      Im a single mum also.
Gas man came and replaced the meter and my hot water went out!!!
I only realised a day later.
No customer service to offer to ignite your gas services after they switch off your gas.
So im out in the freezing cold pitch black and its been over 10 years since I had last ignited the hot water myself.
This video refreshed me and helped me ignite it on my 3rd attempt.
      Thankyou. Feeling happy now.
I called my ex husband but did not need him. He can stay away😅

I roateted that levels from 4 to 5 but no significant difference.. is there any DIY steps that can be done before calling someone? If you’re unable to light the HWS after following these directions, you need to seek help from a licenced gas fitter.
If you have checked that you have gas in the bottles then you may have a failed component in the system that needs repair or replacement.

If your tank is not heating & the burner is on then you will need to contact your local Gas Fitter.

Unfortunately didn’t work for me. Have similar system. Pilot light lit but as soon as I let go of button it goes out. Tried about 3-4 times and last one counted to 50 but no luck 😔

Sorry yours didn’t stay lit. You most probably have a failed component in your system. You will have to contact your local maintenance gas plumber for them to test & hopefully repair. If you are located Brisbane Southside, northern Gold Coast, Logan or Ipswich, give us a call.
