@@RazielDeTamIt isn't that much different from Happy. Happy has won so many Tier 1 Tournaments that he has dozen times of earnings more than most pro players. The considerable losses is not from material-wise, but popularity-wise. Banning a top 1 in anything to compete in a tournament is almost always a bad idea, especially when the top 1 is as dominant as Carlsen and Happy, because while they don't really care since they can find other tourneys to support them with their popularity, your own tourneys will suffer a major loss of popularity, and can even turn in a deficit instead of profit. It just doesn't make any sense to ban him.

Grubby told a story about the chinese scene. Around 20 years ago, they invited him and his team, to show chinese people the best european players. They told him, prepare fun strategies, and he did, like firelord first.
The chinese players were in tryhard mode. No fun strategies. It was all, to make europeans look stupid. It backfired, because Grubby was too good, could win some games and troll the chinese players with his crazy strats, and the viewers loved it, but still, it was to humiliate him, his team and the west in public. That was nearly 20 years ago, and I can imagine, it still is a problem in the scene, to look down on foreigners. Especially with modern politics...

Infi going after happy on behalf of sponsors cause happy made reasonable demands at a tour is WILD ! The organizers being unprepared and also making promises they couldn't keep later on is just poor mismanagement and when happy points it out and demands a better setup (like a cushion for height adjustment) or keeping their word about server choice hell breaks loose and they are out for blood !!
Also infi spreading alot of mis-information as usual !!
How a freaking few cushions ended up costing 3000$ for sponsors !?? explain that to me please or is it just another lie by infi ?
Saying happy wont play in don't force me cup due to fortitude's attitude, while it's only cause of map choice !!
Saying happy take your money but wants to be worshiped !!?? when has he ever demanded that ??!!!
I agree happy can be a bit difficult and too precise about his setup at tours but according to neo he makes reasonable/realistic demands and as long as you do a proper talk/negotiation with him, he'll be satisfied and plays the tour like any other !!
This is a big smearing campaign led by infi acting as the lapdog of the unhappy sponsors of Star cup cause some foreigner demanded they fix the flaws at their tournament !
Bottom line NONEof the things that have been pointed are happy's fault ! Not having chair with proper height adjustment and organizer over promising on server and changing their word at the tour ! none of these are happy's fault !! POOR POOR mismanagement on the organizer's side, that's all !
Also the last thing about happy not wanting the other teammates on stage. While i totally agree that's not the spirit of teamwork and not appealing in general but in this case give happy a break. He is a very serious gamer that always put out his best and comes for the prize money but his teammates had come for picknick . Awful/horrendous performance by TH000 and Kaho like absolute noobs forcing happy to try to carry the team alone on his back. I'll be mad too and them being on stage would make me agitated !

    • @TheAnhphuong92

you riding happy's D hard here. He's an anti-social guy who only cares for himself and doesn't know how to associate with others. I don't judge him for that, nobody does, but actions have consequences. The organizer spent 3 hours trying to negotiate with him at Stars War. And don't blame them for not meeting Happy's expectations. WC3 is a dead f**ing game, guys like Infi and SKy might have gone around begging different organizations for sponsorship. So of course, they have the right to be upset when it was only Happy that complains about everything while other players understand that this is a dead game so they are happy with what they get from the organizers.
Now about team's spirit. This is an event where every team has to work with a bunch of retired and semi-retired players except World Elite since they're the sponsor team so they want to win 1st place. Don't tell me that Fortitute's team Ehome is better. They beat world elite because of team spirit, and they were able to do that because there is no anti-social prick in their team who thinks the rest of the team are all burden and not helpful. Yumiko said Chinese viewers all think Fly is a burden but the team trust him against Lyn and he cried when he saw fly win a game vs Lyn and that's what boosted the team morale for Fly.
In the end the team with the strongest team spirit won, while the team with the weakest team spirit ranked last in a team competition. Happy is not a team player, nor an unbeatable God in offline tournaments where he can't feel as comfy as at home, but there's no doubt he's the most annoying contestant with his anti-social attitude and ridiculous requests.

