@@ChrispyAvocadohey man, I ended up ordering the case. I’m a bit confused though- you say that it doesn’t come w a fan bracket, but then later on in the video you have a list of what comes inside the box. Did you just order an extra fan bracket? Or does it really not even come with a single one? Because that sounds absurd.
Thanks for posting this. I didn't even notice the missing front panel ports. Like you, I was attracted to the Grater because of more airflow potential. Decisions, decisions.😂
I ordered the round version and shipped about 2 days ago. There aren’t many build videos of the M2 so I’m looking forward to yours. Great video and you earned yourself a sub.
@@ElKuku9999 thank you, yea most of the parts drop on the 24th of this month so many things to consider. Then I still have to wait for Nvidia to drop the new 50 series GPUs in January apparently. My wallet isn’t ready lol
@@kailron for the most part the MB I/o shield fills up most of the space and when the GPU is in the horizontal orientation it takes up a majority of the space left over leaving maybe two slots worth of space, now when you do a VGPU orientation you have to remove the GPU mount and only have the GPU lock bar attached to the m2 frame, once you lower your MB there will be space at the top and bottom.

Similar would be the dan case c4 sfx v2 if it ever comes out. Finish wise they have these made at a new manufacturer that has this particular finish. If we are talking from Ncase similar would be M2 angled, m2 round, smaller ones they have a T1 Model.
Thanks for showing the case! I don't actually have a 3D printer, would getting this case be a bad idea then? Not being able to print the fan brackets for example?
@@MrGobaz if you want the case it’s definitely worth it, it’s super flexible but I wanted as many layout option as possible and that’s why i bought the additional accessories. Not having a 3D printer is not a problem, and it would have added a low cost option of accessories for example the case feet without necessarily having to buy it. The M2 Round is a great options as well if you want to keep it under $200 Additionally, don’t forget they come with a radiator/fan bracket 0:35 for the top and/or side depending on what you put in there that might be enough. You can also put fans on the bottom panel. With cases like this planing and orientation is key. I hope this helps
That's awesome. Just researching for the grater case and found your channel. You are the only one who menitons that there is no front IO mount for the case. Where are we supposed to install the io then? Glad I found your video, keep it up :)
Glad I could help, so you have to purchase it separately which is unfortunate. They claim it was to have a "sleeker design". The only way to use it after you get it assuming you have access to a 3D printer is with that Hybrid foot / front case IO file 3:03 which does have a cool look if you do decide to go for it. I do think it kind of takes away form the premium aspect of the case though. Additionally when you look up M2 IO on their website they have two versions $15-20, but it says in the description it's the parts that are actually for the M1evo which is why I haven't tried to get one yet. If you want front IO with the Sacrifice of ventilation, try the M2 split, M2 round, or M2 Angled Hope this helps.
yes, there is one that is included but I got another one just to have cooling options for the side. It was a no-brainer since I was getting the feet and bracket for $20 off with the coupon they gave me for the shipping delay.
Bro I ordered mine the same day and they haven’t offered me anything. It was supposed to ship on the 30th of last month and just shipped on the 13th or so. 😭

That front IO port thing is weird to me. Why is the 3D file on the website when they don’t sell the IO board?

The Grater version is slick, bummer it doesn't have any front panel I/O. Thanks for sharing!
Great video! You shared a lot of the info I was having trouble finding on the M2
thanks I'm glad I could help
So how does the default look like when it comes to the io? Is there an awkward gap or is it nicely filled at least

About the front io. If u look at the specifications they clearly state that the grater version doesnt come with a front io.

FYI - they do tell you in the Spec list for the "Grater" that there is no front i/o. Though, not sure if that was there at the time of filming.

Is there a device thats similar in color and finish to the silver ncase m2? I like both the black and silver but cant decide.

if you use an itx mobo, can you fit two 120mm fans on the top and bottom, & what about two 140s?
I'm not to sure, when i get my hands on a ITX MB and start to build ill test it out, you can get away with slim fans most likely
