I seriously love your videos!!! I went through 2 miscarriages this past year in a period of 3 months and it was sooo difficult. I am now 31 weeks pregnant and it was really hard to let myself be happy after having those miscarriages so I totally get what you must be feeling right now! my heart goes out to you and I just wanted to let you know how much your openness and knowledge has helped me and continues to help! Thank you!!!
So sorry about your miscarriages, and so happy that this baby has made it so far! I pray that you will have a safe and healthy delivery and give birth to a beautiful, healthy baby. God’s plan are always the best💙💙💙
Exactly the same here! Except I'm just 12 weeks now. Everything looks good, but I'm still very worried and trying to be optimistic but it's difficult So sorry for your losses, I know how much it hurts. I hope you and your baby are happy and healthy 💕
Wow! Congrats mama! That's got to be so amazing (Overwhelming too I'm sure) Have you heard of this insta/youtuber named Jess Hover? I really enjoy her She talks mom life in a real and honest way and that is definitely comforting.
I completely get it when you say you're worried- I'm currently 18 weeks (tomorrow) and we waited until I was well over 15 weeks to tell people because I was so afraid something was wrong since I have felt perfectly fine. I can't begin to tell you how many people had to comment on how far along I am before we said anything. Seriously people I just didn't want to be excited we are pregnant and then tell people that we've lost it❤️
Glad to hear...well not glad...but my house became a disaster in the first trimester. Dirty is an accurate word..dishes not getting done..no vacuuming or cleaning..did I wear the same pants for 4 days in a row because I didn't do laundry again? Well yes, yes I did. I also have a marginal cord insertion so I have 2 additional ultrasounds to monitor growth!
I would normally mop and sweep every two days... miracle if I swept the house in one day. Poor husband had to do everything. And when I cooked, it was terrible 🤮🤮
I hated my 1st trimester. All i wanted to do was nap and regret later on that no house hold chores done and on the top hated most foods and had bitter taste in my mouth.
Loads of love all the way from Zambia. I have a three month old baby and your videos I watched religiously. They gave me great comfort. I wish you well in this journey. 😘🇿🇲
I just wanted to share my experience in case it's helpful to anyone. I felt like Nurse Zabe during my last pregnancy. I didn't want to bond with the baby for fear of something going wrong. When I did end up losing him at 18 weeks, I instantly fell in love with that little guy the moment I saw him. I really regret not taking the time to bond with him during the time that we had together. I'm not sharing this to give advice, I know everyone is different, but that's how it was for me.
My friend is like that, she was scared of losing her baby the entire time and just felt miserable. She was in such a negative mind space. Her labor wasn’t the best either. And I feel like your body goes where your mind does. My encouragement is to stay positive. It’s normal to be anxious. I miscarried with my first and we told everyone right away and I don’t regret it, because it was still life. I still loved that baby and knew I would. I hate how we feel like we can’t count life until we reach a certain week in pregnancy. We are allowed to love those babies as much as we want. The way I look at it, you can’t predict when or if something is going to happen, whether that’s a few weeks or a few years. If we wait to be happy or wait to have peace till we reach certain stages, we will never truly live in the moment. This comment isn’t for you, it’s to encourage other women too who have felt this way.
I’m 36 weeks with my first and we don’t know the sex! Love having an extra surprise to look forward to. I found the first trimester to really drag on slowly due to not feeling 100% and the isolation of waiting to tell people. I was nearly bursting wanting to share the news. These last several weeks however, have flown by! Love any content you post, even if the frequency has slowed. We understand! Your postpartum care video came at a great time for me personally as I shop and mentally prepare for L&D and postpartum very soon.
My OB does an 8, 20, and 36 week scan. The 36 may seem unnecessary but with my second, it showed that the baby was measuring HUGE. We planned a c section because of this and I'm so glad because he was ten and a half pounds at birth and she said there was no way he would have fit out of my pelvis!
Congrats nurse Zabe and to all the mama’s here! I just had my first 5 weeks ago and have learned so much about pregnancy and pumping through this channel. I’m trying to be more kind to myself about post my c section body/belly and it’s definitely a hard mentality to maintain but I’ll get through it 💙
Wow , I needed this video so bad . Thank you!!! I am 10w3d and I have not been myself AT ALL. I act crazy, I scare myself and others with my reactions , I feel like hell , always nauseous and all smells and foods make me sick. I feel disgusting physically and mentally. Thank you for make making me feel normal . This is my first baby .
Just found out I'm pregnant with our first! No confirmation appointment. Don't go in until 8 weeks. I'm excited but really nervous because I feel like I have no clue what to do. Reading a lot online and using Baby Center and What to Expect apps.