Tournament play should have optimal playing conditions for all players. It's crazy that the fact that players requested cushions or whatever is a problem for organizers. Players should have whatever they need to have in order to show the best play. Viewers want to see best plays, not the best plays that people managed to pull off while sitting in a shitty chair.

to play in a competitive level in any game you need a good position that helps you to play more fluently.
i just stop playing valorant like a month ago, and it started like every new game just playing for fun, but in order to get better in a competitive way i had to train my aim with daily sessions and invest a lot of time playing it to improve, and i got radiant (the higher rank) putting all i could into the game, and in order to play "correctly" i was every day sitting in the same way, my keyboard, mouse and screen in the same position cuz if not my performance would be decrease at the point that i would playing like a diamond and not a radiant. this is a serious thing, if u see tournaments of valorant, dota even warcraft or any other game this is a fact, you see all the players playing from tournament to tournaments having the same position while playing cuz thats the way they feel comfortable.
if your playing a tough game in warcraft and suddenly you change your position lying down on the chair you would lose inmediately cuz you would not be able to click in that position.

I can tell you this, the story is INFI never said that HE wants to ban Happy from tournament. Infi only said that some invitation tournaments, which is LAN tournament, doesn't want to invite Happy. The reason is what happened in Starswar 11. To be honest, Starswar 11 is so hard to organized and something they didn't finish it perfectly, but please understand that. Sky has already tried his best to do this tournament. In Starswar 11, most players are Korean and Chinese. They all understand what happen in here, so they will compromise something in the middle. However, Happey doesn't understand all of those. He thought that this should be like Gold League which is truly professional. So he requested a lot of things and asked the organizer that why they didn't do this, why they didn't do that. Because of this, other Chinese tournament organizer thought that Happy is a tricky guy, so they decided that they would not invite Happy to LAN. However, this is sort of not true. Because Happy still can show up and attend online tournament, and they said that not all organizers hate Happy, they still want to invite him. I don't know where you got those resource and news. I can tell you that I know all of those things from INFI Live Channel.

The chair and server situation are kinda laughable though. You can't tell me a handful of grown-ups was unable to resolve this in less than 10 mintues. I get that having a good setup is important especially on the PRO level but seriously? There have been multiple setups and not a single chair was acceptable? Happy was the first or the only one to complain about the setups at all? Seems weird. Either this point is wrong or Happy is really nitpicky. And the server thing basically comes down to what was said. Play on the platform or withdraw from the tournament. It's insane that there needed to be delays due to these things :/ Not sure if it's enough to justify this level of drama but then again... who actually is no longer inviting Happy to tournaments? Apparently the big organizers still do. Sounds like a big nothing-burger because there always needs to be drama to feed the fans frothing at their mouths for any kind of content.

Probably the best thing that Infi could do to get Happy to behave would be to threaten to come out of retirement if he doesn't. It usually ends very badly for Happy when Infi plays his main and is serious about it. 🤣🤣
I remember a couple years back when Happy lost on ladder to Infi playing his main, then Infi playing Orc, and then him playing Elf, all in one week.
More recently, Infi smashed Happy off-race with Orc. which is incredible since Orc over the past couple years is total trash Vs UD. In all fairness to Happy, that was a huge map that allowed Infi to unload his god-tier macro play and get high-level heroes. There is not way that Infi would have beaten Happy with Orc on a smaller map. But still, beating Happy with Orc is completely crazy in 2024, and that is what Infi did.

im new to wc3 pro vids, but this sounds like organizers are either being stingy, or some player or team was upset that happy (who apparently is a very good player) needed special accommodations and got them.
Even in normal work environments with normal workers, it is both smart and moral to accommodate them, ESPECiALLY for ergonomic related things . Light brightness and chair seems like double reason to accommodate someone. as a 'pro' tourney (is it pro?) and with pro players, this shouldnt even need to be discussed.
Any organization needs to have these already planned for. Event costs are event costs. Its not like they are requesting a different city (which could also still be reasonable).
is infi a player or a team?
