How do I keep the cockpit on? Lowering the resolution?

how do you get the MFd screens small and along the bottom of the screen?

You have to have 800x600 resolution for cockpit to work and in the preferences you have to unselect or turn off large windows. In order for the AIM 9M, 9X, 9B, etc. to work, you have to install the AAS-38 FLIR Pod because majority of planes don't have it, and turn off radar and turn on IR sensor but locking with I/L target and R/V target.
