I love that game. I played it for so many hours and won all the medals and made it to a three star general. It was really tough to finish all the missions though.
This game prompted me to buy a joystick which changed my life forever, this game was so incredibly fun. And later I got into the Mechwarrior games, MW 4 Vengeance and Mercenaries to be precise, which were immeasurably better with a joystick. I miss PC gaming in the 2000's, everything was so new and exciting and hadn't suffered from the plataue in quality we are seeing today in gaming.
Still play this game time to time, it runs well on windows 7 with an official patch done by tackleberry, all thanks to him. I don't know about windows 10 or later if it is compatible with that patch.
As awesome as this game is, it frustrates me when I see HUD or HMCS being *darker* than the environment behind it... It's *light* shining on glass. It's additive, never the other way round...
Wait, did they just predict the JHMCS? I'm not sure there was any public information on it but it looks surprisingly close to what it actually looks like. Not exact but fairly similar. The game was released in 1999, therefore development was earlier. The JHMCS was not announced to my knowledge until a couple of years later. It has been years since I played this game and completely forgot the psuedo-JHMCS that was present.

Not really. We already had Falcon 4.0 in 1998, and Flanker 2.0 in 99. This VC actually look like shit compared to these two.

Welcome to the land of 90s flight simulators. Some games would let you set the HUD color to any color of the rainbow.

David Bissig doesn’t work on most new os’s. You might want to install a virtual machine PC over your OS and run the game on that OS on the VM
Thilo Horseshit. You can get it to work if you apply the no CD patch first and then install the tackleberry patch.