My first little one we waited and it was such a fun surprise though it frustrated my MIL because she was dying to know haha I am pregnant again and we found out because I felt it would be easier for my oldest to call the baby by name 🥰
I clicked so fast! I'm a prenatal genetic counselor and enjoy hearing about people's experiences with the NT scan/genetic screening. I love all of your videos, thank you for doing what you do and I'm glad you're feeling better.
I am 22 weeks 5 days with my second child and I have an anterior placenta. I was so sad about movements being different but I must say, I felt baby around 15 weeks but consistently started feeling baby around 20 weeks and I feel a lot now. The greatest difference is I feel baby down very low instead of in the front but I have been pleasantly surprised how much I’ve been feeling. I hope you continue to feel better and everything goes well for you! Thanks for all your videos, they’ve been helpful!
Would love if you did a video on subchorionic hematoma especially during the 1st trimester! Currently on my first pregnancy & doctors did very little to explain what it meant & what I should expect etc. Thanks for all the help! ☺️
I found your videos when I got pregnant with my first this fall. Now it turns out we've both been pregnant this whole time! I'm due June 6th! Thanks for sharing your experiences, and helping me feel connected, and "normal"!
I’m at 27 weeks right now. And the exhaustion this whole pregnancy has COMPLETELY caught me off guard. It is my first pregnancy and I was not prepared for how different I feel. So I’ve been working HARD on giving myself grace this whole time. Stay strong momma!! ❤️❤️
Love your videos, here from your hypothyroid videos! Suffered from secondary infertility issues for 12 years, in the UK GP’s don’t send you for tests etc and IVF is incredibly expensive. Just nice to see hypothyroid issues don’t hinder pregnancies once controlled. Wish you a happy healthy pregnancy
I just feel so blessed to have someone going through a birth story so similar to mine. One of the only things that makes me not feel alone and feel understood ❤️
We didn't find out with our first born 9 weeks ago and it was the best decision we ever made. I asked that my husband be the one to tell me when baby came out and seeing his face when she came and and him telling me 'I think it's a girl' I will always treasure this moment 😍
We didn't find out with our first either, and when he was born the midwives passed him to me excitedly asking "What have you got! What have you got!?" And that moment where I got to look at my son and shout "It's a boy!" Was the highlight of giving birth. It's been 3.5 years and I still get goose bumps when I think about it.
After having two miscarriages, it was hard to feel secure in my third pregnancy. My mom, who had had EIGHT miscarriages would always remind me that every miserable pregnancy symptom was a great sign that the baby was still healthy and growing. Thank you for sharing how you're feeling! I'm sorry you've experienced the same loss, but wonderful to know that you're not alone and have a whole community of mamas who can relate and lift you up.
So glad to hear you are feeling better and trying not to be too hard on yourself through the 1st trimester. I am 27 weeks along with my first baby (we are having a girl but we wanted to find out because my husband is deploying around the due date and might not be there for the birth unfortunately). Stay strong and don't find out!!! 🥰😍
I had an anterior placenta during my first pregnancy, and although it took me a while to feel my baby's movements, once I felt them, the feeling was very reassuring every time. I could see her movements once she was bigger, too. You've got this, nurse Zabe! Praying for you and your little one!
I love watching all of your videos! My husband and I have been TTC for right at a year and I feel super informed and prepared for when we do finally get our positive. We go to see my OB next week. Fingers crossed! Thank you for making such awesome videos! Congratulations on your sweet baby!
