I'm glad you explained that they wash dishes in that sink -- that explains why the gunk in the drain line was so greasy -- it's all food residue. Another good learning video for us YT apprentices. Thanks Steve
Wow Steve! I watched the video last night and still can't keep it out of my head. I don't think I could have finished the job. Have you thought about putting a Tychem suit in your truck? Cost less then $10 and it's hot but would let you slosh around in that chit and then you could just toss it when finished- charge extra $100 for hazardous work site. I think the fact that someone lives there bothers me the most. If it was the bottom of a dumpster I'd probably just chalk it up to it is what it is but wow, someone lives like that.
That house needs a wrecking ball more than anything else... Look at that damn roll of toilet paper under the sink... Unbelievable some people. Great work as usual steve you're the man!
That's some video, Steven. I mean, they know you're coming to work on this stuff. Should have broke out the scrubbing bubbles and bleach before you arrived at the crime scene!
we had some toilet backup issues at home...had the city and county out...they ended up digging a hole in the yard and found some blockages in the sanitary sewer...next level!
steve you are a better man than me - wow what a bathroom; this is one of the phone numbers you block on you phone as soon as you pull away from the house.
I don't get how people can live like this ... more power to you brotha.... I have walked out of places like this ... but if your doing work for a landlord totally understandable!!! Gotta deal with it then!!! Nex level momma nex level !!!
Steve , if someone took all your Douglas pliers away from you , you'd have to retire wouldn't you ...lol ... also look in to a SCUBA suit ... fresh air ...just sayin' ...
Wow Steve we're plumbers so we work around toilets that's in the job description and we accept sometimes things get messy or as you say "nasty". But gotta be honest I would have refused to work in those conditions, its a health hazard for you, blue gloves or not!
Holy shit show momma, that place needs to be condemed. I would seriously be afraid of dying from going in there, no telling what diseases is in there, anything from black mold to God knows what. Sad to see those old people living like that, they definitely need help and obviously cannot take care of themselves, they need to be put into an assisted living.
What the hell do people really live this way like a truck stop bathroom I would have told them before I do anything you need to clean up first cause man that is one nasty bathroom I am surprised you didn't find a floater in the toilet LOL
I suppose it's safe to say by now that these people were disqualified from receiving The Good Housekeeping seal of approval ? I have actually seen worse, believe it or not .
That place was the epitome of nasty! Why do I wear gloves is first level. Why do I wear a hazmat suit is second. I think we'll kick this one up to "why do I get a tetanus shot"! You got it done even though it was nasty! 😷. Good job Steve!
DAMN! I had to wear goggles just to watch this video. Nice work Steve.
OMG. I had to take a shower after just watching this.
I'm glad you explained that they wash dishes in that sink -- that explains why the gunk in the drain line was so greasy -- it's all food residue. Another good learning video for us YT apprentices. Thanks Steve
Now that is adverse working conditions! Nice job bringing back functionality to that dunny. I am learning a ton from you Steve. Thanks !
That toilet paper roll in the cabinet .....people....
Jim Rr it’s out control straight up rotted how do you let toilet paper get mold it should be a sin at least a misdemeanor 😂😂
@@gyver471 That had to have been at least a week leaving that sink like that. But in a basement mold grows quick in moisture.
LOL pigs!
Great job Steve. Now, we spell it "cellar"
Steve they had to take the cap off so they could mash the food from the supper dishes down the drain! Next Level Mama!
😂😂😂
Flies in winter, nice!
Steve, unbelievable what a mess ! Your a good teacher on how to approach the repairs!
You even had a fly trying to buddy up with you on that one!
I think I would have charged hazzard pay for this job lol
That's one were you need to double up the gloves, nasty stuff!!
Wow Steve! I watched the video last night and still can't keep it out of my head. I don't think I could have finished the job. Have you thought about putting a Tychem suit in your truck? Its called poverty 😔.
Doesn't look like they cleaned that bathroom since you installed the vanity! "Why do you wear gloves" LOL
The only time my family did wash dishes in the bathroom was during the kitchen renovation.
That's some video, Steven. I mean, they know you're coming to work on this stuff. Should have broke out the scrubbing bubbles and bleach before you arrived at the crime scene!
nice how can people live that way thanks for all the videos Steve.
damn! screw the gloves, hazmat suit
You earn every penny Steve !!!!!
Health hazard, that was nasty bathroom. Gag a maggot.. Good job on fixin' it.
January in Massachusetts. That fly is a survivor.
Bloody ell what a mess!!!!!Steve you did a good job plumbers I know would've just walked away thanks for video mate
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and I have learned a few things here.
Where did you get that hand pump or did you make it ? If so can you do a quick video on it so I could make one
Good job. Everyone needs to join the blue glove club asap.
Steve do you get regular tetanus shots? Some of these "Taj Mahals", Jesus. Keep up the good work.
we had some toilet backup issues at home...had the city and county out...they ended up digging a hole in the yard and found some blockages in the sanitary sewer...next level!
steve you are a better man than me - wow what a bathroom; this is one of the phone numbers you block on you phone as soon as you pull away from the house.
That place is covered in mold, lead paint, and they probably crapped on the wall while they were doing dishes, LOL!
