Great video and thanks for the updates. It would be nice to know where you're filming at. But I understand that you don't want to be inundated by a bunch of yahoo RUclipsrs. But how about after you leave, you give the location so we can all enjoy going there ourselves? Cheers!
Yes the underwater/explanatory look at things was so interesting!!! More please but on both channels would love to see Fran doing it she’s so special with the animals
U guys are inspiring. I'm 70 and after raising 4 kids, feeding, clothing, and housing them I nearly ran out of time to do some fairdinkum adventuring. We have traveled the world and done some amazing stuff. But u guys have taken it to another level. I reckon I still got a few years left to attempt some serious back-to-basics. Love ur work guys....
I especially appreciate the commentary from you on the symbiotic relationship between two different species of aquatic animals- really useful and enlightening stuff!
Symbiotic relationships - a great description of Strick and Fran. Keep the information, adventures and your enthusiasm coming. Life is grand in Australia.
The opening of this video is the most Australian thing I've ever heard: "There's a BILLION DOLLAH fish and we're gonna try to catch it!" I love this show
Love the nature segments. I'm 72 and I haven't found it hard to follow. 😅 Keep'em coming gang. To show me things and take me places I would have never known or seen. Thanks.
Thanks for another fun video, your energy and enthusiasm for nature is contagious! With that being said, as some other people have pointed out in the comments, The Great Adventure content is much better than what you are doing now. One reason is the variety of content, because you were moving around a lot on the boat, so we got to see many different places, but even more important than that, it was the story of the great adventure that was so compelling. So that's my recommendation: rather than simply making cool nature videos, tap in to your current storyline, or create a new one, and take us on that ride. Your story, including your own struggles and triumphs, Fran's story, with her struggles and triumphs, and your relationship story, with its struggles and triumphs. You don't need to explicitly describe the stories, but simply show them to us. Ultimately, we can watch anyone fishing on an island or spearfishing. What makes us want to watch you is your amazing personalities and the stories of your lives and adventures. With great respect. 🙏🏻
This is well put along with... I love the moments of your nature documentaries along the way. I think in our competitive world often we take an either or view and end up trying to compete against each other what actually is(or could be) a beautiful symbiotic relationship, just like your Gobi and pistol shrimp. It really is the relationship of you and Fran and the relationship you both have with nature that brings me here to watch. I can watch planet Earth and I can watch spearfishing but to see the passion along with the adventure in nature, well that's why I come here. I honestly believe you guys are doing more for promoting the authentic view of loving the world we live in than most commercialized attempts. Just keep being you!!!
The nature shots are great!!! More Please! Good to see Fran and can't wait for the next adventure. Stay safe and remember an episode isn't worth a life.
Frankly I'm so shallow that beaches, blue sky and Coconut palms are pretty much all I need. I'd love to see more nature,(nudibranchs would be great) and it would be nice if you sent it wide searching for more pelagics. Oh and Fran should definitely be getting top billing. I've read your comment sections too. LOL!
Oh my goodness. You must be ready to catch you’re most prized fish in the world, and she just happened to be a human…Fran, has the whole package, don’t mess that up now. You and Fran and friends remind me of the good old days on the Big Island and our trips to Palau. I would love to do a trip with you guys, let’s get the perfect boat and go. Love you energy and sense of adventure…Elena from California
Your joy came through my laptop when you caught that large bonefish...love your channels...just gotta say I really enjoy Fran...maybe you can let her come along every show or two...she's a gem and so so kind...you're a lucky man😀
Another great episode! I love learning about nature and marine life. You make it very interesting, exciting , and are a natural on camera. I live in the middle of the prairies with only a lake or two nearby, so I look forward to each episode, "back to basics" and "the castaways". Love you guys!
Im subscribed to both channels, and they are all GREAT so a THANK YOU. From your fans here in the central Florida swamps we love y'all. Stay safe 👍🏻👍🏻💕🐾
Awesome video! I’m doing pretty good at keeping up with the different channels lol, looking forward to that new great adventure! Merry Christmas and happy new year a little early!
