So air is an insulator, a poor conductor of thermal energy (0.024 no units) ; it also - apart for the GHGs - does not radiate IR heat - at any temperature. Then how is it we have weather, air movement at all? This is a paradox, if not a contradiction that demands explanation. It doesn't add up.
Fun thought. If light from the sun goes straight through air, and if air is a poor conductor of thermal energy, how does the air heat up? Weather doesn't happen without hot and cold air. Students out there, any thoughts?
lmao this is why I don't think Arizonans would be able to survive a winter in Colorado (below freezing is just a "welp. now we can't go outside for recess." and our average temp is 45 degrees while yours is in the 60s)
This helps me with my homework 📚
thanks this helped me with school work
