It's a exsteamly difficult job to pick a Marcus favorite solo because each one out does the last than you go back and that one out does the one you just listen too therefore Marcus is the pingpong champ of drum solos you just back and forth😀👂👍

He said he learned from his grandfather organically, through all their relating and talking about the music. One day when he was 14, we were walking and talking and I chuckled, he said, “ Oh wow, the rythm of your laugh was just like Buddy Rich’s solo on ...” . Make no mistake about it, he listens and he learns.
