Good lord they making things complicated. 9 degree is mighty chilly. It's 82 here in NC. Glad you're still doing good in new shop.
Good to have more car Dr videos lately
That actually looks fairly easy.
There's another Ew Toober that does car repairs from his home. Someone came to him for help in replacing a headlight that went out. I forget but it was one of those high end imported cars. He literally had to take apart most of the body work in the front and finally gave up and told the customer to take it to the dealer. It ended up costing something like $1600 to replace a headlight!
I love my old cars.
Struth, that is a super stupid design, i bet it was a bmw lol.
They make repairs very expensive.
( Break My Wallet ) BMW :)
Why is it, engineers in the car manufacturers design something like this. Its almost like they made a headlight, then the manufacturer says let's build a car around the headlamp. Let's make it to where whoever buys our car will hafta remove the tires, fenders, bumpers, steering column, and both front doors just to get to the burnt out light bulb.
And....it will become in time a shade tree mechanic won't be able to do much at all
Glad to see you blinking more, Tim
Gret vid Tim. As always love the detail . Thanks for sharing !! Stay warm..
Short and sweet! I'll stick to my 01 Silverado headlight bulb changes 2 pins out :)
Thank you buddy I'm putting new struts on my wife's 2011 traverse her driver side light bulb is out and getting ready to replace it while I have the tire off, seems like it'll be a lot easier with it off and out of the way. Appreciate the video bud.
Yes, tire off will help some. Be sure to support the vehicle properly and be safe. Thanks for watching my vids!
Just changed the bulbs on the wife's Impala today.
Was is a similar process as here?
Mr Tim thanks for the video
Thank you This helped me out a lot 🙏🙏
Thxs Tim you are right about the high intensity lights..I stay a way from them.....
Something else to work on A .you can keep the snow ❄️ thank you for your videos Tim .
Snow is nice the first couple of times but i have to admit its already getting old and we haven't even gotten started yet. haha. You stay warm!
@@ThecardoctorTV thank s Tim

hey tim the new shop looks nice! yea more amps can burn that connector and the bulbs dont last as long too.... at least your not putting led
How’s going my good car doctor? Great diagnostic
Just replaced the one's on my wife's 2014 traverse. What a pain, just another reason I love both my 80's 84 grand prix and 86 dodge ram. Can change any of the lights out in like 5 minutes.
Do you have a video on how to change out the fog lights on a 2016 Traverse I have a busted fog light that I need to replace.
Woah Tim! Where have you been, fishing? Nice to see you again.
A little tip. Turn on the lights before you close everything back up just incase the new bulb is busted or isnt plugged in all the way.
Hi tim i watched your video on the P06DD code, i have a 2011 jeep grand cherokee 3.6L and when i try to accelerate at 3k RPMS i lose all power and have to let the rpms drop below 2500 to then accelerate again, the code read engine oil pressure sensor switched off, i replaced the sensor and the code is still popping up, any recommendations?
Whats your actual oil pressure?
Where is your shop located at in Anchorage?
There's ...... Probably....ordeals in Anchorage.....that are....MIND BLOWING......and or.... enough to make a person want to ......live there too..........ect.
my 14 Enclave has hid headlights. The ballast went out and they wanted over $400 for a new one. The days of cheap repairs are over.
how lame. I really dont care for that style although they sure put off some light. I almost hit a couple moose the other night in the middle of the road that I didnt see till it was almost too late. IM thinking of a light bar or something for safety sake.
Hey Dumbo.. What size of light bulb did you replace.. thanks
9012 I believe.
Wow there's more room in there than the room to change the water pump on those cars
Are you still open for business in Anchorage
Yes!
@@ThecardoctorTV I would like to get on your calendar. Can you please post your business information.

Ball freezing temp
T20 is the big size on the wife's traverse
I could never do it! Single digit temps are NOT fun. Waiting a day or two to warm up and dry out a vehicle is no fun either. EVAP systems must be a nightmare!
Oh its not bad. It’s actually better if you can fix the vehicle before it begins to thaw and drip on your head.
Thanks buddy for the video. You good.
Hmm i thought the alternator was kicking out more voltage than normal.
Unless the computer is controlling the alternator and thats very reliable lol :)
Ok cheap shit bulbs lol.
Just as bad as the Avalanche bulb replacement. Taking something that should be simple to do, and making it an ordeal. Get a quote on a bulb replacement, it should be a few hundred bucks because of the labour involved
Oh my.... GOD
Good vehicle to own....call your boss telling why your not at work
