Aside from a gifted writer, ngayon ko lang narealize na ang guitar playing style ni Ely ay parang na influence ni Robert Smith ng The Cure. Still, one of the most distinct voices of OPM. His voice and songs are indelibly etched within the Philippine musical landscape.
Friendships is not about the time " though it is important" but the quality, watched it until the end, i can see honest reaction of Ely on respond to Paco question, Kudos to both of you, May you encounter the Lord Jesus on your music and journey of life,
Sobrang rock si Raymund in later years ng Eheads. It's a good thing Ely still wrote a non-rock song like "Huwag kang Matakot" which became a hit. It's Ely's charisma and his songs ang nasasakyan ng karamihan. That's his gift.