I’m watching this late but I relate to this so much ... I was 20 and had a miscarriage and didn’t trust my body ..Just before I turned 21 in January I found out I was Nine weeks pregnant, Had a lot of horrible acne since the first miscarriage and weight gain and felt terrible about myself but now I am 17 weeks and three days today and I’m very happy and things are looking better YOUR AMAZING 🤩 can’t wait to see the baby sooon
In the UK, we typically get 2 scans, free with our national health service. The dating scan is at 12 weeks, which is also when they look at nuchal translucency. At my dating scan I found out that my estimated pregnancy dates were also 4 days later than what was predicted, but the difference is that my due date was actually amended to reflect this. The Anatomy/Anomaly scan is at 20 weeks, when some people also choose to find out the sex of baby. We did choose to find out, but only my partner and I know, we haven't told anyone else. This is our first baby so we were too excited to wait... But totally support your decision to wait for the surprise (stay strong mama). Growth scans are offered later on if they're worried about growth rates or if you have an existing condition that makes things more complicated. I have a slightly higher than normal BMI which makes predicting baby's growth from fundal measurements more tricky, so I have regular growth scans to keep track of baby's growth rate. The silver lining is that I get to see baby more often. Currently 32 weeks and going for a growth scan next week. My partner and I also went for a private scan (that wasn't with the NHS) at 26 weeks, as it was the only way my partner could come along to a scan and see his first child in utero. He hasn't been able to come with me to any appointments so far this pregnancy due to the current global situation, which sucks but is understandable for health and safety reasons. But that scan was amazing as we both got to see our baby in 4d glory, and came away with some awesome squishy 3d images. 🙂
Didn't realise how long this comment was until I posted it! Oops! Also forgot to mention I have a fundal posterior placenta, which means I'm feeling plenty of kicks and seeing my belly move around like something from a sci-fi movie! 😝
I have been watching your videos since we first started trying. I’m now 15 weeks with our first child, a little boy ❤️. I’m so excited to be going through this journey with you. I’m due June 9th and measuring about 4 days ahead
Awww congratulations i found your channel today 12/27. Im 18 weeks. I wish i had found you during my first 2 pregnancies but im happy we are sharing this journey together. My 3rd child. You're beautiful i love you already
Same! I'm almost 6 months PP and I'm starting to think about having a second, but I want to wait for it to be safe for me and baby! I've heard anywhere from 6 months to 3 years🤷🏼♀️I'd love a video on this topic too!
We had twins first a boy and a girl. They’re an hour apart lol! But they were spontaneous twins. Our plan was at least four years apart. They are now 7.5 and we’re expecting a baby girl in feb. I think any spacing is good bc it depends on how you’re dealing with life as a parent and couple and also the current child your raising. Sometimes temperaments need less space and others a whole lot more but you don’t know until you’re in it. Really what lever feels right for you guys.
We had our kids 5 years apart. Son is 10, daughter will be 5 shortly after our current baby is due! It's great for us because they are old enough to get the concept that there will be a new fragile baby and they understand that mom and dad will need to spend a little more time on the baby. And only one child in diapers 😁 But a lot of my friends have had kids very close (1-2 years apart) and it's nice to have the children so close in age and have someone who has similar interests! (Though my 4 and 10 year old find plenty to do together 😁)
@@cittylivelovedance wait for it! I’m 9 months pp and 31 weeks pregnant and I’m so tired😭I know everyone is different, but if you can, allow your body to heal and give your baby as much attention as you can before trying 💜 and catch up on as much sleep as you can! Lol
Congratulations on your pregnancy! I fell pregnant last Summer and had a beautiful, healthy daughter in April. This was my first pregnancy and I was so scared something would go badly the whole time. I had an anterior placenta as well and I felt movement from 16 weeks and my husband felt her at 21 weeks. Her movements were so strong! I can't compare it to a posterior placenta of course :-) I wish you a happy and healthy pregnancy and delivery ❤️
So happy for you! Your videos are so amazing and educational. I’m trying to get pregnant and you’ve have helped me figure out how I want my labor to go. Thank you ❤️ Hoping for the best for you and your family.
I am in the same boat as you. I had a chemical miscarriage a couple months before this pregnancy. I've only recently started having a relief in anxiety. I am 25 weeks 2 days. I also have an anterior placenta this time. It was so hard not feeling the same way when the baby would move. At first, the movements just felt like a tiny potato was rolling around in my lower abdomen. This is my 4th pregnancy, and will be my 2nd baby. I'm having quite a few braxton hicks that are quote painful, so im having to keep an eye out in case they start dilating my cervix. But as of today's Dr appointment, my cervix is closed.♡ Also, your video explaining what happens to our hormones during labor helped me learn to calm down during my pelvic exam. I have pelvic floor dysfunction and I normally cry during exams. I didn't today! Thank you so much for all of your knowledgeable advice!
My recent pregnancy also had my placenta in the front of my uterus, and I’ve never had any other pregnancy, but I could still feel my baby boy moving just fine, so hopefully that will help you try not to be so stressed about it. I’m happy for you ❤️
Expecting my 5th with the same EDD as you!! And aiming for my 5th gender surprise. It's the best! With most of mine I've only had 2 US (dating and 20 week) with most of my previous pregnancies . One I had a follow up at 30 weeks to make sure my partial placenta previa had moved up. The other I had GD and was on insulin so had a NST weekly for a few weeks and that included a quick US as well This pregnancy my dr has been using her in office ultrasound machine instead of a doppler. Not sure why but not complaining. But it's super quick for just a minute nothing in depth. And I also get the uncertainty after a miss. I've had 6 of those to date (a few chemica, a few a little later) makes the whole experience so much more nerve wracking. I feel tons better once theres movement.
