메리 크리스마스! 🥂🍾🎅🎄🎁🌟 Pat Boone is an American icon, as you know, and I believe he is still alive today (age 89). His song is always easy to listen to and is nostalgic. Lady Too Much looks quite young in her Christmas outfit at 0:10. 😉😊 (well, actually, after watching the entire video, L. Too Much looks young in all three of her outfits today!~~^^) Going back to 601 ... Psy, IMO, is a true innovator in the work he has done all through the years (minus the long break he took). Your comment about female teachers' suicide rates is interesting; I didn't know that. As for my "home repair" activities, I pride myself on having some trade skills, like carpentry, woodworking, (house) painting, and such. I wish I had learned more such skills when younger. However, I learn new stuff all the time from friends and from RUclips videos on home repair -- "tricks of the trade." I even managed to fix my home gas furnace recently (by replacing and adjusting its inducer motor), and I saved probably $1000 USD doing it myself. Noise from apartments is always a problem, everywhere. It is best if you can solve it on a friendly basis by talking to the neighbors. BUT ... that doesn't always work out very well, unfortunately. You can * try * to learn not to hear it! Try to learn to ignore it. I have tinnitus (ringing in the ears, both ears) -- it is rather loud. I had it since I was 14 years old after having measles. But I learned to "not hear it" most of the time (the expression is "I learned to 'tune it out.'"). If I focused on that sound, it might drive me crazy! ㅋㅋ But I just ignore it, I do not hear it (unless I try to hear it!). As for this: Home ownership => home repairs ... Yep! As we become older, it gets a little more difficult doing your own home maintenance. Older people must work more carefully and slowly, at times. Try to make a strong effort to take care of your health, my friend. Health and time are the two most precious things that we have as we age. Wishing you and your family a happy holiday season. Until next time ... 🍀👍🙏💝
My favorite Christmas carol is "Silver Bells. But there are many versions of it, and I don't like the ones sung by other singers, but the original Pat Boone is my favorite. It's always nice to be told that I look younger than my age. I'm glad that my friend Mike complimented me because it gives me more credibility. About female teachers' suicide rates...In my opinion, the so-called Gapjil (Korean: 갑질) cases in Korea are a serious social problem. Gapjil (Korean: 갑질) is an expression referring to an arrogant and authoritarian attitude or actions of people in South Korea who have positions of power over others. After reading your post on home repairs, you are truly amazing. In Korea, non-science majors find it difficult to change a fluorescent light bulb. You fixed the boiler? Even my husband, who is an engineer, recognizes your ability and courage. You're amazing! And your post about the tinnitus in your ears was a bit of a shock to me. I admire your persistence and effort to focus on only the sounds you need. My dear friend Mike, as you say, time really does fly by. Let's all stay healthy and see you here next time. Thank you. 👍👍👍👌👌👌😁😁😁💖💖💖👏👏👏
