"This Chuseok holiday was the first time I could fully rest in my life." Ha-ha, yes, I remember you telling me that such big holidays can be a lot of work preparing everything and cleaning up.^^ This year 2023 passed too quickly already. Soon, it is Christmas, again.
A lot of people here are getting COVID. I just got the 'new' Moderna vaccine (it is my 7th shot since the COVID virus was detected in USA). I already know several people who caught COVID recently.

My birthday is always October 3rd. Thank you for remembering my birthday. ^^ That day, my husband and son each had an event prepared, but it was ruined due to the bad intervention of others. Not now, but I will tell you the details next time I have a chance. In the evening, my son made shrimp pancakes and seaweed soup (everyone always eats it on their birthday. Usually, mothers eat seaweed soup as a health food after giving birth), so we managed to throw a small party.
I watched an interesting TV program on Hangul Day. It was a program where foreigners competed on their Korean language skills. My son and I watched it together, and we had fun talking about how great it would be if my dear friend Mike appeared. Just imagining it was a lot of fun.
This year, I had a comfortable Chuseok for the first time, and unlike before, I decided to look forward to something fun for the upcoming Christmas.
COVID-19 is spreading again here, but everyone is not paying attention because the economic crisis (a rare big issue like war) is a bigger problem.
