I saw Ministry in a hockey rink w/ Sepultura & Helmut,, Ministry has 5 guitars , 2 drummers & such a backdrop ,, unbelievable how big that pit was ,, I lost my girlfriend for 1/2 hour in it,, wow , that was Gardner Massachusetts, 1991,, i still hear in my dreams
I saw them play in Seattle in 92' at the Seattle Arena and Chris Cornell sang "So What" then members of Pearl Jam came on and they did Black Sabbath for the anchore. It was really good show.
Great Memory John ... Saw the same show at SF Civic Auditorium, I think Helmut was there too. IT WAS FUCKING INSANE, THE WHOLE FLOOR WAS A PIT My buddy sprained his ankle during Ministry's first song NWO and I nearly collapsed due to a lack of oxygen.
My buddy Erik and I moshed at the Austin show at Austin City Music Hall and the Dallas show at Club Clearview and partied with Al and Luke Van Acker at The Ambassador Hotel in Dallas. Awesome experience - like Jimi Hendrix. The live show was just like this video.
This is a from a Ministry tour. From the vid 'In Case You Didn't Feel Like Showing Up'. I fucking love this live version. Even better than the studio one imo.
i think the best part about Ministry's music (apart from it's well written lyrics and awesome music) is that it makes you want to punch a hole in a wall and very effectively manages to pump you up
As far as i can remember the faces on this its: Connelly - Vocals Paul Barker & Martin Atkins (fuzzy blond) - Drums Al Jourgensen - Backup vocals (in the 5min marks with his white cowboy hat) Nivek Ogre - offstage (fuck art lets kill t shirt) Wikipedia has these members listed for the year this tour was made: Mike Scaccia - Guitar Bill Reiflin - Drums/Programming (not shown) Terry Roberts - Guitar William Tucker - Guitar
haha, we used to always spit out the "respect" line to the teachers at assembleys in school. they would say some shit to us and we would just keep saying respect.... hahaha
Chris Connelly is amazing. He now does completely different stuff, but his delivery is as great if not better now. Very talented man. His book is very funny. He has great respect for Paul and Bill, but isn't Al's fan. He was almost kicked out of Ministry btw. Who knows why Al decided to keep him. Smartest move in his life. Without Connelly "Mind..." would never be that great.
Ah man gutting you couldnt get there. Im reading Connelly's bio at the moment. Its great cause I read about something that happened then watch it online! It kind of gets you into the in jokes that were happening on stage but you didnt get just by watching the video.
If anyone ever heard Ministry's first album they wouldn't believe the garbage they shit out then in comparison to this unadulterated, raw and ingenius industrial poetry.
Rip off of Slipknot? Are ya shittin' me? Ministry (and the all-star cast from this tour in particular) was comprised of DOZENS of people who changed the face of music forever, and bands like Slipknot would probably not exist if it hadn't been for Ministry. In fact, Joey Jordison (#1, as you know him) played drums for Ministry more than 15 years AFTER this footage was taken. If you've got something to say, do your damn homework before talking out of your ass.
After 4 times posting (and probably showing up later, ha ha), I'll try posting in "Post a Video Response", instead of "Reply" So I believe that the shit now is worse than the shit then, and that a lot of the now "good stuff" is a derivative copy of the then good stuff, so I'd question your comment Which new "pretty cool stuff" are you talking of ?
hal9thou001 the fence is for all the glass beer bottles that would be thrown.back then we were brutal fucking maniacs....and we LOOOVED IT!SOOO WWHHAATT!

Oh wow I remember borrowing this tape from a buddy and never returning it back in High School, this concert is full of win.
I saw them play in Seattle in 92' at the Seattle Arena and Chris Cornell sang "So What" then members of Pearl Jam came on and they did Black Sabbath for the anchore. It was really good show.
My absolute favorite Ministry tune!
thanks for the trivia, lifelong ministry fan here from back in the 80s, "now get up, get on your feet!"
wow great song....saw them in Lollapalooza 92....one of the best days of my life. Thanks Al....get your ass back on Alex's show!!!!