I just had my 3rd on Oct. 9th and it was a surprise gender! It was SOOOO fun! The doctor and nurses were SOOO excited, too! Stay strong! It’s so worth it!
I'm so glad to see an update! I had 2 missed miscarriages in 2019 so I get the anxiety! I'm not 20 weeks pregnant and just in the last few weeks have been feeling more excited and like *maybe* it'll happen. Though the fear won't go away fully until I'm holding that babe in my arms! Also, I had an anterior placenta with my daughter (first on only child so far) and I still felt flutters at 15.5 weeks and strong kicks a few weeks later. So you will likely still feel a decent amount, just not as much as before. Praying for a healthy pregnancy for you and your babe!
Yeah, I think with the anterior placenta it really matters where the placenta is in regards to how much you feel. I think maybe I’ve felt baby, but also maybe it was gas. 😂
I am only 2 minutes in but I am so grateful you’re honest! I’m coming to the end of my 1st trimester and am barely getting the energy to finally really CLEAN again. Our house was such a mess! :(. Thanks for being real.
My due date was changed when my first 2 ultrasounds showed baby 4 days behind. Due date from LMP is 3/27. Due date from ultrasound is 3/31. I also have to see a specialist because of “advanced maternal age” 🙄 but I do get a lot of ultrasounds and I get to see baby at least once a month plus my regular OB appointments. I’m currently 25+3 and I love your videos.
At both practices I’ve been to they won’t change the due date unless it’s a 2 week difference. According to my baby’s current size she’s supposed to be born about a week before my due date. I wish it were true because it would make her a Valentine’s Day baby ☺️ It must just vary by provider/practice 🤷🏻♀️
I had a frontal placenta with all my babies so far (not sure about number 4 yet) but I have to say it stinks at first but in the long run I liked it. Once the baby gets super strong having an extra layer on the front is nice haha. Also stay strong!!! After having miscarriages we didn’t find out for baby 3 and it was completely worth it! Once you get passed the 20 week scan it gets so much easier. I can also empathize on the guarding your heart aspect. When we were trying for baby 3 we suffered a missed miscarriage and a spontaneous miscarriage. It for sure sucked the joy out of the next pregnancies. Every day/week/month the anxiety decreased and the excitement came in. I’m a few weeks behind you with baby 4. Still have anxiety and still not finding out this time either lol Can’t wait to be on this journey with you.
Anxiety is so normal with everything you have been through! You are doing your best and that is all that is required right now! I'm actually due June 3rd :) and my doctor does 5 ultrasounds! (Insurance only pays for 3) Your channel has been so helpful for me and I hope to see more updates (when you feel like posting them)! :)
I had an anterior placenta my last pregnancy 12/2019 also a marginal cord insertion I had absolutely no issues but the plus side was I got to get even more ultrasounds to make sure he was growing good! Congratulations again I’m so happy for you we are very close in due dates I’m 19 weeks now with my 3rd!! son and I’m due May 23rd.
When it comes to finger pricks: it's incorrect to prick the index fingers - if anything happens that leads to people going blind and having to read braille, they will need the sensitivity of those fingers. Also: do NOT prick the middle - you're supposed to do it off to the side, both because it's cleaner, less painful and easier to draw blood from
I had my right ovary removed in september b/c it had a borderline tumor. It put my ferility journey on hold. I have pcos and was supposed to start Femora next week, but I took a pregnancy test last night and it was positive!!!! On Christmas eve I was exactly 4 weeks! Love your videos!
I have an anterior placenta. I felt her move around 16 weeks but it wasn’t extremely obvious until 20 weeks and at that point my husband could feel her also. I mostly feel little bumps and gentle thuds. I’m 30 weeks now and I still get so nervous if I don’t feel her for awhile even though I know the placenta is muffling a lot. This is our first baby but we had 3 miscarriages beforehand. I can relate to the feeling of guarding your heart. I’m sure a lot of women can and it’s something we don’t talk about enough. Congratulations on your little bean, sending lots of positive energy!
I was so surprised with my 2nd to find out how few ultrasounds you actually get in a "normal" pregnancy. My first had a 2 vessel cord so i was referred to a high risk doctor to be on the safe side and i had an ultrasound every 2-4 weeks. Just goes to show ya how each pregnancy is so different. Love all your videos! Cant wait for more of the postpartum series as im 6 weeks out from my due date of baby #3.
Thanks for much for all your videos- as an anxious first time mum to be I’ve been binging your videos to help me prepare for labour/postpartum in April!
