What brush did you use at the beginning to create the brown fluff?

The music is really funny with slide whistles and cash register cha chings and cuckoo clocks 😂 my kind of music actually. Oh and great painting video! Very helpful 😁

Currently painting a fox. Only been painting a year or so after usually working with pencils and charcoal. Finding fur SOOO difficult. Even watching what you are doing as closely as possible doesn't work. Maybe it'sy brushes?

Amazing technique! What if you are painting an orange and white cat? Would you put down the orangey tones first and then the white? 😊

excellent paint job, i thought it would be all wet on wet but thats ok. I only rolled my eyes when you mentiond glazes but thats ok i just skipped that bit , all in all good texture and value, well worthy of the algorithm gods.

You are so amazing, easy to watch, I still can't grasp how to transfer it to the white cat portrait I'm struggling with for a Christmas present, but I'm just going to keep at it until I get it, you're so encouraging, thank you! 2:30 pm Nov 14, 2023

Hi Danielle. I love your tutorials and this one is especially helpful for white fur. However, I am having difficulty with reflecting light (in general) on a white dog with long white fur. When I put down my base colors using a darker gray on the shadow side of the animal, no matter what I do with the subsequent layers I cannot create the illusion of light shinning on the dog. It just looks like 1/2 of her face is discolored. I think I'd have this issue no matter what color the dog was. I am pretty new to painting in acrylic, so any help you can offer would be so appreciated. I wish I could show the reference photo so perhaps you (or anyone) could offer a tip. It's so cute and I don't want to give up on it. I know values are important. A tutorial on light shining from one side onto a white dog's face would be great!

Love your art. I joined your classes and am viewing them now. Do you have any plans of doing any horse portraits? Maybe I missed it but there is no way of contacting you via email on your classes
platform. I am a senior and I am not educated with Facebook, Instagram, etc. Can you send me an email contact address on your wildlife lessons course platform. You have my contact info. Thanks

Hi Richard! So glad you’re enjoying it! Inside the Info Hub in the platform I have a tutorial calendar that shows what the next 3 months will look like, I do actually have a horse portrait tutorial coming soon!