Oh, thanks. There were so many singers contributing to Ministry at that time that I found it hard to keep track of...
This is a from a Ministry tour. From the vid 'In Case You Didn't Feel Like Showing Up'.
I fucking love this live version. Even better than the studio one imo.
Searched around youtube for this song, found this. Much better than I could have hoped for. Thanks.
this version could be played today and still sound like new... better than anything now
that's the electronic trigger/snare drum he hits for the timing I believe. agreed, he's deadly with his timing.
millions of thanks for uploading, we only had it on a videotape, which was already trashed from too much watching :))))))))))))))
One of my Fav Ministry songs, and a cool vid. Thanks for posting!
thank you! one of the greatest post's on youtube!
yeeh also on "in case you didnt feel like showing up" there was a cd and a dvd released
Ohhhhh, the good old days.
Chris Connelly. He was in Revolting Cocks and Murder Inc. He wrote the lyrics to So What, if I'm correct.
Something tropical about this. Used to hear it in RI back then, radio or what.
That's trippy
i think the best part about Ministry's music (apart from it's well written lyrics and awesome music) is that it makes you want to punch a hole in a wall and very effectively manages to pump you up
anger management?
This is the sound of a thousand angry thunderstorms.
I once saw this whole show in ATL rollin my balls off! Fantastic!
"Fuck Art Let's Kill"
Great T shirt. Classic tune as well.
Be Well.
I saw this tour live in LA !!!
As far as i can remember the faces on this its:
Connelly - Vocals
Paul Barker & Martin Atkins (fuzzy blond) - Drums
Al Jourgensen - Backup vocals (in the 5min marks with his white cowboy hat)
Nivek Ogre - offstage (fuck art lets kill t shirt)
Wikipedia has these members listed for the year this tour was made:
Mike Scaccia - Guitar

Terry Roberts - Guitar
William Tucker - Guitar
Umm not quite.
Most definitely Paul Barker on bass not drums.
Bill Reiflin drummer without striped shirt.
One of the loudest bands ever, you will never see Al in a suit again, he cleans up nice.
it's not Al ,,,,,,thats Chris
13 years later I can agree. concert was fucking loud. I lost my equilibrium for 24 hours cause my right ear was plugged. EPIC band live.
This song is fucking BEAST!!
haha, we used to always spit out the "respect" line to the teachers at assembleys in school. they would say some shit to us and we would just keep saying respect.... hahaha

uno de los grupos que mas me identifico y me marco caudno era yo un puberto!!
I want this on DVD.
Al Jourgensen is married with a kid. Freud said that people often make fun of the traits in others they most despise in themselves.
This is too cool. Bugs me out
es una vergota Ministry, esta chingon el video
Actually Ministry was around in the early 80's.
That'd be chris connelly
The snap shots of Paul Barker staring in dissonance at tghe crowd are f*cking with my mind
For a little tiny guy he is very scary when he catches your eye....
this is music to kill to, fuck yeah!!!
Ministry in the early 1990s was fucking aces.
then go and listen to the fun loving two kinds of music you like, country and western...
"Yeah Chris Connelly in the dreads"
link to the news about Al and Depeche Mode please.
Rip off of Slipknot? Are ya shittin' me?

al is the one in the cowboy hat they don't show much
I agree about Al. I'm glad he's healthier now, but the music suffered in the process.
read chris connellys bio for the heads up[
kidding me? jordison was 14 when this vid was made.
You can see Jourgensen at 5:35
lol, I saw this band once, loud as fuck!
Sex Pistols wake up!
Where can I find this concert in good quality? This one?
lol look it up on google :P
After 4 times posting (and probably showing up later, ha ha), I'll try posting in "Post a Video Response", instead of "Reply"
So
I believe that the shit now is worse than the shit then, and that a lot of the now "good stuff" is a derivative copy of the then good stuff, so I'd question your comment
Which new "pretty cool stuff" are you talking of ?
Al is God.
Interesting that they show Chris C. singing as this looks like a Pigface tour.
Back when u can actually jump on the ducking fence lol fuck
country and western is also cool man :] try hank williams III, bigger stoner then al ;)
K, not sure if this has been posted yet, but does "1996" by Manson sound like this song?
is there a DVD for "in case you didnt feel like showing up"???
I was referring to this other guys band, not Ministry. LOL
just imdb'd n it got 2.4!! thats low as fuck, hah.
you know, as far as the guitar goes...
Ogre's on keyboards in this one. That's Chris Connelly singing.
shortest 10 min on RUclips
effect itisit more than debüe
Al looked skinny back then lol
reminds of the exploited shows in the small clubs.
what's the name of the singer?
poor connelly. he became a bar room hack.
did chris sing on the album version?
nope it was Al
lol aim for the ground and miss!
Do some pages swallow messages ? Or do they show up later ?
Chris Connelly.
ZING!
It doesn't look like Chris Connelly either
Yeah. All the Britneys and Christinas, that are leading culture, are sure "much cooler"...
?
ahhaha chris's dreads don't look real
from a mind is a terrible thing to taste, i think
sighs no real bands anymore lol
Yawn..... and, yes... so what. Take down that fence, coward.
lol ever heard of atmosphere?
rmhanzel I'm not exactly sure what my point was there. Too many beers, I think. ;)
hal9thou001 the fence is for all the glass beer bottles that would be thrown.back then we were brutal fucking maniacs....and we LOOOVED IT!SOOO WWHHAATT!
Nope, that's Ogre.