Just curious Steve, how often do you sterilize and lubricate your hand tools?
I love your videos because they are real world stuff, keep rocking man.
Great videos. Keep them coming. !!
Good video bro!!! I like disconnecting the supply line and running the water from there but then again sometimes angle stop doesn't shut off hahah
Forget flushing the toilet, whole place needs to be flushed--lol
lmao
Next level disgusting! Unbelievable what some people will live in??? Does not even look safe for habitation. Nice work on the repairs.
You seem shell shocked..........like a guy after battle.
The good, the bad and the ugly i love it
Will Sears provide a new Craftsman screwdriver after this job is over........??
Steve HARD working again !!! 😰
was that a toilet paper roll under the sink? you earned your money on this one Steve!!!
Almost got sick watching this one Steve. What a dump. So filthy! Can't believe that let the old woman live in those conditions!
wow you walked into a disaster there Steve. good fixes though!
Nasty!, the dark side of plumbing!
Hey, I recognize that place. Just the other day I watched the video where you installed that sink!
Ez is smart good tip W / the water hose b4 reinstalling trap
good vid Steve. what's a "ceiler dweller"? is that some sort of old school term?
ok, thanks. that had me confused.
32 minutes in Hades. I think plumbers develop good immune systems.
you work fast and get the hell out of there. another nasty great vid steven
Down right disgusting! Great job, Steve.
I love the hose adapter I have to make one of those
You know no one will clean that bathroom Steve,I've seen this too many times!
Wow, that bathroom was dirty. I hate unclogging drains, but unfortunately it comes with the territory. I don't blame you for wearing rubber gloves.
Vicks Vapor rub, a little under the nose helps with the smell. Learned that one from a medical examiner.
Yep used that trick before!!
I too used the Vicks Vapor rub.... which I learned from the M.E. on my first 5292 in the city...
Wow!
I don't get how people can live like this ... more power to you brotha.... I have walked out of places like this ... but if your doing work for a landlord totally understandable!!! Gotta deal with it then!!! Nex level momma nex level !!!
What happened to that roll of toilet paper?
who's this guy where'd steve go??????
Next level Steve
unbelievable
Did those people pay you? What a disgusting situation.
What kind of place is this?
that's why you get the professionals in
Dang it I hate when the plunger doesn't work!
Hazmat suit and respirator would be appropriate
Didn’t know you worked inside septic tanks, how can people live like that
I think I would have called for a dumpster to gut the bathroom, not a plumber.
That $125.00 service call would cost them $375.00 hazardous conditions. How do people live in such filth?
The same nasty toilet paper spare under sink NASSSSSSTY. like the bathroom in biker bar lol
It never ceases to amaze me how much filth some people live in lol
I'll bet they have a huge cable TV bill each month. Too bad Molly Maid doesn't get a chance to work in there.
Ohhh. don´t people clean their bathrooms? No love there!, I think that spare toilet roll is done too?
Steve is working again mama....
Where did you get that hand pump for the drains? I have looked around but can't find one. Did you charge hazardous pay for this job? Haha!
You almost need to throw your tools away after that job.
I don’t care for Kohler much either. Seems like their engineers always are trying to reinvent the wheel.
That's worse than a public toilet on a side road in Mexico.
Oh man! I had to put on gloves to watch that. Nasty You have a lot of patience Steve..
How about that rotten pre-crapped roll of toilet tissue under the sink.
Looks like a 6 glove job.
8ml thick lol
On jobs like that, I'd keep a plastic cloth in the truck and sit on it on the way home.
Saw a fly throwing up
Steve , if someone took all your Douglas pliers away from you , you'd have to retire wouldn't you ...lol ... also look in to a SCUBA suit ... fresh air ...just sayin' ...
looks like a rat was having a tug-o-war there, Niglio.
So you want to be a plumber huh? No thanks! LOL "the blue glove club"😂
Man these are some nasty places you have to work in Steve!
dose wallz looken great!!
never mind a plumber. That house needs to be demoed
Should of had a HazMat suit on! That was nasty!
Wow Steve we're plumbers so we work around toilets that's in the job description and we accept sometimes things get messy or as you say "nasty". But gotta be honest I would have refused to work in those conditions, its a health hazard for you, blue gloves or not!
shizz mo nizzle............dere was bugz under dere!!
Holy shit show momma, that place needs to be condemed. I would seriously be afraid of dying from going in there, no telling what diseases is in there, anything from black mold to God knows what. I now know where nightmares come from :(
I suppose it's safe to say by now that these people were disqualified from receiving The Good Housekeeping seal of approval ? I have actually seen worse, believe it or not .
Washing greasy dishes and the grease has congealed in the pipes!..Need a laundry sink to wash dishes in...not a bathroom sink
So let's see ..... Who is still going to become a plumber?😂🤢🤮
it's movies like that that me feel bad for the work'in man, Niglio.
uncle Steve u going to call me or not I'm waiting
the old gundy mama! what a mess.
How do you keep you lunch down?
That place was the epitome of nasty! Why do I wear gloves is first level. Why do I wear a hazmat suit is second. I think we'll kick this one up to "why do I get a tetanus shot"! You got it done even though it was nasty! 😷. Good job Steve!
