can you help me? When I take a shower the heating comes on even though it's switched off. I have a combination boiler, I live in a hard water area of southern France, Béziers. I don't want to pay a fortune to someone that I could do myself. thanks in advance.

can you tell me which boiler you have. Is the water from your shower luke warm since the fault developed?

ahmed williams hi, the shower works perfectly normal but after a few minutes the heating comes on but not when I use the kitchen or bathroom sink hot taps. the boiler is a Franco belge beretta. I wonder if the diverter valve is sticking?

romakayak that's very strange...if the diverter valve was stuck you would have the same problem when running the taps. I can't find enough info on that boiler to decide if it is something else.

@@jaredakten4939 could be a PCB fault

@@cjstroked yes if it was a motorised diverted valve it could be but if it's a differential diverter valve it wouldn't be.

Hi where do you put the silicon grease front or back or both sides?

Danilo Gobbi hi mate grease up all the moving parts. Don't need to grease the diaphragm itself.

Great but in the real world when time is money, just walk a new valve in, on to the next job.

This is just a small part of the diverter valve. You only need to see,how much of the kit, gets chucked back in the bag
when he fixes the easy bit.......CLICKBAIT.

Yes, commonly described as the diverter valve, but this is only a sub assembly of the entire diverter valve. This is the pressure differential chamber, which responds to hot water demand.
