Great video. I own a studio as well for the past 3 years. The one thing that helps me mitigate risk is we have someone at the booking for the duration of the booking and we do everything for them even pull down the backdrop. We had someone break our wall mount as well and we don't let others pull the backdrop down anymore. Imma fan of your studio space and your working with a lot of real estate which is great. We only have 600 sq ft. But best of luck on your journey.

Thank you for tuning in. We have someone on site as well. When we first opened we were more hands on but as time goes by you get comfortable. I guess it’s time to revert back to the old ways! Best of luck to you as well.

This is exactly why I stopped renting out my studio no one wants to take accountability for their actions or just right out lie about how or who broke it
To me it's a matter of people not being invested in a business environment, if all you're doing is paying by the hour for the use of someone else's equipment in space there seems to be a lack of respect

I’ve thought about that a few times myself.

Porky the pig with the stutter aka the photographer who shot the band at your studio 👋🏾. The band member who put the whole in your wall was very apologetic. Accidents happen unfortunately and like you said, the members of the band were late 40s and 50s so when he tripped, we all had to make sure he was ok.
Also it's good to know how you talk about people who rent your studio as I was looking into the pros and cons of doing it myself one day. I'll make sure to never book this place again or refer my clients here too.
    Peace and blessings!

The title of this video is “The Bad Side of Owning a Photography Studio.” It contains many circumstances that come with owning this type of business. Property damage would be a pretty significant thing to discuss. No names were used. You outed yourself by publicly commenting rather than privately reaching out.
My goal is to educate and add a little humor in my content. Seeing that you are considering running your own studio in the future, I hope you found some value in this video. Thanks for watching!

@@RondellLane No names were used so we never knew who it was, so FACTS dude outed himself and the whole band for those that know who he is associated with. Reaching out in private would have been best. Great Video, and I guess this is another example of dealing with a client.
