Very well-done review. Thanks, Andrew! For those wondering, you can also adjust the haptic feedback strength as well as the force required to trigger a click in the touchpad settings.
GREAT design there by Lenovo. It's the first foldable I've seen that actually feel it could be naturally used in real life scenarios. The price also while still way above what would be considered affordable for someone like me, it's one step closer to making foldables mainstream. Thank you for the in-depth review Andrew!
Thank you sooooo much for this detailed review! I was hesitant to buy because i horrible experience with lenovo slim 9 when it comes to heating up!
I'm sold!
your reviews are the best in youtube and always fascinating me . thanks so much Mr. David 😊
Thanks 🙏
Nice PC for those who want a foldable unit. Camera and Mics are good. Display is good. Speakers sounded okay. The one big question with this and the other foldables is how long will the foldable screen (Will there be any cracks with the crease etc.) hold up over time and how will these manufacturers support the users regarding this potential issue. I guess time will tell. I hope these manufacturers will support the users if problems arise with the screen. Price on this is more reasonable than the HP Spectre foldable. If there is a demand for this I would not be surprised if HP reduces the price of the Spectre foldable over time. Anyway another great review.
Thanks William!
Great review! Thanks for posting this video.
Thanks for watching!
I love this formfactor, thank you for covering it! We have now 3 top products in this niche. Can't wait for the next steo: Power and accessibility. (Thinkpads gen2 version is still not available in europe)
The ThinkPad X1 Fold 16 is a very versatile device which can be used in a host of different ways. The internal webcam and array mics are decent. The internal speaker quality is passable, not earth shattering. The battery life can be better but gets a passing grade. All and all, this is a product that can be enjoyed by almost anyone and of course, it's from Lenovo! Excellent work Andrew!! 👍😁
that's a cool video! discovered you two weeks ago
could you pleease review the yoga slim 6 gen 8 14" amd 🙏🙏
You have gotten good!
Thanks
These Ultrabooks are all company books, what company is in to this concept ?
My Notebook is very conventional, not needing any weird features, draw on it, watch movies, who needs this in the Office enjoinment applications and utilities ?
Great Job Lenovo, it looks great.
I think a lot of ThinkPad people wouldn't mind having that just that keyboard!
Yep!
Will we have a Zenfone 14 vs Spectre 360 video?
One website of Lenovo said the micro SD slot is optional but it seems not.
Great review. Now I'm going to go to Lenovo to see what my true bottom line cost would be. There are always add-ons and maintenance contracts to drive the cost a lot higher than the $2500 starting price. I'd like to use thr 16.3" touchscreen in RUclipss, while sitting next to the screen. I don't know of a larger touchscreen OLED display.
Another alternative for a large touchscreen interactive display for RUclips is the new Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360, a clamshell with a 16.0" 3K (2880 x 1800) AMOLED touchscreen display without potential fold issues. It has an i7 processor and optional nVidia Geoforce 4070 gpu. But, when I select options and support, it prices out at $2000. It does give me the advantage of Samsung family interoperability. I will look to see if you have reviewed it yet.
PS: Remember when our main laptops had 15-16" screens, and Chrome netbooks had 12-13" screens?
Thanks a lot, I very much enjoy your reviews. I bought the fold but it will arrive only in 6 weeks. Is it possible to read books - say with kindle - like a book, meaning that it shows 2 pages?
Yes you can!
@@andrewmarcdavid great thanks! Now I look even more forward to it.
does the keyboard have backlight?
