Been hooping in these for 2 months now. Super comfy, great traction, great impact protection and bouncy with no foot or knee pain and feel less fatigued and still super bouncy after playing for a long time. I did not like the shoe at first and none of the stuff I mentioned worked until I did this: move the plastic piece up 1 lace for better lockdown support and you got 1 of the best hoop shoes of the year.

I've owned 3 pairs of the curry 8 but it was never right because I skimped and bought used versions. 1st pair had a hole in the toe bought it in the dark and got to excited when it fit. 2nd pair was too small and hurt my toes (probs cause of the traction too) but was in great condition. 3rd pair was too large and even though it was a great fit when I put my insole in it I would twist my ankle a lot from just normal running so I just gave it to my brother. I was very suprised to see that the curry 10 was in stock in my size at footlocker online and after plenty of contemplation I finally decided that I was worthy of the new currys. Supposed to come January 3rd, and I am so excited! I haven't had a new pair of shoes since high school around 6 years ago, and this is also the first pair I've bought new with my own money (money I earned from teaching basketball to kids so it's truly full circle).
Reminder for young hoopers: the shoe is probably 5% of the battle, I've hooped in nike hightops and trail runners when I started playing and it didn't impact my performance in the least. If money is an issue don't feel like you need the newest shoe to play your best. Read the reviews and invest in the tried and true older and/or cheaper models. If i ended up broke tommorow, I would refund these currys and play in my 6yearold pg1s knowing I would be just fine doing the same moves I do cause they'll grip the court (eventually) and won't sprain my ankle cause of the instability. Buying used like me isn't always a nightmare, but three things are non-negotiables for me now: 1. size (also check online if the shoe runs true to size or not) 2. aunthetic (not a fake) 3. condition (especially in the outsole) is like new. You know what's cooler than having the newest shoe? Playing better. Priotize investing in your game (rep, lessons, competitive runs, leagues, camps) before the shoes if money's tight..

@@imcjsombillo i had the curry 8s not the 4s so I wouldn't know. My suggestion is see if the curry 4s run "true to size" or not. You can check online by searching "curry 4 sizing" or fit. They say that the curry 10s run true to size so if the curry 4s run the same way then stick with the same size. I hope this helps!

Play on 4 different indoor courts 2 clean and 2 horrible HS courts, flow absolutely locked in all the time. Flow is goat level traction, love these shoes. Northern Lights colorway incoming to rotation.
Played in the flowtro 4s for the first time! Its good and its very light i think they just need a new look for flow outsole wise. I want them to release the flowtro 1 MI:30 as it was my bery first pair of the 1’s and it looks nice 😂

@@imcjsombillo hello ceejay! I think you can go true to size in the 10’s tho if you havr a wide foot you should try it on just to be sure. I myself has wide feet and have a hard time getting the 4 flotro on. But once its on its on 🤣🤣🤣🤣

@@terrencerefendor2409 there is no available curry 10 right now so I tried curry 1 low flow instead since I think their both low cut since i am size 10.5 on the curry 4 I tried the sz 10 for curry 1 low but a little snug so I think im for a true to size which is 10.5.. hehe

👍🏻Good review! I have 1 pair of these, the blue sour patch cw but it won't be my last pair 😂. I usually get 2-3 pairs of Curry sigs per season. After trying the Curry 8 team (which I received for free from my school) I've been hooked on the flow traction/court feel. I've been copping the flashier cw's when I can...I have 2x pair of the women's day 9's and have a team issued Curry 9 Team that I received from my team this year. UA and the Curry brand is perfect for my game which is predicated by shooting and running around like any offense proficient shooting guard. Haha I got the vintage Reggie Miller body type and all..lol. UA's are great. So are their playmaker socks..I prefer them over my Adidas 365, Point 3 impact, Nike Elite most days I'm hooping. *I train in Adidas, Nike and Jordan Brand shoes too because I'm always getting new shoes in the mail like Sammy.. The Flow midsole/outsole shoes don't last long regardless of what court you play on so I try to get multiple pairs and train in rubber outsoled shoes most of the time.

I lost a toenail to playing in my curry 9’s. I usually wear a size 12 but I bought a 12.5 and that stopped the issue of my toes hurting at the end of games. Should I buy the curry 10’s in a 12.5??
