I love tiny DIY build myslef and I'm currently looking for my next one after Intel releases their new CPU so I can look at some benchmarks before deciding. I can't wait for November or December to get all the parts! A few tips for your build, first a SF750 Platinum would be more than enough and comes with flexible cables. Second, If you can add a duct from rear panel to stick to the heatsink it would be better because the CPU would have no other option than sucking fresh air from outside the case which really makes a difference.
I got the exact same build but kept it as the inverted design and an SFX PSU. With this setup I have exhaust at the bottom. I am probably going to add a couple fans at the top to feed the GPU more aggressively. I also put a 92mm at the back for intake to help cool down the CPU
as someone who has a XFX 6700xt I had to fan curve it as well, that thing sounds like a jumbo jet when the fans ramp and I prefer a quiet system as I listen to speakers mainly due to how amazing they sound compared to most headphones. as a fan of Ncase will keep my eye on this, only thing that worries me is if you have to remove the gpu for any reason you will have to undo most of the case, personally eyeing up the Ncase FF1 if it ever releases -_-.
359mm. But this is the maximum internal space length , so it's best to choose an SFX power supply. Otherwise, the power cables are likely to conflict with the graphics card.
Mhhm, it would possible using an AIO on top or rear side, using the staff, with an matx board? I have no problem with gpu, mine is a 4070s dual slot. It would also fit two 25mm bottom fans right? To be clear, i want an matx board, using an AIO on top, a 2-slot gpu, an sfx psu and atleast 2 more fans on bottom.
Nice build man, I wanted to ask you about some cheap fans that perform well to put in the M2 And also how many fans should I put there? One more thing, as you have the case there, would you know the maximum GPU dimensions for an ATX psu, they are much cheaper and I am looking to get just a mid end GPU for now
What do you think for the Fractal North vs Lian Li A3 Wood? I've mixed feelings, the A3 seems to have better compatibility with radiators but MATX boards... there isnt much option for amd (black). The North seems fine but I've seen lots of complaints about build quality, noise and poor radiator compatability because 360 rad is only possible on the front.. I need a new case but can't decide lol
Did you use the left-angled power supply cable, which is sold as an accessory? I'm not sure if the included right-angled cable would fit for the classic setup. Nice video!
Well done. The compatibility list provided on the Ncase website is not very clear. For example, the 7900XTX graphics card you are using only supports the classic mode when using an SFX-L power supply. In the flipped mode, the power cables will severely interfere with the graphics card. Also, have you ever used the front Type-C port to connect an external SSD for speed tests or other high-load operations? My external SSD loses recognition when I run read/write tests through the front Type-C port, but it works fine when connected directly to the Type-C port on the motherboard's I/O shield.
Very good wuestion wonder if i need to order that separate thingy or not. The food nenws is that i know the gou will be cool as it has those massive he at sinks
@@Walhoryeah no question it will fit using the sandwich config but I am more interested about the classic config that way I won’t deal with any riser cable issues

I'm in the same dilemma and seems like it's not possible, the temps in this video are some of the best however it can get better but you gotta choose your parts accordingly, I want to install a 9950x but not sure of the temps.
Great video! Thanks for putting so much effort into this build and sharing it. You mention that the cooler Noctua cooler "juuuust fits". The side panel DOES MAKE CONTACT with the Noctua. Can you please elaborate on this. I am considering the Noctua you have vs the Assassin 12 Mini and I was under the impression that the Noctua D12L will not fit in the Ncase M2. The specs on the Ncase site mention max height that will fit is 144mm while the Noctua specs mention it is 145mm, so as you mentioned the side panel is touching. Is this causing any issues? Any weird vibrations or anything noticeable? Maybe a dent when you close the case? This thought is seriously making me reconsider buying the Noctua, although I fear the Assassin is underpowered for my setup. I would really really really appreciate your detailed feedback on this.
Excellent video! Very nice advice on SFX psu instead of SFXL. Is the exhaust fan up top a 120mm slim fan or a different size? Also, I know you said you dont plan on changing the layout, but do you think it would be possible to rotate the CPU cooler 90 degrees and have the fans pointing up? I wonder if that would help exhaust the hot air from the GPU quicker.