Congrats. Can you talk about the differences in other places? I'm Canadian and always thought the standard birth was hospital with an epidural but I had my baby in the UK. I used a TENs machine at the start of labour, had a water birth and only had gas and air. I never realised how much standard births differ from place to place.
I had an anterior placenta with my first but I was still able to feel her move at 15 weeks. Unfortunately, it did make it very hard for my husband to feel her move for the entire pregnancy. Hoping it will be different for this pregnancy.
I am SO excited to be following along with your pregnancy. I’m about a month behind you, due June 27th. ☺️ I’ve been trying to get information on what baby items are ok to buy used and what needs to be bought new. I would love your perspective on that. I’ve found some really great items on Facebook Marketplace. The only thing I’m sure of is that I’ll be getting a stroller/car seat travel system new. Thank you and congratulations!
I have an anterior placenta too, and I barely feel movements even though my baby is apparently extremely mobile. I'm now 24 weeks pregnant, and I'm hoping that my husband will be able to feel the kicking later on in the pregnancy. It's my first ever pregnancy, and I don't even feel pregnant
I am also anterior but with my second. I am feeling movements but they are off to the sides of my stomach or down low. Not how I experienced with my first. It certainly makes a big difference!
I just want to say that I love your videos so much! I’m a first time mom(currently 15wks)I don’t even live in the US but I’ve saved almost all your vids because they’re so informative and not too cluttered so I don’t feel overwhelmed. Thank you!!! Omg, our due date is almost the same! I’m June 6th thereabouts. 🥰🥰🥰🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Miserable and nauseated and throwing up their entire pregnancy -I finally stopped throwing up (with the help of medication) at 16 weeks, but the nausea and dry heaving is still here at 27 weeks! I’m glad you’re starting to feel better, it’s the worst to feel so crappy day in and day out.
I had an anterior placenta with my now 5 year old (3rd baby) and it took a little longer to start feeling him move but once I started feeling him I didn't notice any difference in his movements and what I felt with my other 2. 😊 I still felt all the movements and saw all the movements. Hopefully it will be the same for you. 😊
I'm a little late to this video but I'm currently 33 weeks with baby number 3 and due end of April and I also have a anterior placenta and have been more worried with this one as well and I also had a chemical pregnancy right before this pregnancy. Haha love your videos! I've been watching a bunch and has helped me with my pregnancy.
Im in my second pregnancy at 24 weeks, and also have an anterior placenta. Im still able to feel baby move all of the time. I felt her first move at 17 weeks!
I was going to say that too. I'm also about 24 weeks. My placenta is anterior, but mostly to my left, so easily felt on the right. I have felt movement since 17-18 weeks. And now the kicks can be felt from outside my belly! Now it's just getting her to cooperate and kick when we want ;)
Thank you for sharing. I'm due May 1st. My placenta is anterior. I feel baby moving on my side and lower belly, and push on my cervix. This is my 5th baby (8th pregnancy) & I understand your anxiety about protecting your heart for more loss... I was pretty nauseous in the beginning so grateful by wk 14 it was gone. I never did the 12wk neuchal scan until this baby. I'm older & want to know if things are okay. We're excited that the baby is doing well and it feels surreal.
I had an anterior placenta, it was my first pregnancy so I didn’t have anything to go off on. But I believe I started feeling movement here and there around 14/15 weeks (only once and awhile) and then right around 20 weeks I felt him move way more and it increased from there!! And I did feel movement in the front of my belly as well as by my ribs, down low! Maybe it’s different with person to person, but I feel like I felt lots of movement despite the anterior placenta! Also good for you guys not finding out!! We didn’t find out and it was so magical!!! We ended up having a boy!! 💙
I am 11 weeks pregnant with hyperemesis and post gastric bypass surgery and feeling absolutely miserable. Moved two month ago and still havent unpacked 😰😰😰😰
Stay STRONG! DONT find out the gender!!! We didnt find out w.our 3rd, and now the same w.our 4th! (29wks🤰🏾) Its was a completely different experience in all the best ways when everyone in the room is excited to find out! It changes the entire vibe of the staff too😁🤗
This is our 3rd baby and last pregnancy. I'm also always cautiously optimistic, always waiting for the other shoe to drop. I also have an anterior placenta this time around, but I did start feeling movement early, just on the sides at first, like little pokes. Now I'm 31w5d and he moves like crazy. I feel movement all the time, including in the front area, so I'm really happy about that. With my first 2 babies I had an early ultrasound, the 12w NT scan, one at 20 weeks, then one at the 3rd trimester because my belly would drop and that would show lower amniotic fluid. This time around I didn't have the 12w scan, just genetic testing, but I've had so far 4 ultrasounds and will continue to have them. I think it's because of my pprom history and other little issues, but I'm always glad to see my little boy growing. Now, this pregnancy has been the worst by far. First trimester was tough, then I started getting Makena shots, which make me a little sick every week, and I'm having horrible round ligament pain, to the point that I can barely walk most days and have to rest a lot. It's hard, since my little ones are 2 and 4, so they really need me. Plus, I'm homeschooling, or attempting to, at least. So, yeah, I'll be glad to be done with this pregnancy and be able to be a normal person again. If you have any tips on pprom or round ligament pain I'd love to see videos on those topics.
