Came to know how His Highness The Shah of Iran gave this city a Sikh name Zahed, means Dervesh!, such a very rare honour for Sikhs. Pajji you and all these seniors touched the heart. Now it's upto we all Indians and Sikhs in particular, whereever we live, must do something to encourage ours, who are still remains in Iran, atleast pay a visit and give respect to them, atleast. Brother a very big question arises in my mind that although Sikhs migrated from Pakistan only 77 years ago but all gurdwara sahiban have either disappeared or are on the verge of collapse but Iran also is an Islamic country yet the gurdwara sahib is in great shape and the Sikhs a seem to be fully independent towards practice of their religion so there’s definitely something grey in pakistans policy towards minorities and their assets
