Create bots to have an excuse to ban players (yeah, they own pirates bots), make patches just to bore and almost forcing gamers to buy other of their trash games meanwhile they patch again.
A game like Warcraft 3 was destroyed with horrible graphics and a total downgrade of the original features. They didn't even respect that about the great Samwise Didier.
Abusive practices that have been repeated and customers have allowed it by purchasing more and more. I will never invest a single buck in this company again.

Unscripted/honest conference is absolutely correct. And if you can understand the correlation of this as it applies, not only to blizzard, but to all of these multi billion dollar companies these days… Both we and these products will be better off..
Simply put : you get the beast that you feed. So be careful what you feed.
Incentivize and reward products with the right priorities and authenticity… Anything less than that should get absolutely no access to your eyeballs and wallet.
The true decision-makers of these games nowadays are not the game creators… It’s the suits. and the suits only care about your eyeballs and wallets. So if they decision-making for a product is rewarded with access to your eyeballs and wallets as a majority… Then you are incentivizing more of their decision-making with wrong priorities. If you want that to change, do not feed the product results from their decision-making and their priorities.
The suits typically won’t ever care about the product, and only view it as a means to an end for profit. So as a majority if you affect that profit in a negative way and they lose access to your eyeballs and wallets over the results of their decision-making… They will do whatever it takes, make whatever changes are necessary, give decision-making control to whoever it needs to be given to in order to produce results that will regain access to your eyeballs and wallets. Knowing this is how you ensure that these products meet a quality standard and authenticity that is sorely lacking from these multi billion dollar companies with limitless, finances, and limitless resources to easily do so. The problem is the majority do not demand that because they give access to the only thing these suits care about for little to nothing.
Wake up consumers. You want better? Then quit feeding the wrong animal!

5:35 Capitalism baad boohoo. Look, its about the choice. Company owners can refuse to sell, players can refuse to buy. Indie games, kickstarters etc. There are plenty of choices, because of the capitalism.

I think the comment is less about capitalism being bad but rather it is unfair. Indie companies cannot compete in these markets without extreme risks which leads to less variance in products. This is ultimately bad for consumers since they are forced to take what they can get.
@@heyblackduck Not to mention any actual success just gets bought out anyways. The choices are fake, because when they buy you out as a business/the rights to your game, it pays the individuals a lot more than they'd be getting if they kept the product. So it's a win for the dev personally, even though they lose the game itself. The companies want the actual game IP though, because they can make back way more than they spent by fusing their resources/branding with the nostalgia/positive community feelings, to pump out knock-off stuff that only has to sell for more than they bought the IP for. Not hard to do when you cash in on the fanboys you effectively bought for your company.