33 weeks and my placenta is anterior and I’ve felt/seen baby boy move from around 22 weeks on. trust me, you’ll still feel and see baby plenty, it’ll probably just be a little bit later :) best of luck
You're adorable. I love you. I watched you soooo much while I was pregnant in 2020 and will watch you again when I get knocked up in 2021. Happy for your new baby. You have inspired me to wait to find out the gender of baby #3 until birth.
Girl! I had baby #6 recently and it’s ALL about giving yourself grace!!!! 🙌🏻 PS- I am an IBCLC & just started a new RUclips channel with weekly evidence based lactation videos.
25+4 into my first pregnancy. Definitely feeling the abs having given up lately. Extracting myself from the couch is becoming fun. My placenta is also anterior, and I didn’t feel her until 20ish weeks. Now I feel her, but it’s nothing strong and always on the sides. I hear by 28 the feelings should be much stronger regardless of my anterior placenta. Have fun with your second trimester energy!
I didn’t find out the sex and no regrets. I did have a strong feeling and was right! I just love your videos. Watching was the funnest part of my pregnancy.
I know you are now a month further along in your pregnancy. Are you feeling movement yet? I am pregnant with baby #2 and have had an anterior placenta with both. I have nothing to compare it to but I have felt movement early and often with both babies. Hope you do too!
So glad you are starting to feel better! I have kaiser and for me they did 4 ultrasounds. Around 7-9 weeks to date, around like 11 weeks to confirm pregnancy looked healthy still, anatomy scan at 20-22 weeks ish and at 36 weeks to confirm head down. I also went to a outside place and had a 3d/4d scan at like 34 weeks which was so cool! I also had an anterior placenta this time too
At my doctor's office they do the dating ultrasound (mine was at 8 weeks), anatomy scan at 20 weeks, and a 32 week scan. Congratulations on baby. I am pregnant with our first. I also have an anterior placenta. I started feeling movement I believe in my 23rd week. I am 29 weeks today.
I had an anterior placenta with 3/4 of mine and didn't have any issues with not being able to feel movement. Both pregnancies that had a low lying placenta in addition to being anterior resulted in an OP baby during labor, though (horrible back pain!). My first was so super tiny that it didn't really matter, but my fourth was closer to average and he just was not going to fit through my pelvis face up. His head had so much caput. I never got past 4 cm and I had an emergency c-section because he was in distress. So anything you can do to try and encourage a good fetal position for labor may be helpful, although a lot of the time it is what it is and you can't change it.
I am 18 weeks 5 days, I have had 3 ultrasounds due to a couple issues I have the 20 week coming up soon. I love getting to see our little one growing and developing more each time.
Not sure if you plan on talking about postpartum rage or psychosis in your next video but id love to hear your take, especially since my doctor made it seem like it was uncommon and didn't give me the information I wanted! Also sending you and your family love!!
Congrats Elizabeth! I'm on baby #1 and boy...I don't know how you are at #3. I keep saying this baby [with sleep being ... not so much for him], 'gunning to be an only child' -- you give me hope that maybe I'll be able to do it again! all the best to you and your growing fam! xoxo
@@Nurse_zabe hehe! Everyone says this! I hear the 'once you get a solid amount of sleep for a little while, you soon forget what it was like at the beginning' - oh boy! It is lovely though, best job even if it's tough. I feel like I already miss him being small as he's five months already. :( And you have the doctor's family so one more is a nice bonus since you already have each flavor! :)
So happy for you! I am on my 3rd as well. 15w2d and I am one of those miserable pukey people. Tried it all. Reglan currently to help digestion but I am still puking quite a bit. I feel the same about my whole house. Like I can't function or do anything and it is bringing me an insane amount of guilt! I try to give myself allllllll the Grace but it's been so hard. Can't wait for the next update on baby.
Definitely don't feel bad about feeling like crap! I'm 32 weeks and was miserable my whole 1st trimester, and it was all I could do to take care of my toddler. Hopefully you'll feel better soon!
