Sega CD in almost every regard. Even those little intros before every boss battle in the GBA version are pretty unnecessary. The slightly washed our color pallet of the Sega CD version actually enhance the game rather than take away, and make Metro City look darker and more drab. Amazing port.

Although Mega CD is probably the best, from personal preference, I prefer the GBA port. Sure it might have the typical Nintendo censorship and that screen crunch I so hate, but I feel like it plays closer to the arcade, has extra SFA/Z based characters, and also has all of the new powerups Final Fight Guy (SNES) had. It even allows you to select difficulty if you felt the arcade was too much of a quarter muncher (which, as fun as it was, it definitely does punish you a lot for a single mistake. I know FFCD had that, but the difficulty is better balanced on GBA). That and I'm _really_ not a fan of the arranged soundtrack the Mega CD version has, which just goes to show CD quality audio is nothing to boast about.
Final Fight CD has this weird problem where it can't seem to handle processing more than one collision at a time which makes the whole thing seem really slow, especially when you're beating up two or three guys at once. The GBA version is definitely the better of the two.
Of course the Sega CD has the best version but the GBA one is a nice version to play on the go. The Street Fighter Alpha sprites are a nice touch even though they seem a bit out of place.
I might have owned a Sega CD myself(still love Thunderhawk), but would't know why 'of course', besides the smaller screen, he gba has more ram, stronger cpu, more colors... Street Fighter Alpha 3 really shows what the GBA was capable of and the Sega CD would not be able to do the same. Sure you have more diskspace, on the SEGA CD and have CD music, some mode 7 like ground scaling... But with the limited amount of ram is was not that much better than the Genesis and could not use that much else with all that extra storrage.
Nope, not even close buddy. I've played both versions. The Sega CD version is a clunker with sluggish collision detection and far less on screen enemies. The GBA version has the standard sprites. SFA Guy and Cody can be unlocked as bonus characters.
Final Fight CD is the second best. Final Fight One is the best because it is loaded with unlockables and relplayability. The only negatives for FFO are the graphics and sound.
It’s impressive to see that the Sega cd version has little details that were left out of tha gba version. For instance the alley just before fighting katana/sodom on the Sega version the guys with the incendiary sticks appear to attack guy yet are completely missing from the gba version. Things like that alone make the Sega cd version way better imo. It’s also impressive to think that the 8 year OLDER console has the better version and it’s not even a 32 bit system like the gba. For shame Nintendo/Capcom for shame....

@TrueSinister Actually this is how the timeline goes: • Street Fighter -> 1987 (During Fall in the Present) • Street Fighter Alpha -> 1988 (Several Months Later) • Street Fighter Alpha 2 -> 1988 (Retconned after SFA1) • Final Fight -> 1989 (According to the intro of the Japanese version) • Street Fighter Alpha 3 -> 1990 (Taking place two years after both SFA 1 & 2) • Street Fighter II -> 1993 (The 19-year-old Cammy White was recovering from being brainwashed for three years since SFA3 according to her bio in Super SFII) So Alpha Guy and Alpha Cody time jumped from 1990 back to 1989 in Final Fight One.