Well done, Strick. Good concept to split it up. I for one knew Fran was still about. Even in this episode, I heard her laugh in the background at one point. Lol. It has been interesting seeing some of the comments. Guessing a few of the dreamers thought Fran and you had split, so they were gonna throw their hat into the ring and chase her up! Lol. Dream on, Boys! 😂😂 Love your work, Mate. Enjoy ALL the channel variety. Wether it’s Castaways, Solo Strick, or Az in the big boat. Brilliant, all of it. Ok…off to check out the “Castaways” now. I’ve got a Cold beer, on a warm Sunday here in Koonya. Looking forward to the adventures. Rob, Tasmania
DEFINITELY appreciate the bits of nature information. I'd love to hear more of that. Glad to hear that nothing has happened with anyone's health or happiness. I'm sure this can be very taxing to create and hope that the two of you are able to focus on your personal happiness before making pretty videos for us to enjoy. As ever, thank you for sharing your journey. 😊
Bluefin Trevally (omilu) & Bone Fish (oio) are loved by fisherman here in Hawaii. Mainlanders are afraid to eat bonefish but all you really have to do is scrape the meat with a spoon to make fish patties. Or you can cut off the tail & take a tolling pin to squeeze out the meat like toothpaste. Frying is the default way to cook either
This episode was so cool, the bone fish I had no idea they were so incredibly great fighters.the nature segments were fantastic,I really liked them.thanks for another great episode.😊☮️
Oooooooo, so many fascinating creatures and details in this video! Fantastic. In earlier episodes I learned about bony fish, but here you gave more details as well as showed my favorite sport item - SUP :) . So many hours put to get Mantis Shrimp - awesome results. Can't wait to see next episodes about Sea Turtles (do you know how many people around world adore turtles?), Giant Trevally, Black Tip Shark, Island Rat and whatever other species you choose.
Guys I love all ur work All of it is epic love ads new farm stuff and the both channels u and Fran are doing love it all I enjoy every episode thanks for sharing ur amazing adventures and skills with us 🙏🙏❤️🤙🇦🇺
Such amazing and inspiring stories and cinematography!!😍😌You guys are real pros at making us feel right there with you! The sights, smells, feelings...you make watching this on my iPhone, just as experience-filled as watching on an IMAX Movie Screen or in the shallows of the lagoon!! Thank you for making our days easier by providing an escape from the normal routine!! I never thought a place like this truly existed! Can you share the general geolocation of this paradise without giving away too much? 😇
Hey guys I love your channel. Fishing on the paddle board is not easy to do. Maybe tie together some log poles and make a raft that will be more stable and the gear will stay in place. Its just my opinion, have a great day !
Absolutely love you 2 and the awesome footage you provide for us viewers so thank you... PS... I think you 2 should get married one day you 2 just fit together so well ♥️🙏🏼
I won't lie...Fran is a big draw. But you know that :) However, you are one of the most enthusiastic, fun, passionate, daring and knowledgable you tubers out there. I love nature, I love learning about animals I never heard of before, and I love the determination you show in finding them to show us. Your natural and energetic presenting skills make every episode great and while I love the animal segments, I love seeing you and Fran exploring and living and surviving out there. 2 channels is fine by me I have really enjoyed seeing you fight with the bonefish and sharks today. Keep up the great work mate
I really enjoy watching your episodes, very informative. Where did you and Az get your latest hats from? What brand are they? They look sum smart for ozzie conditions.
Can't believe we get this amazing channel for FREE. Now might be the time Viewer's,... to stop WHINING. These guys are not a film production company. No Starlink, remote WiFi etc. Understand the logistics. And please don't treat Fran like an object in your comments. Respect, not DROOLING.
So you came full circle on the glorified mullet. There was so much that I liked about the first part of the bone fish story. The fact you weren't in awe of the fish and then you went ahead and ate it which was the most epic part. The Billion Dollar Industry surrounding fishing for bone fish must have had a near death experience watching that meal. I loved the "Glorified Mullet'. I would buy merch. with "Glorified Mullet" then showing a bone fish imposed on top of the meal. So you wanabe be a gangster?
Thanks for watching! Let me know if you enjoyed the Nature segments and I'll try film more like this :)
Absolutely loved it! More underwater footage please.
Great video and thanks for the updates. It would be nice to know where you're filming at. But I understand that you don't want to be inundated by a bunch of yahoo RUclipsrs. But how about after you leave, you give the location so we can all enjoy going there ourselves? Cheers!
Absolutely loved it incredible footage of such interesting animals, your work is amazing and look forward to it every weekend!
Yes! Loved the nature focus. But thanks also for the updates. Have been enjoying all the B2B adventures for some time now!
Yes the underwater/explanatory look at things was so interesting!!! More please but on both channels would love to see Fran doing it she’s so special with the animals

I bet you could fassion an outrigger for your paddleboard. It would be a lot more stable fir casting and fighting strong fish.
Forget BHP.. what about BFP? Bone Fish Power? Get 10 of those bad boys and power your boat? 😀😀😀
More underwater nature for sure!!!
I loved the nature the filming and story was great and knowledge
Pls do a show with Netflix .. You both are awesome.
Great nature shots David Attenborough would be proud of you. Apologise to the mullet they taste better than bonefish.