2nd baby and not finding out the gender and we are so excited!! Our office does 3 ultrasounds as well, one for dating, one for gender, and then one around 36 weeks to see if the baby is head down
Love your channel, not even pregnant. Could you maybe do a video on placentas? On my last pregnancy i was diagnosed with vasa previa /valementous cord insertion (bilobe placenta). Had to have csection at 35 weeks due to the risk at end of pregnancy. When the doctors opened me up they were shocked by how my placenta/cord was barely hanging on. I still dont really understand the concept could you do a video on it?
1st trimester exhaustion is NO joke! Currently 30 Weeks and also Team Green! 💚Just to give a perspective on additional ultrasounds, as I recently turned the (dreaded) 35 🙈 I will have weekly ultrasounds starting at 36 weeks, even though everything is "normal". Previously I had the same 8, 12 and 20 week scans.
I will be 21 weeks tomorrow with my first (second pregnancy after a miscarriage in April) and I still feel overwhelming amounts of fear at times. I just had my anatomy scan last week and thought it would help with a lot of the anxiety and it honestly made it worse. He’s measuring very small (13th percentile) and 5 days behind. My midwife isn’t concerned about it at all but I’m SUCH a worrywart and can’t stop thinking about it. They also gave me a disc of all of the pictures and readings for my husband to see since he couldn’t come with me, and of course I looked up every number and found that his cerebellum was measuring 6 weeks behind. I don’t know if it was a bad image or if my OB missed it when she reviewed everything but it has been eating away at me all weekend. I’m trying not to worry about it since my midwife said she wasn’t concerned with anything she saw. My sonographer also unfortunately didn’t have the greatest bedside manner and was not informative whatsoever about where things were on the screen and what I was looking at so I have been pretty torn up over all of this. I see my midwife again Jan 4th so I think I’ll bring it up then for some peace of mind but man this baby anxiety is so real.
Hi nurse Zabe, I found out I was pregnant last Dec. 27, 2020 and wasn't really believe I'm pregnant so I tried to test again by Dec. 28-29 and it turned out positive still. But I just can't believe it, I had a blighted ovum last Nov. 2019 so I was kinda worried. Can you advice me when can I have my 1st ultrasound, my LMP was Nov. 12,2020.
I know this is a very personal question you may not want to share with the world, but I was wondering if you are going to get the covid vaccine while pregnant. I’m breastfeeding & can’t decide! & I dont plan on stopping breastfeeding before getting pregnant again either
I love your videos! I just had my NT scan 2 days ago. So far so good. My house is SUCH a mess, thanfully due to COVID no one can come over and see the mess lol
I am currently 25 weeks with our rainbow baby (who happeneds to be a girl) and my first baby. I ended up having a chemical pregnancy as well about may 25th of this year and found out I was pregnant with this little amazingly strong girl July 23 2020. Im so excited and blessed to be having her. She's due March 30 of 2021 so our babys are 2 months apart so far lol
So funny you said 2 things I have said. 1. I have an anterior placenta and I was worried about movement. I felt kicks/taps on my hip at 17+3 so there is hope! Now 32 weeks I am feeling a lot, so it gets better, I was worried also. 2. I feel like the pictures aren't the best and I swear it has to be because of the anterior placenta! I'm so sad because I feel like the pictures are grainy and just not as super clear! Congrats again and I hope you continue to improve and feel better!
So so sorry about your miscarriages, I can only imagine how painful they were. Congrats on this new one though, all the best!! 🥰
Exactly the same here! Except I'm just 12 weeks now. Everything looks good, but I'm still very worried and trying to be optimistic but it's difficult
So sorry for your losses, I know how much it hurts. I hope you and your baby are happy and healthy 💕
@@ashh970 yes we found out at 20 weeks! our baby girl is now 3 months old!!!
@@JigokuCho im so happy for you! hope all continues to go well!!! miscarriage is seriously so hard!
i recently found out i was having twins (aka my first babies) and would LOVE a video on that
Wow! Congrats mama!
That's got to be so amazing
(Overwhelming too I'm sure)
Have you heard of this insta/youtuber named Jess Hover?
I really enjoy her
She talks mom life in a real and honest way and that is definitely comforting.

@@illiah9784 i'll check her out!!
hey, same here! 😁 good luck on your journey 💖
Me too! I would love a video on twin pregnancies!
Seriously people I just didn't want to be excited we are pregnant and then tell people that we've lost it❤️
Twins! Im due May 20th 2021 💖🥰
@@candyluna2929
Same happening in our house😎 no worries we are on the same league🙏🏻 God bless
I hated my 1st trimester. All i wanted to do was nap and regret later on that no house hold chores done and on the top hated most foods and had bitter taste in my mouth.
