What do you think of the Logitech BRIO 100 series? Did you like seeing the silent install commands for distributing the Logi Tune MSI? I like this webcam at $40, but do think the Lenovo Essential FHD camera for around $30 is slightly better. This one works with Logi Tune though.
Hey Jeremy a got this Cam this Week iz wherry Nice Small and Good Quality , but it has one little Problem on Windows 8.1 64 Bit it Uses the UVC driver from Ms and its from 2006 . This Driver only works great with Brio 100 whenn you Deactivate Fastboot on Windows . The Question where are the LOGITECH propetary Drivers for this Web Cam , on the logitech site they have only tune and capture soft but i need the Drivers thaks for Info
Go the extra 20 bucks and get the C900 series. The Brio is garbage no matter the amount of lighting and setting "adjustment". The Resolution versus FPS is not powerful enough, no matter what you do. You need 60 fps and the proper USB in order to have the Quality 90% of people are looking for when comparing the price. I spent the last two hours figuring this out in multiple areas, even after watching your video. Even at the end of the video, this Camera still shows significant Blur regardless of lighting. There is NO autofocus. They need to throw this series out lol Great Video/showcase....just an all-round horrible product lol
I use the brio 100 with Logi Options+ software and it lets me have almost as much dialing in as a facecam including ISO speed!! one of the best 40.00 webcams I have owned! I use it as a secondary webcam on my livestreaming!
@@jessieball6195 well, really expensive is subjective, it's not a RED camera and Neumann microphone. I'd say it's mid-tier. The ZV-E10 is one of the cheapest APS-C cameras with clean HDMI out and the Viltrox lens is cheap as far as glass goes, but yes, more expensive than any webcam. I did a video on getting an APS-C mirrorless camera set up for just a little more than an expensive webcam ($220 at the time) here ruclips.net/video/i2wiHT1wBUU/видео.html
@@altancagriegemen it doesn't. The lens has a rather tight 58 degree field of view. Most webcams are 75-80 degrees and the wide angle ones are 90+ degrees. The only option is to put the webcam further away from you.
You can't really fix the mic audio. The filters in OBS or others can adjust tonality a bit, but it's the echo and distance from your mouth that you're fighting with webcams.
Could I use this webcam to show my ID through it? I need a webcam to take online exams, the proctor is going to ask me to show mi ID and he must be able to read it clearly. So I need one that can focus texts.
It's a fixed focus camera, so with a driver's license you may need to get the distance just right. I think it should work with a steady hand and enough light.

@cesaretontini9641 yes, you might need a 3/8 to 1/4 20 adapter depending on if your boom arm includes 1/4 20 option. I've done this. The cheap $20 parallel rod style arms actually keep the camera level, too, like a mini jib arm. I used it in this review ruclips.net/video/Zx3tmIIuLnM/видео.html go to 18:58. Hi there I recently bought this webcam. It is my first time using a Webcam. I can't get passed the templates page. The webcam is connected via the cable and I can see the camera on the home page but when I go to select a template and a trigger I can't add the webcam to Bluetooth . It is connected to BT with audio according to my BT settings on my laptop. I can't do anything on this page where I need to select BT connection or a reciever which I don't have. I also wanted to know since it's my first time using a webcam. Can I record from the Options+ software or do I need to use a recording software for that. I have tried everything to try and get this Camera to work or to connect the way that it should, I've tried tutorials, searching it, going on the Logitech website and seeing if there is any info there. I had even used other Logitech software's you have available on their website. I have also lodged 2 support tickets yesterday and still haven't recieved anything. So with that being said, I hope I can get some help here.
I'm sorry, the templates page in which app? I'm not following where you are using this, why are you trying to connect via Bluetooth instead of USB? The webcam doesn't have wireless Bluetooth or wifi functionality
Hi Jeremy thanks for the video. I m looking for a cheap decent webcam and my Q is can I take snap shots with this 101 and logi tune? My old c 270 just died on me and it would.
Thanks Jeremy as I was looking through other things I realized that I accidentally had uninstalled and deleted my windows camera and it was nowhere to be seen. I reinstalled it now and I've got it back to use with the Brio 101 that I've got coming tomorrow. Thank you. Also should I download the Logitech tune app with it
Does it work with iPad pro? I just bought one and it's not working..How to connect logitune with webcam ..the one that I have downloaded shows only earbuds option.
I don't have an iPad to test with, but it looks like iPadOS 17 and newer should support it as a UVC webcam. It wouldn't work with Logi Tune though, which AFAIK only has versions for Windows and macOS
There are massive differences between the C270 and Brio 100. Main one is the maximum resolution, C270 is a 1280x720 camera and Brio 100 is 1920x1080. Both are 30 frames per second. Image and audio quality in my opinion is also better on the Brio 100. It has a sliding privacy shutter. Both are USB-A. Brio 100 also comes in 3 colors, black, white and pink. Both are fixed focus cameras.
@@SergSpace Despite the fixed focus lens, it's still going to be a better image than most 720p webcams. A 720p mirrorless or DSLR camera would be superior to this (and many 1080, even 4k webcams), but we're still talking about a budget webcam
@@DeployJeremy I went with HP 320 FHD. It looks better on some youtuber review with quality, white balance and mic is super. Did you try it? I haven't received it yet.
It's not bad for the price, but the C920 with the right lighting still holds its own. That said, this is cheaper unless you have a C920 already or find a used one.
