That's Recreational "Activity" Vehicle not "Active". I purchased the TRAIL model last month. Love it! Love the new look/design - That's what sold me :) The drive/handling is very nice/smooth. Engine is noisy on acceleration. Same engine and transmission as Camry so not worried about its reliability.
I feel really sad for Subaru Forester. They had such a good chance to really bring something new and exciting(at least interesting), but they totally screwed their chance with the new 2019 model. This RAV-4 on the other hand, is like a dream come true. Smaller outside, bigger inside, new engine, so many options to choose from and for the 1st time ever, an equally solid all wheel off road version as Forester. In short, 2019 is going to be the year Subaru will start going the Saab way.
toyota have issues with what data google collects while using carplay, toyota is already coordinating with google about this and carplay will be available as soon as the issue is settled.
It was something about Google stealing data of Toyota customers through Android Auto so Toyota is probably working with Google to ensure no more data is compromised. After that they'll roll out Android Auto.

I wish they would rely on high school students for their future vehicle design. There's no way they could do worse. This thing looks like a cross between a dump truck and a corolla!

The old RAV4 has a hideous front and odd ledge for the taillight rear. It suppose it looks better if you are a current owner. I could save 3K right now with the 2018 sales but choose to to wait for the 2019 hybrid.
that infotainment screen is hideously placed and the word is the designer responsible has been forced to commit harikari and a rework will appear posthaste thank god, what a disaster

Worst car I ever bought.... waited 4 months to get RAV 4 XSE Hybrid 2019, and the brand new vehicle has been sitting in the dealership for more than 2 months waiting for parts. Purchased in January, delivered in April, returned to the dealership's shop in May for parts and car is not drivalble. Today, Mid-July Toyota is saying parts are back ordered for another 4 months!!! Stay away from Toyota. Cannot pump more than 9 gallons of gas into the vehicle when empty.
It should be called 7 ugly things... although there are at least 70! Somehow Toyota manage to create one of the worst looking cars and then made it uglier with every new generation! :(