The GBA one is pretty nice!! Funny how you start as the Street Fighter ZERO/Alpha version of Guy...but is there some sorta time travel involved? The dialogue before fighting Sodom indicates that he's been pulled back in time...but chronologically, with Street Fighter ZERO1-3 all taking place between Street Fighter 1 & 2 (SSF2X)...there shouldn't be THAT big of a time jump to throw Guy off like that. I wonder if Cody has the same "problem" (I think that you start as ZERO3 Cody if you play as him) and if the story explains any of that... The Mega CD version is pretty nice, too.
You don't start with them, you need to unlock them. I don't know why the choice was to play as alpha guy on the comparison its very confusing but i guess its bait lol.
in fact, final fight takes place before the alpha series, so much so that after the final fight Guy will train and cody was arrested, it wouldn't make sense for the alpha series to take place before, since in alpha 3 they already know each other and are much older q at the end of the fight so it makes sense that they are surprised to be seeing the same bosses that they have faced a long time ago
While I don't really like playing the GBA version on such a small screen, I have to admit I think people are really underselling just by calling a slightly enhanced SNES port. It fixes all the major issues such as: -Almost no slowdown -Restores all three characters -Restores level openings -Restores cut level -Adds two player support
I love the intensity of the GBA game, but it was so unfortunate that it re-used the SNES tiles and sprites. It could have looked and animated so much better!
Todavia, as músicas do gba quase desanimam. Atualmente a melhor versão é a do Xbox final fight double impact. )
Bem melhor. A do Sega CD ficou bem capada.
She's playing the GBA game on the Game Boy Player. It was a handy piece of kit for the Gamecube, that add a Game Boy/Color/Advance cartridge slot to the bottom of the unit.
I slept on the GBA port. There was so much for the system that was exciting and fresh, that I couldn't be arsed to bother with a port of a twelve year old arcade game back then.
Unlike most people commenting here, I've played both versions and the GBA is a much better game. It's faster and the controls are smoother. The graphics and music aren't as good but I enjoy it much more, more than the arcade version too. Mega CD was impressive for its time but the animations between your player and the enemies is out of sync. This can be seen most clearly during throws but happens with every attack, enemies are a few frames delayed. I find that very distracting and I'm always amazed when no one else mentions it
A glimpse at to what the Sega CD library should have been like. Such a missed opportunity to release almost perfect conversions of early 90's Arcade Action, Fighting, Beat Em' Ups, Sports and Shoot Em Ups. I wanted ports of Cadillacs And Dinosaurs and Konami's Run and Gun not Night Trap and Make Your Own Music Video FMV crap.
FINAL FIGHT GRAPHICS COMPARISON Sega CD definitely Wins GBA Super Good and is more colorful I think both excellent MUSIC SOUNDS Sega CD soundtrack look fantastic + remixed GBA music sounds very bad , is ok i don't like it
Well it’s an interesting comparison. The Mega Cd version has higher resolution so the assets are more detailed, and a CD soundtrack and more intricate cinematics.
Nice that the GBA used the alpha guy sprite
Sega CD best sound voice and gameplay
The gameplay is extremely lacking in the Sega CD version. The game is extremely sluggish. It can't seem to process more than one collision at a time.
No, it's not. Worked perfect on my Mega CD.
Game Boy Advance (with a Gamecube photo and icon).
You are right, bro!
sega mega drive md 🤙🏻👌🏻👍🏻
clearly many things from the SNES have been reused at GBA
Hehehehehe... ✌️😂👍
Deve ter ficado com nojo.
@@alejandrogomessanchez9933, é nojento mas salva uma vida... kkkkkkkkk...
@@danielcpierrem É verdade.
While I don't really like playing the GBA version on such a small screen, I have to admit I think people are really underselling just by calling a slightly enhanced SNES port. It fixes all the major issues such as:
-Almost no slowdown
-Restores all three characters
-Restores level openings
-Restores cut level
-Adds two player support
1° Final Figit CD (Sega-CD)
2° Final Figit (Arcade)
3° Final Figit One (GBA)
4° Final Figit (Snes)
sharp x86000!
Well....No question the Sega Mega CD/Sega CD version is absolutely THE BEST!!!
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I love the intensity of the GBA game, but it was so unfortunate that it re-used the SNES tiles and sprites. It could have looked and animated so much better!
Funny how everyone has a shadow besides Guy. Also relatively seen Guy grew a lot, killing the 'big boss' vibe when fighting Trasher.
Odd how the Sega CD port still use Sodom's censored name (Katana) like the Super NES port whereas the GBA use the arcade original uncensored name.
Todavia, as músicas do gba quase desanimam.
Atualmente a melhor versão é a do Xbox final fight double impact.
Bem melhor. A do Sega CD ficou bem capada.
What’s the Gamecube for?
She's playing the GBA game on the Game Boy Player. It was a handy piece of kit for the Gamecube, that add a Game Boy/Color/Advance cartridge slot to the bottom of the unit.
Oye es Game boy avance o GC???... :/
SEGA CD 💙
BTW The GBA Double Dragon is the best one ever released
gba port is great. sega cd one nailes it. has a ''bigger'' look to it and my god the cd arranged soundtrack.
Sega CD Rocks!
I find that very distracting and I'm always amazed when no one else mentions it
I remember when I used to play this. Such good times👍👍👍
Nice porting for GBA
But, where is my Poison ?
She's in the Japanese version of it, sadly.
The GBA version is very different from the original version. It's a completely different game.
FINAL FIGHT GRAPHICS COMPARISON
Sega CD definitely Wins
GBA Super Good and is more colorful
I think both excellent
MUSIC SOUNDS
Sega CD soundtrack look fantastic + remixed
GBA music sounds very bad , is ok i don't like it
Sega CD WINS!!!
Sega CD
. Menus, cores e efeitos sonoros: GBA
. Músicas, animações e detalhes: Sega CD
Sega cd falta muita animaçao.
Nintendo vence
Five enemy sprites on screen at once on GBA. Correct me if wrong but I think FFCD caped out at four enemy sprites on screen.
0:10 Interesting that the GBA is using the KOF art style
But isn't This A Comparing A Portable Version With A Console Version?
Well it’s an interesting comparison. The Mega Cd version has higher resolution so the assets are more detailed, and a CD soundtrack and more intricate cinematics.
The GBA versions is more colourful, a little extra gameplay bells and whistles and more enemies on screen.
Personally the more detailed graphics do it for me, but I can see how people would prefer the GBA version.
why are you using a gamecube symbol for GBA?
Because its being played on the Game Boy Player, for the Game Cube.
