I liked Jade's response to the question about why she left AEW. She never buried them, she just needed the biggest platform in the time she has left as a talent. Really responsible and mature response. And for as much as AEW is slated, there you have 2 former stars at the top of WWE.

I got choked up hearing her say she was influenced by Chyna, thinking it’s sad that Chyna isn’t here to see the impact she had on girls like Jade.
And yet she chose to work for someone who's supposedly responsible for the decline of Chyna's mental health, what a wonderful way to pay homage
And Rhea. Chyna ushered a different breed of female superstar.

Chyna was terrible. Bad worker, bad on the mic, trashed the women's division just when it needed her.
The fact that, in technicality, Jade will be wrestling her first official debut match at MANIA of all places after just 3 years in the business is an open-and-close story within itself. The sky’s the limit for her. Future Hall of Famer.
That’s what I was thinking too. There’s some good talent in that match to work with. I loved Jade and wanna see her become something amazing.
If Jade comes out looking good in that match then the sky is the limit going forward.
If her debut match at mania is a flop, then there may be no coming back from that.

Before 5 mins even passed she made it clear she's not here in wrestling for a long time but a good time and use it as a stepping stone for what she really wants to do.....i can respect that
As she also pointed out, she's already in her 30s and she understands that at that age her window to pop is smaller for a woman than it might be for a man at that age.
She is absolutely BEDAZZLING, and I am referring to her confidence, charisma, being so well spoken, and her pride and respect for the business. She is incredible and is already a superstar.

I never thought about her age. She's not wrong about the entertainment industry. Movies, TV and wrestling love's women in their 20s. Jade has a window of opportunity. She has to take advantage of it while she can.

Get a clue. Trish recently came back and made her own ticket. Most wrestlers don't make it past 40 because the work is so hard but whenever one of the top women of the past come back they get paid huge and get major matches.

It was a dum question she was booked as the longest reigning TBS champion. Plus how many times is she going to be asked this? If I was doing an interview I will never ask questions that's been asked a million times.
@@philo2189she was booked better than 95% of the women’s roster, but that isn’t saying much at all. She had no stories really, just the streak. She may have had that, but most of her matches ended up being on Rampage or something. Even with that streak there was a ceiling. Not to mention the pathetic way that streak ended.
I think that because she has only appeared a couple times so far that some interviewers may not be able to think of much else to ask. Hopefully after she is a more regular presence the inclination to ask this question will fade away.
@@hectic105 I still wouldn't say aew dropped the ball. Because if they did they would'nt have brought her in and pushed her as a huge superstar signing. The only reason they presented her as such is because of the way aew booked her as this undefeated monster. If aew didn't exist she probably won't even be in WWE. And if she was she wouldn't have this presentation or this push. She would just be stuck in NXT for a good 3 plus years. So to ask if they dropped the ball on her is a strange question.

Mark Henry is one of my top 3 favorites growing along side Kane and Dolph, for him find talents like jade and binky really makes me praise him for opening the door because they are truly superstars and he saw it 👏🏽
Jade is clearly in incredible shape, but she’s also drop dead gorgeous, I mean seriously beautiful. And she always seems so present and kind in every interaction I’ve seen from her. I’m a huge fan of hers already

Jade could only get to her full potential in WWE. I love AEW probably more than WWE, but there's certain talent and wrestlers that just fit in certain companies. The production and presentation of Jade just works in WWE. I hope she reaches that potential cause she certainly has the look and confidence.
Agreed! Certain acts like MJF, The Acclaimed, The Gunn Club, now Swerve Strickland with the "WHO'S HOUSE?!"...will just do Way better with the WWE machine supporting their act and making them bigger and better. Unfortunately Tony doesn't Know how to do it and that's why they should leave.

I really respect she acknowledges her age and time to be that superstar. She is the one who will help and pave the way for newer younger talent when that crossroads is met. Jade is going to be in the Hall of Fame. She won't hog up air-time when there will clearly be new stars wanting what she is currently experiencing. Good for Jade WWE made a great decision
Jade’s a natural heal and I love it. She has that Stone Cold heal heat. Supposed to hate her, but damn she’s just to good not to like.
Jade has one of best physiques I ever seen
And also the most unnatural one for a a female. Many body builders have been taking PEDs to enhance their physique, many female body builders, and this is likely to be the case here as well.

Even when she was in AEW, she was always talking about the Jade brand, so it made sense for her to come to WWE because WWE is almost synonymous with wrestling. Like she said, time's not on her career's side - she's in her 30s and her career in wrestling is still very young. She needed the WWE machine to help her establish the Jade brand.

People with experience that can lead her through a WWE style match and make her look like a million bucks and teach her the finer points you can only learn by doing it in a larger than life setting. Then you send her to go against the younger talent that aren't quite there as far as being true veterans ..... Don't get me wrong Bianca and Rhea are really good but they aren't veterans that can teach and work around any weaknesses and highlight the strengths of their opponents ...... That takes experience and you can't teach experience you can only acquire it over time with hard work

This is my first time hearing her speak at least length wise and I love it the vertbrato, the confidence, betting on yourself and im just a sucker for people who bet on themselves.
I like that Jade is very honest about her biological clock as a woman most women are not realistic about it at all.
Yeah I really liked how honest she was with that answer. Instead of blowing smoke up the company's ass and giving a stereotypical answer, she was realistic about her age.
I don’t think it’s true that most women are not realistic about their bioglical clock though, I would argue it’s the opposite for most women. My gf freaked out 30 and wants to get pregnant but I convinced her to wait until she’s 35.

That was interesting to hear Jade admit that she shouldn't have been in that first match. She did get put out there too early, and I think that slowed her progression somewhat, but there is no question that she has "it". She looks and carries herself like a star. When she does gain some more experience and her in ring ability matches her presence, there will be no stopping her. Going to WWE was definitely the right move for her.

It was funny that Dave said that some guys are in the business for 10 to 15 years and finally get a WrestleMania match while Mark is sitting right next to him. Cause that’s what happened to Mark. Joined WWF in 96 and his first match one on one was against Undertaker at WM22. Lol

It's a shame how harsh they dropped the ball with Brit Baker because for a time she Was the best and got the reactions. It was a mistake not to keep her a Heel. She should have turned on Jamie out of jealousy to get back on top as champion and pushed her heel status further as DMD. Now we don't even see her anymore.

I think back at the first time I watched an episode of AEW...having been a fan of WWE for 20 years and wanting to check out what all the hype was about, looking for an alternative, looking to see if there was anyone who had that star power persona like most WWE superstars. I don't remember anything about it EXCEPT when Jade came on screen in an interview segment. I was like...WOW...this person is a star! I don't think I have ever had that reaction to seeing a wrestler for the first time before (except AJ Styles in TNA). Mind you, this was when they were 'telling' the fans who the biggest women wrestlers in that company were supposed to be.
