The Noosa Bar and Bay. Friday morning, August 2, 2024.

A beautiful morning here in Noosa with blue skies over low lying cloud. A light 4 to 6 knot SSW breeze blowing at the river mouth and a moderate, dumping swell on the bar and between the groynes. Lumpy on the horizon. BOM forecast is for southerly winds 15 to 20 knots, reaching up to 25 knots offshore. Seas: 1.5 to 2 metres, decreasing to 1 to 1.5 metres around midday, then increasing to 1 to 2 metres by early evening. Swell: Southerly 2.5 to 4 metres, decreasing to 2 to 3 metres around midday.
