Seems like just yesterday I was looking at your review for the curry 3! Can’t believe it’s been so long and the line has come so far from the Anafoam, Speedflow and MicroG OG models
Love playing in the 8s. When ppl ask me about Flow i describe it as almost a firm react?…but you and mrs wing described it perfect saying its just smooth.
Wide footer here, going true to size for the Curry 8 was snug all over and you will feel your feet cramping and losing blood flow just after a couple of minutes wearing the shoes so I went to replace to up half a size, and the fit felt a little roomy/sloppy on the forefoot but thicker socks should do the trick but might compensate ventilation or you can swap-in a thicker insole but heel lock down might be an issue. Can't wait to try these on.
I tell you what guys watching your videos in the morning definitely puts a smile on my face not that Im an Under Armour fan or anyting but just the fact that I enjoy looking at shoes and learning things about shoes that I didn't know prior even if it's something stupid lol . Great video, thanks
As a wide footer, i bought a Size 11 in the Curry 8s ( I wear stance basketball socks) and they fit perfectly. (My true size is 10.5) So hoping that a size 11 in the Curry 9s will be just as amazing! That cookie monster colorway is the one im eyeballing hard because COOOKIESS
fuzzy part is not only dope but unique nd different. Oh also go wit the theme of the collab soo yea overall dope feature on a basketball shoe, an steph/ UA shoe so keep that in mind. Proud of steph nd dis colorway.💪🏾👌🏾
I went up US9 (I'm normally an 8 or 8.5) in Curry 8, and I wish I gotten a smaller size. The fabric on top loosened for me and gave me the floaty feeling above my toes. Hope the Curry 9 top material is as sturdy as the reviews say it is! Thanks for the video!
Didn't notice the bay bridge until you mentioned it, Jodi-Jo. I would say that the blue is much lighter in real life than in the videos. I really like the fit, I went half size up. It is surprisingly light but I am used to Curry 1 - 3, models I actually own and have seen in real life.
I really like the curry flow 8s, performance and design wise. Only problem was durability. The flow cushion / soles got ripped apart likes its torn out. the tear was on both shoes near the plate. I dont know how to feel about the 9s with the same set up. I really liked the performance on it its just the durability for $160. had the 8s for 2 months (6-8 hours per week) before it got ripped.
Not all of them have "Muppet Carcass" the count, big bird, and Oscar the grouch ones won't have it. I actually love these colorways. Way better than his other releases
Anyone else feel that aesthetic wise these shoes *look* like they have great specs but also don't look like hoop shoes at all? Not a bad design, just looks more like something I'd be happy to wear on a run by the beach rather than for hooping.

I thought the Sesame Street collab was interesting, but I LOVE IT! I’m a huge fan so this was a welcomed approach. I’m digging the design of the second one especially because of the layers and panels. Happy to hear these are bad boys!
Curry have one called Elmo. Most places I went to don't even carry the Curry 9. They have the Jordans. I had to order mine from Under Armour. $160 plus tax. You looking around almost $180. I think it looks better than the Jordans.
I don’t know if you play Pickel ball yet. But the Kyrie 3 grip are monster on the Pickel ball court. I tried these on but I bought the Donavin Mitchel 3s . Which I also watched your video before I bought them.
They were comfortable for sure, but playing in them killed the arches of my feet for some reason. Which I've never had any arch issues in any other shoes. 🤷🏻♂️
Is that the box they all come in? Or were those specialty sent out to reviewers or something? they look really cool. I have curry 8s that are still good condition so I might just wait til the curry 10 or clearance curry 9s. Also I cant believe these the first time you tried flow inside. It is crazy traction.
If companies did pre-order like you do so many people wouldn't have to pay resale, I hate it, I am trying to cop the Jordan 28 and everything is over retail terribly
I been wanting to try these but as an older player with a bigger frame (190pnds) I don’t feel as if the flow set up would meet my needs. But it’d be the traction for me 😫😅 def recommended these to some of my younger/lighter friends.
Are these still without a separated tongue? The earlier currys were for everyone. Thes new models are no option if you have for example long and thin feet (I'vegot a size 15). I had a few of them but got tired of all the uncomfortable wrinkles that were forming when I was getting in to them
The tongue is too much for me. But the cw looks good. Can’t wait foe the full review. I don’t buy from resell. I still prefer to get my pairs from stores.
Finally got a pair recently and man am I disappointed. For some reason these got NO GRIP AT ALL! I’m playing indoor and I was straight up skating out there wearing these! Switched to my good old curry 6 after one game just to be sure there wasn’t something wrong with the floor. Not sure how these were considered grippy here, but I’m returning mine.
try playing alot more either outside or walking in them to get that outer layer on the outsole off. Generally a lot of basketball shoes need to be broken in before the grip kicks in.

@@chaos1641 tried a few more times and I ended up returning these. Still slippery especially around the inner front foot. It might because the floor I play at is a little dusty and pretty slippery overall. But the curry 6 still performed way better. It’s a shame I couldn’t wear these.
I’m not feeling the Sesame Street theme. I’m still pissed at the limited release of the We Believe color way. I just want color ways that I can match with my Warriors jersey collection. Please release a true Dub Nation edition of the 9’s UA.

I like basketball shoes which are more like running shoes but still provide stability. There is really no need for big and clunky stiff shoes .

I assumed that the colored midsole is a different density or foam. Hoping for a forefoot cushion i guess.

This reminds me of the kobe 8 and kobe 9, which was very similar but the 9 was more solid overall
My only complaint with the 8's was the terrible outsole durability.. fantastic to play in though.
Not a fan of the Sesame Street colorways but I love WARP and Flow. When the regular colorways come out, I'll buy one.
They were comfortable for sure, but playing in them killed the arches of my feet for some reason. Which I've never had any arch issues in any other shoes. 🤷🏻♂️