Why is this exactly me? Including well into my 2nd trimester too!
Stay strong on the surprise! I’m 37 weeks and haven’t found out and we’re so excited for the surprise of it! ❤️
My first little one we waited and it was such a fun surprise though it frustrated my MIL because she was dying to know haha I am pregnant again and we found out because I felt it would be easier for my oldest to call the baby by name 🥰
Won’t ever have kids myself but I love your channel. Congrats on the new baby. ❤️
I clicked so fast! I'm a prenatal genetic counselor and enjoy hearing about people's experiences with the NT scan/genetic screening. I love all of your videos, thank you for doing what you do and I'm glad you're feeling better.
I don't know how you do it! I had to a see a genetic counselor after finding out I carry a rare genetic condition and you guys are so knowledgable.
I’m a week ahead of you, I’m due May 24th with my first! Love your videos! They are really helping me become mentally prepared for delivery.
Congrats!💕 I have my first ultrasound appointment tomorrow and I’m so nervous. Love you videos!!
How exciting! Congrats!!
Hello!! I am due June 10th. Congrats. We are expecting baby #10.
Awww congratulations i found your channel today 12/27. Im 18 weeks. I wish i had found you during my first 2 pregnancies but im happy we are sharing this journey together. My 3rd child. You're beautiful i love you already
I’d be interested in a video regarding pregnancy spacing. I read and get varying recommendations between 12 months - 2years. Thank you!
And only one child in diapers 😁
But a lot of my friends have had kids very close (1-2 years apart) and it's nice to have the children so close in age and have someone who has similar interests!
You look amazing!! I hope the rest of your pregnancy goes well!! You will have lots of time to clean up & catch up on everything!
So happy for you! Your videos are so amazing and educational. I’m trying to get pregnant and you’ve have helped me figure out how I want my labor to go. Thank you ❤️ Hoping for the best for you and your family.
I’ve needed this. I’ve had 2 already within a year and I’m just taking things day by day rn
The other I had GD and was on insulin so had a NST weekly for a few weeks and that included a quick US as well
This pregnancy my dr has been using her in office ultrasound machine instead of a doppler.
Congrats! Maybe the 7 day policy is just my practice, but that’s what it’s been for all my babies. 😊
I'm not pregnant but watch all the videos for your wisdom in general. So glad you are feeling better
Congratulations on your new baby! Wishing you a healthy & happy pregnancy!
Congrats! I’m having a baby in April. Happy to be following you along!!!!
Im very lucky that my OB does a quick scan every time i go in for an appointment 🥰
I’ve had 4 scans and I’m 24w tomorrow! Idk why my drs office does so many. I didn’t have this many with my daughter.
Love love LOVE watching your more personal videos not just the fact ones. You’re so fun and interesting so I love these videos. Congrats 🎊🤍
I am 20 weeks and I haven't felt the baby move yet. I also have anterior placenta.. waiting patiently :-) I am excited!
What great timing! I am having my NT scan next week and super nervous. This information helped a lot.
Awe mama you're looking great! Glad to here the nausea has subsided for you ❤️ so excited for you guys.
PS- I am an IBCLC & just started a new RUclips channel with weekly evidence based lactation videos.
I keep saying this baby [with sleep being ... not so much for him], 'gunning to be an only child' -- you give me hope that maybe I'll be able to do it again! all the best to you and your growing fam! xoxo
Having 1 is totally fine, of course, but I always find myself forgetting a lot of the sleep deprivation when we talk about having another 😂🤦🏼♀️
@@Nurse_zabe hehe!
Our office does 3 ultrasounds as well, one for dating, one for gender, and then one around 36 weeks to see if the baby is head down
We can be strong together!!
I really love your videos! I am currently 21 weeks pregnant with my 2nd ❤
I'm just over six weeks pregnant and can't wait to get an ultrasound. Probably won't be able to until 12 weeks which I'm kind of frustrated about 😅
Here in Australia you get your first scan between 5 and 8 weeks. I have mine scheduled for the day before Christmas and I'm so excited for it 💛
@@nicola6234 lucky! I'm jealous! Lol. Usually it's 8-9 weeks but I guess with holidays and covid they're busy.
I know this is a very personal question you may not want to share with the world, but I was wondering if you are going to get the covid vaccine while pregnant. I’m breastfeeding & can’t decide! & I dont plan on stopping breastfeeding before getting pregnant again either
My house is also a mess, I'm in my early first trimester and my bf is over the road all week. I'm just too tired most of the time.
