Thats how I feel about living in the south. But I shouldn't be telling all our secrets to the world. I've been an serious fan of Chris & Fred Eaglesmith since '96 or 7. They mean a lot to me.
I am new to Chris Knights Music. Feel like I been down in a hole not being aware of this gem of a Musician for all these years. Chris is an amazingly talented Musician. So great to listen to ! You all have been blessed to have enjoyed him all these year's ! Tc
Just discovered this beautiful singer - what a godsend! A friend sent me his song, "North Dakota" just as I had returned from that state to check on the family farm. Such a beautiful song to hear then, and always. Can't wait to hear more of this talented man.
Saw him and his band sing on Friday night in a little joint in Texas, about 20 feet away. Just the most authentic, genuine sounding dude I've ever heard sing.
A song of wanna be redemption. “Send it on down” is a song about being somewhere; and where is what’s the problem. Send it on down is a song of reflection. At the end of the day, you’re still looking for it. But you always the got road..
Chris you are a National treasure to American Counrty/ Folk Music ! So glad I found your Music thanks to Tyler Hood. Best wishes Chris ! Thank you for sharing your Music. Thank you Tyler Hood for turning me on to Chris Knights Music ! Chris's Music resonates so brilliantly !
The best way to experience Chris is acoustic in a small venue. Saw and met him at a place called the Rustic Cowboy in Stonewall, Louisiana. He played solo to about 30 people.
The last time I saw Chris was several years ago in a tavern in Southern Illinois with this other guitar player. It was awesome, the first time was a long time ago outdoors in Owensboro KY. With the full band and that was awesome as well.
Sound - Great ( oh - nice work on guitars working together) better with the full band. Song hits a lot of high points with just the right vocal quality to lift this song to major heights. Good Job!!!
Chris is s’posed to play in Atlanta in October. Even tho’ it’s a 6 hr drive (rt) for me, I’ll be there, since it seems that’s as close as he’s gonna be to me for a while. Hopefully the commie flu won’t cause it to be cancelled.....
man chris is a national treasure , i kinda wish more folks knew about him but i also like it being kinda like my little secret .
I agree been listening to him for years I love the guy and his music proud to say he's from my home state of Kentucky

This guy is so awesome. Soul. Majorly underrated singer/song writer. Can make you cry like a baby.

They should discount the dislike button. No one will use it here. Absolutely amazing

Did you make it?
Reba
Reba McEntire
Gosh, this is painful compared to Lee Ann Womack’s version. She’s incredible.
She has a amazing no doubt, but she would have never recorded it if Chris Knight hadn’t written it. This is the way it was meant to be performed.
Wow
