Hi, thanks. Don't do gpx but I do have a guidebook published by Cicerone which contains routes including many of these trails. Check out Mountain Biking in the Lake District by Ian Boydon. 👍
@@Lakedistrictrider will, thanks, nice quality videos. Always nice to have a visual imprint of the route beforehand. Makes the navigation a bit easier if you've seen it prior to riding 👍👍
Thanks for getting the book! The exact route in the video is not the same as the book but there are similar routes in there. I don't have a GPX I'm afraid. I don't use them.
@@Lakedistrictrider ah, excellent. I'm currently in a quandary over which one to buy as my first FS bike. Have narrowed it down to a spark or genius. I'm never going to be doing big jumps or drops. Neither am I going to be going down steep technical stuff. Am leaning towards a spark 950
@@IntoTheWhite04 I really like mine. I went from a 2008 Scott Spark that had 100mm travel and a very steep aggresive xc geometry, this 720 bike feels way more suitable and capable as a trail bike. If you are coming from a hardtail it will feel like you have loads of travel. Though I am sure you would like either the Spark or the Genius. Both great bikes.
@@Lakedistrictrider yeah, coming from a 12 year old GT avalanche with 100mm on the fork. It's such a minefield. I do xc mainly but want to be able to start going to some big hills. I'm sure the spark will be more than enough for me. And having watched your videos you are doing stuff on yours I would struggle with. Glad I found your channel because there is a real lack of Spark videos on here. It's made me confident I'm making the right choice 👍
Really nice video, must do a trip to parka or 👍😎
Thanks mate
Great vid, was trying to remember where Breasty Haw went to after that as haven't ridden it in 15 plus years, cheers 👍🏻

I have your book in front of me now and trying to draw in this route on memory map, but wondered if you have a GPX file?

What bike are you on there ? Is it a Scott spark?
Hi, yes it is a Scott Spark 720
