As everyone as said, this show is formated in arcs. 1-3 is an arc, 4-6 is another, 7 is a standalone, 8-10 is one, and 11-12 is the last one.

    • @Spaxer

Should've been released like this that way they get the full thing, also so they can just burn through the backlog of massive content they're requested as new stuff still releases

@@Spaxeryeah agree but I like the 8-10 arc to be in parts because it the best one to watch that way. The other could be better to be released together, especially the first one, which is the slower of them all.

Some struggle with how "slow" this show is, but I love how it's unlike any of the other shows, it looks and feels so realistic, and I love seeing the perspective of the regular people of the Galaxy and how they deal with the oppression of the Empire.

By the end of episode 2 I was telling to myself 'what the heck I am watching' and about to drop it, and I would maybe have if some friends had not insisted in making me keep watching it. Episode 3 had moments that encouraged me, but 4 and 5 are again a slog. Then from episode 6, nearly everyting is incredibly wonderful, with some of the best moments I can remember of Star Wars since Empire Strikes Back.

Anyone familiar with Star Wars going into this should notice the different feeling immediately. The dark, grimy sci-fi Amsterdam setting. A brothel with heavy, pulsing music. The main character kills two bad guys and it's not a heroic moment. The lack of subtitles in the flashback scenes. The snappy writing between Brasso and Cassian, or Syril and his superior officer.
This show is intelligent, realistic, and deep, and it's everything I want Star Wars to be. Great costume design, cinematography, acting. It has it all and I really hope you two can appreciate it for being someone new and fresh.

I am Holden's existential face when being asked if Tron is like Star Wars.
Seriously, it is... sort of... but not really... but kinda. It's sci-fi fantasy, there is a rebellion, cool ahead of their time special effects... iconic actors... but Star Wars was a blockbuster, and Tron is a cult classic.
Star Wars is the popular kid in School. Tron is the interesting but geeky kid that not everybody gets.

I'm so glad that you're watching and reacting to Andor. I was very hesitant to watch it when I first came out since I was so disappointed in The Book of Boba Fett and Obi-Wan. They had some good scenes, but overall, they were just silly. After a non-spoiler recommendation, I gave it a shot, and I really really enjoyed it. Every episode was well written, well acted, and the production value was better than it should have been for a spin-off show about a character from a spin-off movie. I think the writing and dialog was the best of any Star Wars content I have ever watched. I believe the slow start is intentional and necessary to get you into the mindset of what it is like to live under the oppression of the galactic empire and the makers of this series pulled it off and then some. I can hardly wait to see more episode reactions from you. God bless yall and your growing family.

I get the feeling that Jenn is the “Average Joe” Star Wars fan. When she thinks of Star Wars the first thing that comes to mind is the Force, lightsabers, Jedi and Vader. But things like that are only a tiny fraction of what’s happening in the galaxy. Most people are living hum-drum lives, eking out a living, sometimes by the skin of their teeth, doing what they have to in order to survive with the only difference between us and them being all the different alien species, droids everywhere and an easily obtainable “pilots license”. The fate of the galaxy doesn’t necessarily lie in their hands … until it does 🤫

Don't know if they caught it (I know a lot of people missed it in the first episode) but the security isn't Imperial, it's Corporate. As long as the crime doesn't effect production they don't really care. Holden is right, the Empire would handle it... differently as we will see.

So excited for them to start this. Best Star Wars since the original triology imho. Growing up with prequels, always will have place in my heart. But just pure quality of TV and production. SO good. And yea From episode 4 its just perfect for me.

As many have noted to you already - this show is in very defined arcs. Highly recommend watching them that way. The beauty of this show is the great great writing and acting. These characters are built and defined with a depth we havent had since the OT and an adult SW that those of us that were kids then have wanted. There's room for lots of different tones in SW and I loved this series. I hope by Ep12 you'll feel similar. For me.. itt's in the debate for best SW since Empire.

Awesome guys! Andor might be a slow burn in the beginning but it burns so good as the story progresses :) yes in some ways it is like Babylon 5/The Expanse/Game of Thrones/Mass Effect if you enjoy these series. Looking forward to the rest of ur reactions! cheers and have fun

I put this series on hold because the trailer didn’t catch my attention and I hated the hype for some reason. I finally watched it a week ago and oh my god! I think it’s one of the best Star Wars material to come out in recent years. It took me until maybe episode 3 or 4 to be really invested but overall it was a great series

and fwiw, my take on Andor is that it's HBO-level TV set in the Galaxy Far Far Away but, due to the style they aimed for (the self same HBO style/The Americans spy thriller) to me at least, it lacks some of the tiny ingredients that make Star Wars Star Wars. goofiness & the general capacity not to take itself too seriously kinda thing.
and please don't get me wrong, I LOVE IT & think you both will too, it's just a bit like if your favourite pop band made a classical track, to me at least.
and I know I'm swimming against a tsunami when I'm saying this btw, and rightly so, it's *THAT* good.
      😊

Yes the pacing is difficult to get through in beginning but it’s important because the show builds the tension through out each episode and yes this is better then mando because its not member berries and it show’s different side of Star Wars we haven’t seen which I love and what real fans been wanting for awhile now

I want them to watch in arcs but I rather the reactions still be individual videos. I want to see their thoughts after each episode. Granted I'm going to watch the full reactions anyway 😂
