@Siddharth Shah yeah It created a confusion among students so I changed the thumbnail , On internet if you search long divison symbol you also get square root one. So both are correct.

The division is the hardest thing I had to learn for me
I hadn't learnt it permanently until year 6 and still today I have trouble messing with such questions

@@marynassuna3792 Well math teacher's want to use their method (traditional method) so if you want to have good test score in division you just had to use the traditional method but guesstimetion and learning fractions to divide won't work even if your answers are not all wrong:/

Great video and I like when people encourage rounding to do calculation in the head like you do. Just a little note, at 4:40 you claim that error decreases by rounding up one number and down the other. That is only true when doing approximation for multiplication, for approximation of divisions it reduces error if you round the numbers the same way but it increases if you round them in different direction.
PS: I love the last part about the cyclic behaviour of the decimals.

I mostly use the Vedic maths method but does it work on multiplication?

at 3:30 we need to do 186*5 so in another video of yours u said if u want to multiply any number by 5 just "Half the neighbor,
plus 5 if the number is odd." so I can't to do this look 186*5 so first 186 so basically the half is this 6430 so how come 930 will be the answer I can't multiply with 5 can u pls tell me what wrong I'm doing

Result=499.02906 more easy to do in divisions because division follow always The same rules.roots and nroots have a different methods to find decimal places.....
