Okay so correct me if I’m wrong. Lets say I’m doing private label. I have a total of 1000 units. All the units are of the same size but come in 2 colours- 500 each. The 500 same colour units come in let’s say for example 30 shipping boxes- so a total of 60 shipping boxes. 30 each containing the two colours
I purchase 2 UPC codes, one is x and the other y. I’ll print the UPC code x on the individual product boxes contained inside the 30 shipping boxes, and vice-versa.
Once i list the product, Amazon will allot me 2 FNSKU codes for each colour. I’ll cover the UPC codes on the individual product box of each colour with the FNSKU Code. Am i right?
Also, the box (the Shipping box containing several units of the same product) has to have the country of origin, type of product and size, not the UPC code. Correct?
Sorry for the long comment, one has to be specific & detailed to get the correct response.
That's correct. This goes in to detail on it: ruclips.net/video/16I1jOA6S2k/видео.html
@@CrescentKao Thank you for the amazing content man. One of the most detailed and easy to grasp. Wish you a long, healthy, and happy life.
@bodyfitness1240 l understand now. If l sell more than one items l only use 1 barcode but if l sell more items n different stuff n than l have to use 2 barcode am l right or qrong
@@YinYan-435 Every unique product requires it's own UPC barcode.

Thanks so much
Hello, you're welcome! I showed step by step in the video how/where to download it.

You’re welcome!
Hello. I have a question for you. I saw in video how to get FNSKU label but can you do it before you register your brand because UPC code I entered has my brand name in it? When I click on "this product does not have a brand name" it says error 8572. Can I get somehow my FNSKU and in the meantime I resolve this with my branding?
Hello. You can't. You need to complete the product listing in order to get the FNSKU.
@@CrescentKao Ok. Thanks for the answer.
I have upc label on pl product. So don’t need fnsku as amazon fba kay scan my upc barcode right?
Correct. But I suggest using the FNSKU instead.
@@CrescentKao Thanks
@@aanskh you’re welcome.
I'm the owner of this product. I have my own suppliers. How does it work
If you're doing private label, you need to buy your own GS1 barcode as I explained in the video.
@CrescentKao private label it mean that l sell my own products right.
Can the brand owner use amazon barcode, not your private barcode?
It doesn’t matter if you’re the brand owner or not, you can use either barcode.
@CrescentKao so even if i am a brand owner, i can use FNSKU barcode for my brand. I don't need to buy the UPC barcode. I am correct? In the future, if i decide to buy UPC barcode, i can't change it right.
@@PiRaNjLeS I suggest watching the video again. You always need a UPC in order to create a product listing. I explained this in the video.
@CrescentKao i watched, but i didn't get it , IF my product has a manufacturer upc need amazon barcode, not my private UPC .
This is was questions.
Byt if i don't have private UPC. I still need a manufacturer UPC, and top on that, we stick amazon barcode.
But if i have a private UPC, i don't need to stick to the amazon barcode.
@@PiRaNjLeS I'm sorry, I have no idea what you're talking about. If you're doing private label, you need to buy a UPC barcode. I gave detailed examples with different products and I showed you where you need to put the barcode in the listing and on the packaging. I even have a downloadable barcode flowchart to help you choose what barcode and how many you need to buy, I suggest you rewatch the video and download the flowchart.
If l use my suppliers barcode digital is still work on Amazon platform right
If you're doing wholesale, then yes, you need to use the original UPC that's on the product.
wtf the upc goes on the box that gets ships into amazon the fnsku goes on every item thats in the box being ship he explain this wrong
No I didn’t explain anything wrong. You have the option to put the UPC (manufacturer barcode) OR the Amazon barcode (FNSKU) on each unit. You should revisit the barcode guidelines that I explicitly went over in the video. The UPC doesn’t have to go on the shipping cartons, only the shipping plan box labels do. You should refer to the inbound shipping guidelines to see for yourself. Links to both guidelines are in the description.
