But then, that would entail self control on both sides. And we can't have that, right? Better to blame religion! I liked this mini series but the story line just frustrates me. Why is it that the Catholic church just seems to ruin everything. Just think how good life would have been for all the characters in this film if the church wasn't there to muck everything up. Father de Bricasar should have never accepted the house to the church, thus taking it away from the family after the matriach died. All the suffering in this film can all be traced back to 1 thing; religion. I hope it fades to
just finished watching this. i cried and cried and cried. omg. i absolutely adore ralph! the ending killed me. but ahh well, we all die someday...
