed to hear
It was a good movie, but having to watch the guy with the broken leg drag himself around through the entire movie ruined it

They aren't humanoid monsters 😅. They are just people.
well they’re not much of humans so humanoids a fitting word and humans can be monsters
I don't get your bit about Van Damme not gunna lie.
He is known for doing the splits in his movies
So he could have played the guy who gets… split
What the hell is a demak
