U can just see how kendall is struggling to handle and actually accept all of this and the fact that she just like kind of lost her dad....
I mean.. a family is a convoluted engine. I can't even start to figure out how i would grow with a dad that hates his genre to the point of having surgery to look like the other. Just to think that i'd have to agree with the idea for the sake of being "nice" makes me sick. You're free to do whatever you want with yourself but your freedom stops where mine starts.

But i do believe that parents have to put their child first. And a parent has to give up a lot. That is actually what being a parent means.

The reason Kendall gave for feeling distant from her father is really acceptable because it's true that even if she still has a father, the personality has completely changed. It's not easy to have a same relationship with a person if their personality has changed completely.

What I love about Kendall is that even though it's hard for her to have a women for a dad, she accepts Caitlyn's identity and doesn't question it. I mean, it must be REALLY hard to see one of the most important men in your life transition into a woman. if my dad ever did this I would be supportive as hell, but also I know it would just destroy my entire family.
