A full bridge design has nothing to do with an amp being full range or not. You explained what a full range amp is, nothing about what makes it full bridge.

From what i can tell Down for Sound is doing a good thing for car audio.its like back in the day noise ordinaces killed our car audio community im hapoy to see its back and better than ever.Also the shared knowledge and innovation thumbs up
Nice vid just wish u would've done the internals of the full bridge vs half bridge design wise.
i love full bridge because :
1. cheap, good bank for your buck.
2. super super powerful.
3. small chassis. easy installation
4. 90% fullbridge amp come with internal fan for better cooling.
5. full bridge from taramps + soundigital + stetsom and some another brands has a fullbridge but not a fullrange, specialist for subwoofers for low freq. same as normal monoblock half bridge design. sundown sfb just have a fullrange.
Full Bridge amplifiers are literally two half bridge amps strapped on one board wired in a push pull configuration. Half bridge are longer and heavier than full bridge because of all of the additional voltage and filtering needed achieve the same wattage of a full bridge due to the design of a half bridge. The reason a full bridge can't be wired below it's rated ohm load isn't because the design is crap it's because each half of the full bridge is already at .5 where this isn't a problem with half-bridge. Most full bridge get a bad wrap because the build houses are ordered to use cheap affordable parts which is 0 reflection on the topology of the amplifier and more on the companies ordering these amps and not wanting to put the money in them to up the quality.
JL Audio has produced some quality Full Bridge amps. JP literally just explained the difference between full range and a limited range amp. LOL

@@djlolerkoster I am saying that JP didn't explain what a full bridge amp is, he explained what full range is. Full bridge amps are typically produced to be cheap, but there have been some awesome full bridge designs from companies like JL. I bet I could present on the difference between full bridge and half better than you.

Hey can you make a video of difference between mid range Speakers and mid bass Speakers
I kinda want to know more about this. All I know is that mid bass speakers can only play up to 5000hz depending on the speaker. And down to 30hz
Midrange speaker play higher frequency. While midbass speakers sound more punchy less voice.

How can I run a mechman 370 gm 2 pin alternator as a second alternator just for my bass? I have a dual alt bracket and have an xs power d3400 battery with two ioxus ultracap banks completely for my system. Stock battery and stock alt for running the truck. Thanks for the content.

Thats good comment.i pay close attention when im looking for an amp and only a handfull of companies list damping factor.most nowadays have above 100 and 300 or 400 are the high end amps mainly korean.But jl amps have 1000 damping factor

I have the incriminator 15.1 and was looking fir another but wound up with senergy 15.2 i think its full bridge.i prefer half bridge i hope tge senergy is a good amp
Yep full bridge is a 2 channel internally bridged to one channel and due to that topology they cannot be strapped.
Another knowledge 💣 with jp..💥💥👍i got my subs on a taramps but i have 4 doors and 2 tweeters..im going to get an amp for the 4 door speakers..my question is what do i do with my 2 tweeters?keep them hooked up to head unit?
run them on the amplified channel with the door speakers with an "inline" crossover splitting the door speaker and the tweeter frequency ranges, tweeters hooked to a regular signal with no frequency filtering can blow easily, I think its how I blew one of mine lol
JP I was watching a Video from Parker the Bass head and That ZV6 12' Sub He got from down from sound is So bad ass. However, Parker the bass head got a little too excited with it and the coil got unwound. Is there anything we could do for this young bass head.please let e know as well. I love down for shop Ive definitely bought a few things from you in the past.....

Class ab amplifier is for mids better sound. Class d amplifier is for woofers. But now they started making some cleaner Class d amplifier.

Everybody flocked to the full bridge got all set up popped them all and now there back to getting big Korean half bridges again! I never switched still got my DC work horse and my JL HD1200/1! It’s a full range amp but not full bridge!
